Bakgrund: Under senare år har skandaler inom svenska banker uppmärksammats. Det har senare visat sig att många skandaler har uppkommit till följd av brister inom den interna kontrollen. Samtidigt har antalet interna brott som begås på grund av en svag intern kontroll ökat trots att flera noterade bolag har ökat sina investeringar i den interna kontrollen. Banker har en viktig roll i samhället men den interna kontrollens betydelse för att motverka individuell yrkesbaserad ekonomisk brottslighet inom svenska storbanker är inte särskilt utredd.Syfte: Studien ämnar bidra med en förståelse för hur intern yrkesbaserad ekonomisk brottslighet motverkas med de svenska storbankernas interna kontroll med hänvisning till Internal Control ? Integrated Framework och Three Lines of Defence.

Prognostisering av makroekonomiska variabler är betydelsefullt för många individer i en ekonomi, inte enbart för politiska beslutsfattare. Samtliga beslut som tas i ekonomiska sammanhang grundar sig på våra framtida förväntningar om variablerna och kommer ständigt att vara förknippade med osäkerhet eftersom framtiden obönhörligen är oviss. För att underlätta beslutsfattande är det därmed nödvändigt att vidareutveckla metoder för att generera prognoser som är så tillförlitliga och rättvisande som möjligt. Bland de viktigare prognoserna är de som visar framtida inflationsförväntningar eftersom dessa tillsammans med den faktiska inflationen påverkar hur Riksbanken sätter styrräntan. Inflationsnivån och förväntningar på denna är något som påverkar såväl relationen arbetsgivare- arbetstagare som relationen långivare- låntagare.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om prognostisering av den svenska inflationen kan förbättras dels genom att använda ett mått på BNP-gap som förklarande variabel, dels genom att tillämpa en metod för interceptjustering.

The concept of quality is difficult to identify clearly. Many attempts to define quality havebeen made, but the resulting definition remains vague.The quality concept (in the artistic sense) has since 1974 played a leading role in Swedishcultural policy. In the spring of 2009, a publication, named ?Kulturutredningen? waspublished. This report suggested a number of changes for the Swedish cultural policy.

Bakgrunden till denna uppsats är att den ekonomiska brottsligheten inom svenskt näringsliv kostar företagen och, i förlängningen, samhället stora belopp varje år. Uppsatsen fokuserar på förskingring och trolöshet mot huvudman, två brott som i huvudsak utförs av en anställd eller någon i en förtroendeposition. Uppsatsen följer en tråd där läsaren först får en förståelse för ekonomisk brottslighet i allmänhet, hur gärningsmannen ser ut och därefter hur brotten upptäcks. Externa kontrollinstanser som tillsynsmyndigheter har ofta en lagstadgad skyldighet att polisanmäla vid misstanke om brott, men rapporter från PwC visar att företagens interna kontrollmiljö har förbättrats på senare år, vilket innebär att företagen upptäcker en större andel av brotten. Detta innebär att det i större utsträckning är företagens beslut om ett brott skall polisanmälas eller inte.

Trade was assigned as a Community responsibility at the founding of the European Community in 1957. It was then recognized that Europe would achieve a greater international influence if it were to negotiate trade deals with one voice. Since then, the basic rule has been that the European Commission negotiates agreements on behalf of the EC, and presents the agreements negotiated for approval in the European Council. Today, the 25-member European Union is the largest trading power in the world, and most member states have decades of experience of coordinating their national trade interests into a common position. However, partly as a result of the complex nature of the trade decision-making processes it is sometimes problematic to identify who or what really influences EU trade policy.

Företagsledningar fattar beslut, i syfte att möta eller skapa förändringar, dessa påverkar ofta hela organisationen. Efter att ledningen fattat ett beslut måste beslutet verkställas på ett eller annat sätt, denna verkställningsprocess kallas för implementering. Många beslut som fattas av ledningen misslyckas under dess implementering i organisationen. Utifrån denna verklighet ärdet intressant att studera implementeringsprocesser. Detta har gjorts på olika organisationer men inte i något lantbrukskooperativ tidigare.Denna studie syftar till att ingående redogöra för implementeringen av ett ledningsbeslut som genomförts i lantbrukskooperativ.

I Indien är skillnaderna mellan pojkar och flickor påtagliga. Pojkarna ska försörja familjen när de blir vuxna, medan flickor ska giftas bort, ibland långt innan de har blivit vuxna. Detta märks tydligt på skillnaden i kvantitet skolgång som de får. Pojkars skolgång prioriteras framför flickors och för bara några år sedan skilde det över 20 procentenheter mellan läs- och skrivkunniga kvinnor och män. Det har visserligen blivit bättre på senare år, större och större andel flickor får börja skolan, men det är ändå fortfarande betydligt fler pojkar än flickor som skrivs in i skolan varje år.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is widely regarded as a significant catalyst for economic development especially in emerging and developing economies. While previous research has found different effects from foreign direct investments in different countries this study aims to explore the varying effects of FDI in Serbia and Montenegro. The study focuses on how FDI influences key economic indicators, specifically GDP per capita and employment rates, in the context of their aspirations to join the European Union (EU). Employing a comparative approach, the thesis examines the differing trajectories of Montenegro and Serbia in utilizing FDI for economic advancement. The research reveals that while Serbia shows significant positive correlation between FDI and both GDP per capita and employment rates, Montenegro displays no significant relationship in these aspects.

I have in my thesis examined what a leisure pedagogue does in school. I have asked the questions how it is with interaction between leisure pedagogues and teachers according to policy documents and according to the interviews I did with three professionals. In the literature part I began by describing the historical background to the after-school and leisure pedagogue profession until the new teacher education in 2011th.  My theory section, in previous research and theory, focuses on interaction between leisure pedagogue and teacher. In the research part I describe the interviews I did with three leisure pedagogue on three separate occasions.

Eleven years after broking the Kyoto-protocol, the European Union still stands in the front line, combating climate change. How come the EU, with 27 diversified states, is able to integrate its members to what is widely considered the most progressive climate policy in the world? This thesis takes a closer look at the negotiations that have shaped EU climate policy. Using negotiation-models to categorize different aspects of EU climatenegotiations, several key-findings are presented. The thesis concludes that while EU entered the Kyoto-protocol with little to lose because of external factors like previous energy-reforms in key member countries, it had plenty to win in global influence and the satisfaction of an overwhelmingly Kyoto-positive public.

The law which makes the purchase, or the attempt to purchase, temporary sexual services a criminal offence has been implemented in Sweden for more than six years. It appears as if very few, possibly no, sex-selling women have used the law to report men who have bought their services during these years. How can this be understood? With this thesis I suggest a new way of thinking on agency. A way which questions the traditional view on action whereby agency equals to act in certain, predefined ways.

New Zealand is currently the third largest global producer of kiwifruit and thus plays an important role in the international market. Exports of kiwifruit are also of significant horticultural value for New Zealand and in 2007 the kiwifruit industry accounted for export values of NZ$790 million. The global kiwifruit market has experienced substantial changes in recent years and is likely to change significantly in the near future due to developments in production sources, adjustments to trade policy settings and shifts in consumer preferences. The New Zealand kiwifruit industry needs to consider what the impacts of these changes might be so that future strategies can be constructed effectively. Little quantitative modelling has been done in New Zealand to consider the impacts of changes to the global kiwifruit industry. The major contribution of this research was the development and calibration of a kiwifruit industry-specific partial equilibrium trade model. The model was then used to examine the impacts on New Zealand producers of these trade-related changes in the global kiwifruit market.

By studying the forms of work and methods teachers choose for their teaching on the Business and Administration Programme and by examining the experiences gained by these teachers, I hope to gain a clearer insight into how the demands of national policy/governing documents are met in the actual teaching of the courses within the programme. In my qualitative study,teachers in a team from a Business and Administrative Programme have been my informants. The team combines multiple forms of work and methods in line with the intentions of the national policy/governing documents. Students usually have an unbroken school day with block teaching where they work with case studies and interdisciplinary  work. Morals and ethics are integrated in class.

Ekonomisk brottslighet är ett samhällsproblem som påverkar alla. Det är ett stort problem för företag världen över oberoende av vilken industri eller vilket land företaget befinner sig i. Ekonomisk brottslighet har ingen klar definition, men sägs vara brott som sker inom ramen för en lagligt bedriven näringsverksamhet och för vinnings skull. Ekobrott påverkar inte bara företag utan även stat och den enskilda människan.Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva den ekonomiska brottslighetens utveckling. Vi vill redogöra för orsakerna till varför ekobrott sker och genom detta undersöka om ekobrotten verkligen ökar eller om de endast uppmärksammas mer.

?CSR and political consumption ? a study of Nike?s and Puma?s CSR-reports?The purpose of this dissertation is to examine if political consumption has influenced multinational corporations to improve their Corporate Social Responsibility reports and policies more, than a company who has not been a target for political consumption.This dissertation is a content analysis of Nike?s and Puma?s first (Nike 2001, Puma 2001) and latest (Nike 2007/09, Puma 2007/08) CSR- reports. Archie Carroll?s model of Corporate Social Responsibility is used as theoretical framework in this study. The model is used to focus on four areas within CSR; economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic.
