For almost a century the debate about women as ordained servants in the Church of Sweden has raged on and on. The decision to open up the priesthood for both genders in 1958 was a milestone in the women?s liberation movement as well as it marks an important time in the church history. The debate has mainly been about how to interpret scripture, who has the right to do so, and so on. Feminist theology has become one way in recent decades to paint a wider and more nuanced picture of history and how to interpret the texts often used to repress women.This essay surveys some of the steps towards that decision, as well as it paints a rough picture of what leadership among women in the church could involve before ordination became an option.

Background: Acquisitions are a well-known method for increasing company size and strength on the market. But to reach the targets set, more than just a positive economic calculation is required. An atmosphere that supports the company's integration is needed, for which it is of great importance for management to understand the underlying sets of values that exist in the organisation, and to take into consideration the way they might become an obstacle or a tool for a successful integration. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to explain and understand how cultural change occurs and how it affects the employee, as a smaller company is bought and integrated into a larger organisation. Procedure: The analysis is based on theories on organisational culture and organisational change.

AbstractElisabeth Hellström: Hur lät Jenny Lind, Christina Nilsson och Signe Hebbe? En studie av sångskolor och röstideal under 1800-talet. Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för musikvetenskap, uppsats för 60 p, 2007.The aim of this essay is to, with starting point in the Garcia- and Lamperti-schools, describe the voice ideals of the 19th century, and how it may have sounded. To exemplify the last-mentioned I have studied the voices of the three singers Jenny Lind,  Christina Nilsson and Signe Hebbe (there are no recordings of any of them).The essay contains two major parts. In the first I describe the technique of the Garcia- and Lamperti-schools and their views on registers, vibrato and messa di voce, ending with a summarizing analysis of the 19th century vocal ideals.

?Repetition är kunskapens moder ? en studie om hur två arbetslag på olika skolor arbetar med läs- och skrivinlärningsmaterial i år 1?, ett examensarbete skrivit av Josefine Bäckström och Elisabeth Meijer. Vi har redogjort för tidigare forskning som berör lärobokens auktoritet och vilken betydelse lärarens personliga och pedagogiska roll har för undervisning. Teorier från Vygotskij lyfts i studien, att det är eleven själv som ska lära sig att läsa och skriva, men hon behöver inspiration, motivation och uppmuntran på vägen. Studien är baserad på kvalitativ forskningsmetod genom insamling av intervjuer och observationer som har resulterat i en redogörelse för de material arbetslagen använder.

Denna studie behandlar det historiska datorspelet Europa Universalis III utifrån en bildanalys. Vår avsikt med arbetet var att undersöka genuskonstruktioner samt se vilken typ av historiebruk som kommer till uttryck genom den västerländska historiekulturen i spelet. I vår bildanalys har vi använt oss av Eva Blomberg och Knut Kjeldstadli. Det vi har kommit fram till är att Europa Universalis III till största del använder sig av historiska markörer och igenkänningsprincipen samt att spelet är ett uttryck för det kommersiella historiebruket. Vidare har vi funnit att datorspelsskaparna genom det kommersiella historiebruket dragit nytta av den västerländska historiekulturen för att göra ekonomiska vinster och locka spelare.

Titel: Ledarens betydelse för företagskulturen då företaget expanderar till nya marknader Författare: Marie Lood och Elisabeth Nilsson Handledare: Göran Alsén och Camilla Wernersson Institution: Managementhögskolan, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola Kurs: Kandidatarbete i företagsekonomi, 10 poäng. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka om chefer verkligen har så stor betydelse som den allmänna uppfattningen tillskriver dem, och vi gör undersökningen med särskilt hänseende till bibehållandet av företagskulturen då ett företag expanderar till nya marknader. Vi tar reda på och klargör chefens betydelse för bibehållandet av företagskulturen vid företagsexpansion. Metod: För att studera förhållandet mellan chef och företagskultur intervjuade vi fem chefer i personliga intervjuer respektive per telefon, om deras erfarenheter vid företagsexpansioner. Genom att göra det lade vi den empiriska grunden för den analys vi därefter genomförde via kultur- och ledarskapsteorier vi fann i litteraturstudien. Slutsatser: Vår slutsats är att ledaren som levt och verkat i företagskulturen har stor betydelse för företagskulturbevarande vid företagsexpansioner, då denne vet vad företaget vill förmedla till de nyanställda. Ledaren har i sin position inflytande att påverka de anställda i exempelvis interaktioner och värderingsbildande..

Syftet med denna studie var att med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer undersöka lärares medvetenhet angående betydelsen av användandet av barnens erfarenheter i skrivundervisningen, för att erbjuda eleverna en god möjlighet till att utveckla sin skrivförmåga. För att uppnå syftet formulerades två frågeställningar, hur lärare beskriver barnens erfarenheter utifrån skrivundervisningen och hur de beskriver att de utformar sin skrivundervising med tanke på elevernas erfarenheter.I studien har framkommit att lärarnas intention är att utgå från barnens erfarenheter. De lärare som intervjuats ser barnens erfarenheter som viktiga och som en förutsättning i skrivundervisningen, men de ser också att olika erfarenheter förbereder eleverna på olika sätt inför den undervisning som ges. Detta gör att de värderar och väljer ut vilka erfarenheter de vill använda i skrivundervisningen. Samtidigt ser lärarna sig själva som viktiga förmedlare av erfarenheter som barnen kan bygga sin skrivutveckling på.Uppsatsen har som teoribakgrund Vygotskijs sociokulturella perspektiv men även Deweys erfarenhetsteori och Bourdieus teori om fält, habitus och kapital.

A scenario for a future health care with a possibly new Government Authors: Jessica Andersson, Nina Gunnarsson Supervisor: Thomas Danborg Department: School of Management, Blekinge Institute of Technology Course: Bachelor?s thesis in Business Administration, 10 credits Purpose: To describe the problem with privatizing of the health care by analyse the arguments in favour of and against private health care and describe a scenario about a future health care with a possibly new Government. Method: Qualitative Grounded theory method, categorizing secondary facts in order to get the complete picture. Results: The market for private health care will increase by a possibly new Government.

The purpose of this study was to look for tendencies that social media can contribute to exposing users to a stronger perception of opinion polarization, and further to see if the daily presence of social networking sites can put normative pressure on the users. The study was made using a survey with participants from Umea? University during the time frame of november-december 2014. The theoretical framework behind the study was mainly drawn from The Spiral Of Silence by Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann and was further supplemented with more current research, studying the effects from The Spiral Of Silence in the modern and more fragmented media landscape that exists now then when her theory was written. Further theoretical tools for analysis of the results came from Michel Foucault and his discussions in Discipline and punish, specifically his views on how surveillance can be discontinous in practice, but still permanent in it?s effects.The results of this study indicates that social media users tend to isolate themselves from uncomfortable opinions, and do not follow or read opinions they do not already agree with.

The purpose of this study was to analyze recent appropriations of works of art in advertising. Why was art infused into magazine advertisements, how were the works of art tampered with to achieve commercial goals, how well did they function together with the ad copy? What did these advertisements want? What did the artwork contribute to the commercial message? These were some of the questions asked in the study that involved a closer look at four appropriations: one based on a battle painting by the Swedish 1900th century artist Carl Wahlbom, with a commercial message printed on top;  one a collage including an 18th century portrait of Marie Antoinettte by Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun; one advertisement was influenced by Dutch 1700th century still lifes, and, finally, one paraphrased Velázquez?s famous painting Las Meninas from 1655. Companies behind the advertisements featured a Swedish trade journal, a fashion exhibition in Paris, a shop for kitchen utensils in Stockholm, and an up-scale department store in Madrid.The ads, in different ways based on works of art, were evaluated as reasonably successful commercial messages. These ads, however, hardly qualified as works of art in their own right ? if that was the intention.

Resultat: Granskning av kassaflödesanalyser visar att det är svårt att göra jämförelser mellan kassaflödesanalyser eftersom företagen väljer att följa RR 7 med de anpassningar som är nödvändiga med hänsyn till företaget's verksamhet..

Tidigare forskning i bland annat barndomssociologi har hävdat att barn är en grupp som måste lyftas fram och synliggöras, kanske framförallt i de länder där risken för utsatthet är hög (Wyness 2006). Även i utvecklingsekologin så nämns att barnet bör ses utifrån omgivningen och dess sammanhang (Andersson 2002). Indien är ett av dessa länder som är under utveckling men som fortfarande behöver omvärldens stöd. Syftet med vår studie är att synliggöra barnens roll i familjen i en kontext som i flera avseenden skiljer sig från det västerländska. Detta har vi undersökt i Hathi Tiba som ligger i Rajasthan, norra Indien.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what role the new city library in Halmstad has for its users. The questions posed in this study are: What do the users actually do at the library? What roles are the most significant according to the users? Have the politicians succeeded in their intention of realizing a modern library according to the users? The theoretical starting point is Andersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s theory of four different roles of public libraries. In order to extend the model we added a fifth function; the one of aesthetical experience.

Commissioned for this report is Ramboll, Bridge and Tunnel Unit in Stockholm. Theidea throughout the work has been to primarily help bridge designers compilingadvice and instructions on how fatigue verification for railway bridges in reinforcedconcrete shall be performed under the new rules, the Eurocodes.After the introduction of the Eurocodes in 2011 has major problems emerged amongdesigners around Sweden. In some areas, it differs in the calculation rules comparedwith rules from the Swedish Transport Administration and the National Board ofHousing, Building and Planning calculation. Fatigue verification is one area where thenew calculation rules are different from the past.A large part of the report has been to interpret and find the relevant information inthe Eurocodes concerning fatigue. When questions or doubts have surfaced, this hasbeen discussed with Elisabeth Helsing at the Swedish Transport Administration andbridge designers at Ramboll.The result is a report where the structure is organized in the way that the bridgedesigners can move from cover to cover and realize that fatigue verification in realityfollows the same order as the report's sections.
