The purpose with this examination is to build a measureequipment to AerotechTelub AB (AT), who will registrate fault in SRAM-memory in contact with cosmic radiation. The equipment will be created around developcard from Memec Design with FPGA from Xilinx. The logic in the FPGA will be implemented with the hardwaredescribed language VHDL. The SRAM-memory that will be tested is build in CMOS-teknologi. The memorycells will be loaded with a predecided bitpattern.

During the last decade, the construction industry has focused on improving and optimising its production process. The construction industry is now facing larger changes regarding efficiency in their supply chain for the next decade. Many companies are now trying to optimise its supply chain together with its supplier. JM AB, which is one of the biggest construction companies in Sweden, is looking at different options to improve its own logistics together with their suppliers. One option is to use a terminal between JM and the suppliers to solve problems such as quality, custom service and inventory for the in production.

This case study is performed within the production of Sherwin-Williams, Bellö. The purpose is to increase the understanding how a value stream can function more efficient, from a lead time perspective. With the analytical model that is build up on known theories, the purpose have been fulfilled. Mapping of value and non value time for four products thru their respectively process reveals wastes, which is, waiting, transport and movement, incorrect processing and set-up time that in it self create transport and movement. Thru identified wastes that causes loss in lead time suggestions of improvement has been proposed.

This is an art-remix project that focuses on a dream about art and music remixed and made within a context of nonviolence. The goal is to create temporary (and in the long term hopefully stabile) spaces of peace. It will be done within places where change needs to come, where it needs to be heard/seen/experienced. Weapon exports from Sweden are increasing even though there is research showing that nonviolent resistance in conflict is more effective. In this essay I discuss nonviolence and how I can implement that in my work to find a meaningful work for both me and my neighbours.

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att undersöka hur samarbetet fungerar mellan klasslärare och specialpedagoger på en skola i Stockholmsområdet samt dess påverkan på berörda elever. Frågeställningarna som har fungerat som stöd för undersökningens genomförande är följande: Vilka problem upplever klasslärare och specialpedagoger i sin undervisning i förhållande till elever i behov av särskilt stöd? Hur fungerar samarbetet mellan klasslärare och specialpedagoger på skolan? Hur påverkas berörda elever av detta?Metoden som har använts för att genomföra undersökningen har främst varit kvalitativ i form av intervjuer. Undersökningen utgörs av fyra kvalitativa intervjuer med två klasslärare samt två specialpedagoger på en skola i Stockholms län. Resultatet för studien visar att problemen som klasslärarna och specialpedagogerna upplever i undervisningen i förhållande till elever som kräver extra stöd framför allt relateras till tidsbristen.

Research suggests that society's vulnerability to natural disasters along coasts could increase as a result of climate change, which is likely to lead to elevated sea levels and possibly an increase in the occurance of meteorological phenomena such as storms and tropical cyclones. Following the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005, both of which received considerable media attention, empirical data has indicated that coastal vegetation might be able to protect and reduce damages to coastal communities during tsunami events and tropical cyclones.The aim of the essay has been to study the function of coastal ecosystems as protection against tsunami waves and storms from a risk management perspective, meaning that I have, through an overview of scientific articles, compiled current research on how coastal ecosystems can attenuate storm surges and tsunami waves, and analysed how this knowledge can be put into practice in coastal communities from a risk management perspective, i.e. if coastal ecosystems are a viable risk reduction measure, are practically applicable, and if so, how they could be applied.There is empirical evidence suggesting that coastal ecosystems, particularly mangroves, can reduce the strength of a tsunami wave, but full scientific consensus on this issue has not yet been reached. With regard to protection against storm surges, there is extensive scientific evidence that coastal vegetation can mitigate damages and reduce the height of a storm surge, although the wave has to traverse several kilometres inland through thick vegetation for the protection to be effective. A synthesis in the form of a figure regarding the many physical factors that influence wave development through coastal ecosystems has been created in an attempt to simplify and explain the phenomenon.The conservation and restoration of coastal ecosystems can be justified from a risk management perspective, but planting new forest belts for the purpose of disaster mitigation is quite unrealistic and can rarely be sustainable, since, for protection to be effective, the forest belt must extend several kilometres inland from the coast, and would thus likely prove difficult to implement along coastal societies..

Before the European construction standards were introduced in January 2011, it was mainly themethod in BBK04 that was used for calculating punching capacity in concrete structures, and in lesscommon cases the method in BHB. The method of BBK04 is easy to use and have had the samestructure since the first was published in 1979. The Concrete handbook method (BHB) where usuallyonly used when a higher punching capacity was needed and the cross-sectional height where fixed,calculations using this method entails more work, but will in return usually give a higher capacity. Inledning Intrahospitala transporter av intensivvårdpatient är ett ansvarsfullt arbetsmoment och en stor del av intensivvårdssjuksköterskans och undersköterskans arbete. Det är riskfyllt eftersom tillbud med patient och utrustning kan ske.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva förekomsten av tillbud och typ av tillbud under intrahospitala transporter av intensivvårdspatienter, samt jämföra om det finns skillnader i förekomst av antalet tillbud under olika tidpunkter på dygnet och skillnad mellan akut respektive planerad transport. Syftet var också att undersöka sjuksköterskors och undersköterskors upplevda grad av stress och trötthet under transporten samt om det finns skillnad i förekomst av trötthet och/eller stress vid transporter där det sker tillbud respektive inte sker tillbud.Metod: Studien är kvantitativ, deskriptiv och jämförande. Förekomst av tillbud samt upplevelse av stress/trötthet besvarades på ett svarsformulär av sjuksköterska och undersköterska under eller direkt efter intrahospital transport. Totalt ingår 42 transporter.Resultat: Tillbud förekom vid 19 transporter.

Detta examensarbete genomfördes våren 2013 på Karlstads universitet där TD Rail & Industry i Västerås stod som uppdragsgivare. Projektet innefattade att kartlägga nuvarande omlastningslösningar av enhetslaster mellan järnvägstransporter och vägtransporter, och utarbeta en konceptuell omlastningslösning med fokus på att öka järnvägstransporternas flexibilitet gentemot vägtransporterna. Där vikten lades på att utarbeta ett välarbetat helhetskoncept.Projektet genomfördes med designprocessen som grund och innehöll bland annat momenten; förstudie, kravspecificering, idégenerering, konceptval m.m.Resultatet blev en vidareutveckling av det redan befintliga systemet CCT som bygger på horisontell överföringsteknik och möjliggör därför omlastning av enhetslaster direkt under kontaktledning. Skillnaden mellan RES och CCT är att man tagit bort ombyggnationen av tågvagn och lastbilschassi, som var en av CCTs stora svagheter, genom två hydrauliska ?teknikplattor?.
