Patientens behov av information postoperativt

Syfte: Att belysa patienters behov av information postoperativt. Bakgrund: Flera hundra tusen operationer genomförs varje år i Sverige på patienter som läggs in på sjukhus. Många av dessa patienter är stressade och oroliga och behöver få information för att minska deras oro. En av kärnkompetenserna för sjuksköterskor är att kunna ge information. Metod: Kunskap om vikten av patientinformation införskaffades genom vetenskapliga artiklar.

Informationen flödar : - men vem förmedlar?

Syfte: Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur information kan hanteras med ett integrerat affärssystem till stöd för controllers och personer med ledande befattningar.Metod: Vi genomförde en fallstudie där vi intervjuade controllers och personer med ledande befattningar på WSP. Detta för att kartlägga de informationsbehov som finns utifrån deras centrala arbetsuppgifter. Med utgångspunkt från en teoretisk referensram och med vetskap om deras informationsbehov analyserade vi hur information kan hanteras med hjälp av ett integrerat affärssystem till stöd för dem.Resultat: För personer med ledande befattningar handlar det ofta om att få information för att ta sig till beslut, och de behöver oftast olika sorters information. Controllern har en central roll för att hantera och vidarebefordra information, och det är viktigt att det finns bra verktyg för att hantera och distribuera information. Ett integrerat affärssystem kan vara till stöd för hantering och spridning av information, och vid utformandet av affärssystemet är det viktigt att skapa en presentation av informationen som stimulerar användaren och ger möjlighet för användaren att förstå dess innehåll.

Inkludering av elever med ADHD : En fallstudie från åk 5

Today there are many students with behavioral and developmental disorders in schools. One of these disorders is ADHD. The medical designation ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I have chosen to research how two students with ADHD can be included in a fifth grade classroom.This research paper addresses the issues surrounding the student?s day-to-day life with a focus on the classroom.

Kommunikationsproblem och bemötande inom referenssamtalet

This bachelor thesis is about communication problems and treatment during the reference interview. The purpose was to investigate the reasons of why users? information needs are not always understood by the librarian and what to do about it. I have also investigated what kind of skills that can be useful for librarians to have and how a librarian can act in a way that makes the user feel welcome during the reference interview. The method I used was a literature study and an own study through interviews of library users.

Hjärtsviktspatientens uppfattning om sin kunskap och den information de fått angående sin sjukdom och egenvård

Background: Heart failure is a complex condition which means that the hearts capacity topump blood is reduced. The aim of this study was to investigate how patients with heartfailure considered their knowledge and the information they received about their disease andself-care.Method: Patients suffering from heart failure, hospitalized at section 30 E (n=13), andpatients visiting the nurse led heart failure clinic (n=4) at Akademiska sjukhuset in Uppsala,were requested to participate in the study. The patients answered questions about knowledgeand information concerning self-care and their disease. Data were analyzed using SPSS 15.0.Results: The patients valued their knowledge about the disease as lower than their knowledgeabout self-care. The study showed that all the patients found the information they hadreceived about their self-care better than the information they had received about theirdisease.

Tidssynkronisering av information i second-screenapplikationer

I denna uppsats undersöker vi hur tre olika tidpunkter för visning av information på en secondscreen uppfattas av personer. Målet med undersökningen är att få en inblick i hur tittare upplever information som visas på en second-screen. Vi hoppas att resultatet ska kunna bidra till utformingen av kommande second-screenapplikationer. Dessutom har vi undersökt om tidpunkten av när information visas påverkar minnet av det personer ser på second-screenen. Vi utförde tester på totalt 18 personer med hjälp av tre stycken prototyper och varje testperson blev intervjuad efteråt..

Förändringsprocessen vid, och upplevelsen av, en omorganisation: en fallstudie i Bodens kommun

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka mellanchefers upplevelse av den del av förändringsprocessen vid Boden kommuns omorganisation som avser medarbetarperspektivet. En kvalitativ metod har tillämpats för att besvara syftet. Intervjuer har genomförts med åtta förvaltningschefer och sju avdelningschefer. Intervjufrågorna bygger på tre teorier: Blumberg- Pringle's modellen (1990) för arbetsprestation, Claes Janssens (1996) teori om förändringens fyra rum samt Locke & Lathams (1990) målsättningsteori. Resultaten visar på brister i information och utbildning samt i genomförandet av omorganisationen, vilket torde ligga till grund för andra problem som har uppstått senare i förändringsprocessen.

Human rights have been added to the new curriculum which came into force the 1st of July 2011 in the Swedish Upper Secondary school. The purpose with this master thesis is to compare the old and the new curriculum as part of an examination of what way they affect the Social Science education. Further the analysis focus on what is affecting discourses in the Social Science about human rights, as well as its communication and incorporation in its education. The empirical material consists of the schools steering documents and interviews with Social Science teachers. The theoretical framework is based on human rights education (HRE) and curriculum theory.

The fast developments in information and data technology during the recent years have accentuated the need for the business manager to interpret and act on information from the surrounding environment. Today we know little about what information is really used in the unique decision-making. Further, little is known about how information should be designed to fit people with a more intuitive approach to interpreting information. This study is therefore about the difference between peoples approach to interpreting information and how information should be designed to fit those with a more intuitive approach to interpreting information. The application is made to dairy farms in Sweden. The literature review describes the strategic leadership, the decision-making process and the intuitive and the analytic thinking.

Patients´ perceptions of preoperative information in connection with elective surgeries

Background: For an individual a surgery may involve strains and risks. Many patients experience a loss of its own identity and often an inability to control the situation while going through a surgical operation. Fear of pain or to not wake up from the anesthetic or that the surgery will fail are worrying factors that some people experiences. Purpose: The purpose was to describe patients? perceptions of preoperative information in connection to elective surgeries.

The purpose of this paper is to examine different attitudes regarding freedom of information and how libraries should fulfil their information-task represented by four organisations. The organisations are important in shaping the Swedish public libraries in different ways. The purpose is to examine in what ways their definition of information freedom may differ from one another and what that means in defining the public library. For the survey the qualitative textual analysis has been used for examining the documents and websites that are part of the debate about the public library and information freedom. We chose to interview representatives of four organisations that in different ways influence the shaping of the public library.

Theorists present a number of different phenomenons, which together create the foundation for inertia. This study deals with the apparent resistance that appears among the large Nordic betting companies with regards to establishment on the electronic sports (eSports) market. The analysis is based on how the old phenomenon inertia takes place in young and seemingly flexible industries. This area has received limited coverage in current theory on inertia.

Särbegåvade elever : En studie om studie- och yrkesvägledning och stimulans i gymnaiseskolan

The aim of the study was to improve understanding of how upper secondary school acknowledge and adjust support and guidance for gifted students regarding their future academic and professional career. The study examined school pricipals and career counselors approach to guidance work with gifted students and how the above mentioned professionals received information about gifted students. It was further examined what measures were applied to adjust the upper secondary school to the needs of gifted students. Qualitative interviews were conducted and the results showed that in cases where the informants were told it took place in conjunctions with seminars about the class, through grades or through a teacher or the students themselves who contacted the career counselor or principal at the upper secondary school.The giftedness was connected to the school curriculum and various course topics in the secondary programs. School principals viewed the career counselor as an important resource to provide motivational support, individualize and survey future plans.
