Utbytesstudier utomlands sägs öka studenters kreativitet. Kreativitet och innovation, framför allt kreativa medarbetare är en viktig faktor för att företag ska vara framgångsrika i dagens allt hårdare konkurrens. Studenter inom företagsekonomi är framtida anställda och företagsledare, därför är det viktigt att undersöka om utlandsstudier verkligen ökar kreativiteten. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka utlandsstudiernas påverkan på företagsekonomistudenters personliga egenskaper med koppling till kreativitet. Vi undersöker påverkan på kreativitet med hjälp av Big Five Inventory kategorierna noggrannhet och öppenhet då dessa personegenskaper anses påverka kreativiteten.  Resultat från genomförd internetenkät (N=111, svarsfrekvens=15,5%) visar på en ökning av noggrannhet men inte av öppenhet.

A titania-supported nickel catalyst was prepared and tested in methanation in order to evaluate its catalytic properties (activity, selectivity and specially, activity loss), and compare it with an alumina-supported nickel catalyst.The titania-supported catalyst did not only show higher stability than alumina, but also presented a different cause of deactivation, carbon formation. In addition, a kinetic model was obtained for the titania-supported catalyst, and a study of the effect of different operating conditions (temperature, composition and partial pressures of synthesis gas and water) on the deactivation rate and carbon formation of this catalyst was performed.

The purpose of this investigation was to find out more about students? spontaneous ideas about properties and transformations of matter. Examples of matter chosen are such which students know about from everyday life and focus is mainly on the questions if students know that all matter has weight and that matter is preserved in transformations.The method used is semi structured qualitative interviews with individual students. Different experiments were carried out together with the students who afterwards were interviewed. However, the students show varying answers and no generalizations can be done.

Syftet med vår undersökning är att övergripande synliggöra den dominanta roll ett barn kan ha eller få i en grupp. Vi valde att observera i två olika klasser i de lägre åldrarna på en F-6 skola. För att få syn på den dominanta rollens egenskaper så använde vi oss av bland annat videoinspelning. Videoinspelningen gav oss material som kom så nära den naturliga miljön i gruppen som möjligt. Först när vi började observera såg vi inte några av de egenskaper som vi trodde karaktäriserade den dominanta rollen.

Nätverk är en platt arbetsorganisation som nyttjas alltmer frekvent. I Skåne startades nätverk för Hälsofrämjande skola/skolutveckling 2000, vars syfte var att få igång, stödja och utveckla grundskolornas hälsofrämjande processer. Kontaktpersoner utsågs, med ansvar att driva frågorna i deras respektive kommun. Det centrala i konceptet är att det hälsofrämjande arbetet skall fördelas över hela läroverk, inte enbart angå ett fåtal engagerade individer. Skolledare/rektor och en koordinator framställs i bakgrunden som nyckelpersoner för att möjliggöra denna process genom deras befogenheter respektive överblick och relationer till de involverade.

Neutralsulfitkokning av björk möjliggör ett högt utbyte av hemicellulosa, vilket bidrar positivt till flutingens egenskaper och minskar vedkostnaden. Neutralsulfitkoket ska avbrytas när delignifieringen nått tillräckligt långt för att veden ska kunna defibreras skonsamt med en rimlig energiinsats, men innan nedbrytningen av hemicellulosa hunnit accelerera. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka utbytets och malningens inverkan på NSSC-massans egenskaper.En laboratoriestudie genomfördes där massan kokades till olika utbyten och maldes vid olika insatser. Resultatet av den studien användes sedan för att ställa om kokaren och raffinörerna på lämpligt sätt vid fabriksförsöken. Massaprover togs ut efter det andra kvarnsteget och skickades för analys.

Inom varje organisation så finns det en egen ledarskapsstruktur, som oftast har den manliga normen som utgångspunkt. Denna norm har föreställningar om vilka egenskaper ledare bör ha. I dagens läge har alltfler kvinnor fått chefs-/ledarskapspositioner. Dock anses dessa kvinnor vara bristfälliga då de har mjuka egenskaper i sitt ledarskap - egenskaper vilka ofta ställs i kontrast till det manliga ledarskapet. För att skapa en viss ledarskapsstruktur använder sig dagens organisationer av individers personligheter och egenskaper.

Den kreativa melankolikern. Uppsatsens titel sammanfattar det övergripande temat för denna studie. Individer med psykisk skörhet har ofta egenskaper som är förknippade med samhällsnyttiga värden, såsom kreativitet, uppfinnarförmåga och konstnärlighet. Trots det så tycks det som om psykiskt sjuka i det moderna samhället alltjämt kategoriseras och tillskrivs negativa egenskaper som utgör en samhällelig belastning. Vad som sällan eller aldrig uppmärksammas är att psykiskt sjuka personer ofta har långa perioder av friskhet och därmed borde utgöra en samhällelig kraft.

Den ökande graden av homogena produkter och en allt högre konkurrens mellan företag skaparett behov för företagen att differentiera sig genom service. Fler och fler företag använder sig avproduktsupportservice för att skapa konkurrensfördelar. Det är lönsamt att ha bra kundserviceeftersom det kostar mindre att göra kunderna nöjda än vad det gör att attrahera nya kunder ellerfå tillbaka kunder som företaget tidigare förlorat. Det mycket viktigt för ett företag att se tillvilka kvaliteter som ger framgångsrik personal. Bra personal har olika nyckelegenskaperberoende på vilken bransch det handlar om.
