The aim of this study is to gain knowledge about the internalcommunication at a public library in Sweden, focusing on the flow of information and the library employee?s role as a source and receiver. This is an important subject because internal communication affects not only the internal work, but also the users. Despite this there are few studies about internal communication in libraries. The research questions used are: How do the employees perceive the role as source of information, and what choices do they make before they spread information? How do the employees perceive the role as receiver of information? How do the employees feel that the information flow works in the organization as a whole?The research is founded on five qualitative semi-structured interviews with the library employees.

The proportion of women entrepreneurs in Sweden is, as in many countries, smaller than the proportion of men entrepreneurs. Sweden has therefore created political measures with the ambition to increase women entrepreneurship. However, knowledge about the determinants of women entrepreneurship is needed in order to enable the promotion of it and, at the same time one can question the treatment of women entrepreneurs as a homogenous group. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the determinants of women entrepreneurship and whether these determinants fluctuate regionally. If this proves to be the case, a more spatial/individual approach should be used, when creating measures to promote entrepreneurship.

Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to illustrate and analyze the approach and parental involvement of a group of mothers in their children's schooling. Also their reflections on parental involvement will be highlighted and what the parents experience as obstacles in their involvement.Method: I conducted six semi structured interviews for my research. I chose to interview six mothers who have a child in the sixth grade. I chose specifically the sixth grade because the mothers will have had quite a few contacts with the school at this point. I also chose not to reveal their ethnicity because they cannot represent a whole ethnic group anyway.Result: The result of my interviews show that the parents have different approaches when it comes to parental involvement.

Syftet med denna rapport var att ta reda på om det fanns en värdepremie på den svenska marknaden. Därmed var avsikten att verifiera huruvida framtida avkastning baserad på fundamentala värden, såsom den förväntade långsiktiga utdelningstillväxten och det förväntade utdelning/pris förhållandet, gav högre precision på värdepremien än framtida avkastning baserad på realiserad avkastning. Ytterligare jämfördes resultatet med vad som hade uppnåtts i en liknande studie på den amerikanska marknaden. En kvantitativ metod baserad på sekundär data användes i denna undersökning. 30 aktier noterade på den svenska A-listan och den svenska O-listan mellan 1993 och 2002 valdes ut.

Bakgrund: Stroke drabbar ca 30 000 individer/år i Sverige och är den tredje största orsaken till mortalitet. Att drabbas av stroke påverkar inte enbart patienten utan även de närstående ställs inför en helt ny roll. Det är därför av största vikt att sjukvårdspersonalen är lyhörda även inför närståendes behov av information och stöd så att de kan sätta sig in i sin nya roll som vårdare. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka närståendes behov av information och stöd när en familjemedlem drabbas av en stroke utifrån närståendes perspektiv. Metod: Studien har utförts som en litteraturstudie.

Frågeställning:        ? Hur kommer kvalitetssäkringen av redovisningskonsultens arbete att utföras när frivillig revision råder? ? Kommer den frivilliga revisionen att påvisa en ökning av den ekonomiska brottsligheten och hur kommer detta i sådana fall att hanteras av branschen och dess kontrollerande organ?Syfte:                       Uppsatsen syftar till att undersöka och analysera hur den faktiska kvalitetssäkringen sker för redovisningskonsulters arbete i de fall ingen revision längre utförs, samt att utreda hur den ekonomiska brottsligheten påverkas av den frivilliga revisionen.                  Metod:                     Uppsatsen utgår från en kvalitativ studie där verkligheten har studerats för olika respondenter och deras organisationer. Totalt genomfördes sex intervjuer med åtta respondenter verksamma på redovisnings- och revisionsbyråer, Skatteverket samt Sveriges Redovisningskonsulters Förbund. En teorigenomgång görs också för ämnesrelevanta områden.Slutsats:                   Införandet av den nya lagen har resulterat i att kvalitetssäkring har blivit allt viktigare då auktorisation för redovisningskonsulter är i fokus när det gäller valmöjligheten om frivillig revision råder.

I Sverige genomförs varje år offentliga upphandlingar till ett värde av ca 500 miljarder kronor. Alla offentligt finansierade verksamheter måste följa lagen om offentlig upphandling och den formella upphandlingsprocess som lagen specificerar. Lagen är allmänt formulerad och anvisar en process där fokus ligger på förarbete och matematisk utvärdering.Cognitive Systems Engineering har vuxit fram utifrån insikten att effektiva processer kontinuerligt behöver använda såväl feedback och feedforward för att uppnå sina mål. Typiska tillämpningar är dynamiska, tätt kopplade processer där dessa behov är tydliga, men CSE som ramverk är generellt definierat och bör gälla även för en beslutsprocess på organisationsnivå. En CSE-analys har potential att förtydliga funktionella faktorer som tillåter upphandlare att genomföra effektiva och ändamålsenliga upphandlingar.I syftet att testa ovanstående hypotes genomfördes en fallstudie av Linköpings Universitets upphandling av företagshälsovård 2008.

For the actors in the Swedish forest industry, it is important to have the ability to forecast the state in the privateforests. The information that comes out of the forecasts will be the base for the activities strategic direction.The aim in this exam is to survey what information that is present today as basis for forecast calculation, andeven to examine what other possibilities it might have in the future.From a limited geography and out of different time perspective forecast the felling potential in the privateforestry.With the word felling potential means regeneration felling and thinning. The purpose of this master thesis is to examine some information aspects of decision-making in Swedish municipal committees. Which are the information needs and how do they emerge? How is the needed information sought and received and which are the sources? How do the members of the committees use information when making decisions? To answer these questions qualitative interviews were conducted with four politicians (two chairpersons representing the political majority and two vice-chairpersons representing the opposition) and three officials in a municipality with a population of about 50 000. The politicians were interviewed in capacity of decision-makers, whereas the officials from the local administration are of interest through their decision-supportive role, which includes providing of reports and other information. The examination indicates that even if the conditions to some extent differ between the committees, the administration is highly influential: Notions and proposals about action may come from inhabitants, organizations, politicians etc., but are handled by the administration, which often is the problem formulating actor, through which the informational needs nearly always are canalized.

It?s known that the drug information patients get at discharge from hospital is often insufficient. Patients? ignorance of which drug they use and how to take them can lead to drug related problems, can cause suffering and heavy expenses.The aim of this study was to shed light on the patients? understanding for drug information, which was given at discharge from hospital. The literature survey was used as a method and based upon a systematic choice of scientific articles, which were found in different databases during the period of April 1 to May 31, 2008.

Den internationella brottsligheten är idag världsomfattande. Den svarta sektorn har länge bidragit till en snedvriden konkurrens i kontantbranschen. Seriösa näringsidkare riskerar att konkurreras ut från kontantbranscher av fuskande aktörer vilket försämrar konkurrensen i samhället. För varje år mister svenska staten miljardbelopp i uteblivna skatteintäkter varav en stor del är direkt hänförlig till avsiktligt skattefusk. Detta är ett stort problem som påverkar Sveriges välfärd.

In the light of ever increasing international trade around the globe, affecting men and women in all countries, it is surprising that so little attention is given its gender effects. The effects of trade are said to be gender neutral, but could potentially act reinforcing on the existing gender patterns in a society. The aim of this thesis is to examine whether the implications for men and women in relation to trade liberalization can be found to differ. By stylizing some differences between men and women, this is done by examining the theoretical implications mainly via the Heckscher-Ohlin model and through a Beckerian approach. The implications found are then compared with the findings in existing empirical work.

Due to the obvious fact that one can never be hundred percent sure of what's hiddenunder the ground surface, construction work is naturally hard to project.However, many of the work methods are executed in the same way on variousprojects. The department of construction work at JM AB region öst describes a lackof follow-ups and feedback between the calculators and production managers.In this thesis we have studied the communication between these groups and alsohow they share experiences and knowledge. In order to get the full pictureof the day-to-day operations we used three methods to gather information. Studyingliterature gave basic knowledge of theories about feedback, and thenecessity of working with giving feedback. In order to understand the process ofconstruction work we made several interviews, both structured and nstructured.
