I ett klimat med kraftigt stigande fastighetspriser, rekordhög hushållsskuldsättning och sjunkande räntemarginaler för hypoteksbolagen ter sig en analys av potentiella kreditförluster för hypoteksbolagen som tämligen aktuell. Denna kandidatuppsats syftar till att studera hypoteksbolagens kreditrisk för utlåning till privatpersoner med bostäder som säkerhet. Analysen genomförs genom studier av utvecklingen på bolånemarknaden, låntagarnas skuldsättning och ekonomiska marginaler samt utvecklingen för bostadspriserna. I uppsatsen framstår kreditrisken för hypoteksbolagen som begränsad. Framförallt som en följd av att merparten av hushållen bedöms ha goda marginaler.

Syfte: Att utröna om det kan förkastas att Sharpekvoten ger en utvärdering av fonders prestation som stämmer överens med investerares förmodade uppfattning om nytta, dels för vanliga fonder, dels för hedgefonder. Teoretiska perspektiv: Sharpekvoten bygger på antagandet att investerare bedömer investeringar utifrån förväntad avkastning och varians. För att så ska vara fallet krävs att någon av följande förutsättningar är uppfyllda: att investeraren har en kvadratisk nyttofunktion eller att investeringars avkastning är normalfördelade. Det finns fog att ifrågasätta huruvida någon av dessa förutsättningar är uppfyllda (främst för hegdefonder) vilket innebär att fog även finnes för att ifrågasätta Sharpekvotens tillförlitlighet. Stokastisk dominans är en metod som tar hänsyn till hela avkastningens fördelning, och bygger på mycket rimliga antaganden om investerares nyttofunktioner.

The well-being of employees has become a key concept in the rhetoric of the company boards and business literature of today. There is however not much statistic evidence of a connection between economic results and the perceived working climate. This thesis sets out to investigate whether there is a positive correlation between economic results and working climate on a work group level. It also aims to study which specific working climate factors influence the results. In order to meet its purpose this thesis analyzes employee satisfaction questionnaire data and economic results from more than 300 work groups.

The tribo system ice-curling stone was investigated in order to understand the mechanisms behind the stones' behavior on the ice sheet. The problem with non-identical stones should also be addressed.The stone curls, that is, its sliding path deviates from a straight line to the right for a clock-wise rotation and to the left for a anti-clock-wise rotation. Several mechanisms to explain this behavior have been proposed over the years but none has been successful.By carrying out experiments at the local curling rink and studying silicon castings of ice- and stone-surfaces with scanning electron microscopy and vertical scanning interferometry, it has been decided that the curl is not due to dry friction, ice-debris or the difference in friction on the left and right side of the stone. The side force comes from the fact that the friction is higher at the back of the stone than at the front.The contact between stone and ice is never completely dry, nor in the hydrodynamic lubrication regime. It is probably a combination of hydrodynamic lubrication and a contribution from mechanical scratching of the ice.

SammanfattningBakgrundDet är i Sverige svårt att tillgodose behovet av cirka 450 tjänstehundar och gällande hälsa är uppfattningen bland användarna att hundarnas fysiska hållbarhet blivit sämre. Med hänsyn till att det lider brist på tjänstehundar och att de tas ur tjänst tidigare än önskat vore det av stort värde att kunna förlänga en polishunds tjänstgöringstid. Ett sätt att förverkliga detta kan vara att använda undersökningstekniker vilka tidigt kan fånga upp lindriga förändringar i rörelsesymmetri, förändringar som kan vara ett första tecken på smärta. En tryckmätningsmatta kan registrera små förändringar i hur hunden belastar sina ben, förändringar som är svåra att se med blotta ögat. Det kan därför vara av intresse att ta fram ett normalmaterial för tjänstehundar så att det med tryckmätningsmattans hjälp tidigt går att upptäcka om en stoisk tjänstehund har ett förändrat rörelsemönster.Syfte & hypotesSyftet var att använda en tryckmätningsmatta för att skapa ett normalmaterial för en tjänstehundspopulation gällande parametrar registrerade med tryckmätnings-mattan.

After the orange revolution in Ukraine, hope was given to achieve fullydemocracy in the whole society. However, this has not been the outcome; theUkrainian public administration still has problems to deliver what the societydemands. By answering the question: ?Which problems have the publicadministration to become democratic and how can we explain them??, we analyzethe failures within the public administration to accomplish democratic procedures.The empirical material in this thesis is mainly obtained from interviews andresearch during a field study in Ukraine. The problems for the civil servants inUkraine to act as guardians of the society are strongly connected to an inadequateprofessional knowledge.

The aim of our thesis is to study and analyze the components and features a brand should have to provide a solid foundation for brand building. Furthermore, we show how brands can make use of trends in a brand establishment.This paper is written from a qualitative approach. Through both structured and semi structured interviews, we obtained valuable information from our respondents. Our frame of reference and empirical foundation are linked together through an abductive approach which has resulted in our analysis and conclusions.A trend brings with a set of emotional characteristics, which companies can?t influence but must adapt to.

Bakgrund: Förtroendet är en av de viktigaste förutsättningarna för en framgångsrik och likvid aktiemarknad. Stora fluktuationer på aktiemarknaden riskerar minska investerares förtroende för marknaden och dess effektivitet. Anomalier är ett typexempel på oförklarade upp- och nedgångar på aktiemarknaden som studerats i samband med marknadseffektivitet. Vad som driver anomalier råder det inom forskningen delade meningar om. Klassisk ekonomisk teori har fått störst genomslag inom forskningsområdet, dock har ingen entydig förklaring till fenomenet kunnat ges.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to create an understanding of how customer engagement, communication / interaction and customer insight are driving forces behind the use of Social CRM from a leadership perspective.Method: The purpose of the study, we believed it was appropriate to use a qualitative approach to conduct the study. The empirical data were collected through semi-structured interviews. The sample consisted of 10 companies located in the Gävle area who are active on social media. The interviews were coded to obtain keywords and patterns. These patterns and keywords are then analyzed to arrive at the study's results.Results and contributions: Our results suggest that all the identified benefits, customer engagement, customer insight and communication are driving forces to make use of social CRM.

This thesis revolves around co-opetition and boundary spanning activities with IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) as research case. The main objective is to through qualitative interviews and a passive observation of email conversations explore how the participants of IETF experience and is affected by a double membership where they sometimes are cooperating with their competitors. Theories states that boundary spanning activities can create role conflicts for these participants when different role-senders, IETF and the employer, send incompatible expectations. We also believe that this can have a negative impact on discussions and the standard development process, which is why we are conducting the passive observations mentioned above.The result shows that the environment of co-opetition is a contributing factor to role-conflicts. These conflicts appear when participants are forced to choose between the role as an employee and the role as an IETF participant.

In 1930 a new library reform came into force, which in reality was the beginning of the modern Swedish library. The purpose of this reform was to take measures to promote efficiency, for example to increase library co-operation. The Government grants were at the same time raised considerably. However, as early as in 1930, but especially the following year, the depression hit Sweden. The Government reduced the grants until the first half of 1936.

Den strukturella arbetslösheten har legat på 2% under hela perioden 1940-1990. Även efter lågkonjunkturen i början på 1980-talet gick den tillbaka till denna nivå. Dock ökade långtidsarbetslösheten, vilket tyder på att många av de personer som blev arbetslösa under lågkonjunkturen hade problem att ta sig tillbaka in på arbetsmarknaden, trots ökad efterfrågan. Efter 1990-talskrisen ökade både den strukturella arbetslösheten och långtidsarbetslösheten kraftigt. Om den ökade långtidsarbetslösheten beror på låg efterfrågan på långtidsarbetslösa eller på att arbetsmarknaden är ogynnsam för alla grupper är oklart.

Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV) is a common cause of respiratory disease among young cattle. The virus causes severe losses; the herd mortality rate can sometimes be as high as 20 %. In this study the avidity (i.e the antigen binding force) of BRSV specific antibodies was measured to see if there was a difference between antibodies produced during an acute phase of infection and antibodies produced by earlier infected animals. A commercially available ELISA-testkit against BRSV-specific antibodies was used and an incubation step with 6M urea was added. The effect of the urea is that it breaks the weak bonds between antibodies and antigen while the stronger bonds remain intact. Four different groups of animals were included in this study; seven calves that were naturally infected, three acutely infected calves with known time of infection, five cows that were seropositive during several years and four experimentally infected calves that had been a part of a vaccine trial. The results of this study showed that antibodies produced during the acute phase of an infection had a low avidity and that the avidity increased with time after infection.

Every now and then new political ideas appear which creates debate. A current example of political debate is the one which concerns the creation of a feminist political party in Sweden -Feministiskt initiativ. Apparent in the current debate is that there are two existing conflicts of ideas present. The liberal thought of politics of ideas stands against feminism's demand for presence in the political life. And the other, the conflict which concerns the question of where a line between the public and the private spheres should be drawn.
