Kursen Matematik B är en de kurser som ställer störst krav på nytt konceptuellt tänkande för gymnasieelever vilket ställer höga krav på ett flexibelt sinne. Därför ansåg jag det vara intressant att undersöka närmare de aspekter som kringgärdar kursen. Jag försökte i min undersökning att hitta svar på vilka moment inom denna kurs där elever med samhällsvetenskaplig inriktning på gymnasiet känner att de har minst tilltro för sin egen matematiska förmåga. Men även vad som kan ligga bakom de resultat som uppstår, samt vilka förändringar som kan vara lämpliga. Undersökningen genomfördes som en kvantitativ studie där elever fick uppskatta sin förmåga att behärska olika moment inom de avsnitt som ingick i kursen via en enkät. Dessa sammanställdes sedan för analys. I diskussionen försöker jag måla upp ett samband mellan studiens resultat och elevernas motivation och matematisk förmåga samt vilka lämpliga åtgärder som kan tänkas behövas göra för att utveckla bättre resultat..

Uppsatsen ger en beskrivning av olika lärares resonemang kring hur man organiserar matematik- undervisningen under skolår 7-9. Ingår gör också lärares resonemang om vilka moment/förmågor i matematik som olika elever bör ha med sig efter avslutad grundskola. Den tredje frågan som behandlas i uppsatsen är vilka moment/förmågor inom matematiken som undervisningens organisation ger eleverna möjlighet att lära sig. Dessa frågor besvaras med hjälp av observationer på tre olika skolor och intervjuer med sex lärare på dessa tre skolor. I uppsatsen ingår en analys av de läromedel som skolorna använder sig av inom matematikundervisningen.

Musikundervisningen på högstadieskolorna skiljer sig väsentligt enligt en nationell utvärdering som skolverket genomförde 2003, både beträffande vilka kunskaper eleverna utvecklar samt lärares arbetssituation och förutsättningar. Vilka faktorer är det som påverkar lärares sätt att bedöma kunskaper inom ämnet musik? Är musikaliska kunskaper och prestationer överhuvudtaget mätbara och vilka metoder använder undervisande lärare sig av för att göra bedömningen likvärdig?Det övergripande syftet är att ta reda på vilka moment som verksamma musiklärare i grundskolans sista år betygssätter inom ämnet musik. Finns det några moment som värderas högre än andra vid bedömningen och isåfall vilka? Vi kommer att med utgångspunkt i teorier kring olika typer av kunskap, kunskapsbedömning samt läroplanen för den obligatoriska grundskolan, Lpo 94, genomföra kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra betygsättande lärare.Vi har genom kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer tagit del av fyra verksamma musiklärares tankar kring bedömning inom musikämnet.

To understand how a service encounter works, meeting face to face, companies need to understand how customers perceive that meeting.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness training in the treatment of chronic pain, estimate the degree of mindfulness before and after intervention, and to describe the participants experience of mindfulness training. Mindfulness is defined as moment to moment, non-judgmental awareness. After the treatment of chronic pain 16 patients were offered and nine agreed to participate in mindfulness training. The intervention group took part in an 8-week group-program. The comparison group, not randomized, was 16 former patients.

This thesis is done in cooperation with SWECO Energuide in Växjö. They have been assigned by SKB in Oskarshamn to renew their electrical power supply and the ancillary processing systems in their Central provisional storage of spent nuclear fuel, CLAB. Today in the CLAB facility, the spent fuel is cooled down with water pumps, driven by asynchronous induction motors, where the water is regulated by mechanical valves to the desired flow. After the upgrade, the engines will be powered by AC drives that can control the pumps by changing the rotational speed and thus change the water's cooling effect on the nuclear fuel. In this study, I investigated the interference AC drives causes the feeding network and how to go about averting them.

Ett av de största hälsoproblemen i vår tid är rökning. Rökning ger snabbt ett beroende och gör att det blir svårt att sluta. Syftet med litteraturstudien är att klargöra om det finns vetenskapligt stöd för att motiverande samtal har effekt vid rökavvänjning för vuxna utan rökrelaterade sjukdomar. Den metod som använts är en systematisk litteraturstudie. Nio artiklar som överensstämde med problemformuleringen inkluderades och kvalitetsgranskades.
