The purpose of this study is to investigate two Handelsbanken offices and how they work in similar ways when dealing with internal communication. The goal is to answer if and in what way the managers` and the employes perceive their internal communication at the two bank officies. By a comparation between the two decentralisized officies the aim is also to study what differences and/or similarities that exists in internal communications?Are managers and employees satisfied with the communication that flows in the organization? I find it interesting to investigate in wheather there exist a similarity in the internal communication between the managers and the employees since it is a decentralized organization.I have made five semi-structured interviews with two managers at two different Handelsbanken offices. Additionally two interviews with two employes at one of the offices and also one interview at the other Handelsbanken office.By the study I have found that all respondents have a positive impression according the internal communication.

In today s society, services are becoming more and more important. They are however, partly because of their immaterial nature, separated from traditional merchandise, why the marketing and producing of them differs. Quality errors in a service are often difficult to discover before the service is brought to a customer, since the producing and consuming of it often takes place simultaneously. Quality errors in a service process are called service failures or in Swedish tjänstefel. Nevertheless, with an effective service recovery process, dissatisfied customers can be turned into satisfied ones.

School can be an effective environment for achieving a more equal health among children and adolescents, since many individuals can be reached by the health promoting work in the school. In the year of 2000 a project in Skåne was started for the development of health promoting schools. The health promoting projects however, have shown to be of short duration. So, as an alternative, the integration of the health in school ought to be tried. The aim of this study is to give examples how health promoting schools can strengthen their profile.

The problem presented in this masters thesis is: How can pedagogical theory be used to illuminate and analyse attitudes of librarians in reading promotion activities for children and young people? The aim is to investigate librarians pedagogical role and attitudes in reading promotion activities for children and young people. The following questions are asked: · How can the pedagogical role of librarians be understood on the basis of different pedagogical perspectives? · How do librarians describe their pedagogical role in reading promotion activities for children and young people? · Is there a relation between pedagogical perspectives and the ways in which reading promotion methods are developed by librarians? Reading promotion methods investigated are booktalk, discussions on reading and summer reading challenges for children and young people. The methods used in the study are literature studies, qualitative interviews and observations.

För att förändra behövs tillgång till kompetenser. Olika verksamheter har olika behov av kompetensutveckling för att nå sina mål. Att finna behov av kompetenser i förhållande till verksamhetens mål, kan vara en början på att rätt kompetens hamnar på rätt plats utifrån de satsningar som görs. En utvärdering kan göras för att utvisa om verksamheten är på rätt väg mot förändring. Uppsatsens syfte är att skapa förståelse för kompetensutvecklingens betydelse för att verksamheten ska kunna förändras.

This study is an institutional analysis of the firm both as it is theoretically conceptualized and how it takes shape and changes. The role of power relations between manage¬ment and employees is especially examined with the aim of evaluating pos¬sible connections between the firm as an institution and power relations within it. Based on a comparison of two cases (two selected periods of the same organization) it asks ?How closely does each case match the conceptual characteristics of the firm??; ?What are the power relations between management and employees in each case??; and finally ?What factors account for the resulting differences??. It is found that there is a negative correlation between employee power and proximity to the firm as a concept.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få djupare förståelse för yrkets pedagogiska aspekter. Uppsatsens grundläggande fråge- ställning lyder: Hur ser studenter och lärare på Lunds Universitets sjukgymnastutbildning på den pedagogiska aspekten i det kliniska arbetet?Undersökningen bygger semistrukturerade intervjuer med två lärare och fem studenter där dessa getts möjlighet att fritt svara på frågor rörande ämnet. Intervjuerna har sedermera analyserats med hjälp av Bubers mellanmänskliga perspektiv och didaktiska teorier rörande patientundervisning.Studien resulterade i dels en ökad förståelse för hur studenter och lärare ser på arbetets pedagogiska aspekterna och dels i ett, av studenterna, uttalat behov av djupare förståelse för hur man agerar gentemot patienten i syfte att undervisa. De intervjuade studenterna saknar nödvändig erfarenhet för att upprätta en väl fungerande didaktisk handlingsrepertoar, vilket leder till att de känner sig vilsna inför kontakten med patienterna.Denna uppsats bekräftar tidigare genomförda studier som säger att de pedagogiska och kommunikativa aspekterna inom yrket är påtagliga och betingar i mångt och mycket kvalitén av behandlingen..

Mellanchefer sitter idag på en position där de är tvungna att förhålla sig till ett stort antal faktorer som påverkar dem i deras arbete. Deras situation passar därför alldeles utmärkt för att undersöka aspekter som har med begreppet handlingsutrymme att göra. Vi har med hjälp av Tetra Pak Dairy & Beverage Systems AB tagit reda på vilka faktorer som påverkar deras mellanchefers handlingsutrymme. Detta gjordes genom att inledningsvis identifiera ett antal övergripande ämnesområden som ansågs påverka handlingsutrymmet i hög grad. Ämnesområdena fick sedan ligga till grund för de kvalitativa intervjuer vi använde oss av för att få in vårt empiriska material.

The purpose of this study was to explore the approach of the personal in residential care homes, legal guardians and Refugee secretaries consider as effective in their efforts to care for and guide unaccompanied boys in the Swedish society. With the help of qualitative method and semi-structured interviews, we have taken note of eleven informants? perspective on what approach they believe to be essential in the work of integration process with unaccompanied boys. We used Empowerment and the Swedish Integration Board´s proposal on indicators of integration as a theoretical base. The results show among other things, that our informants believe the keys to integration in Sweden for the unaccompanied youth are the Swedish language, education and a stable social network.

Root rot is a big hurter and a huge economic problem for the Swedish and European forestry. The severest hurter is Heterobasidion annosum (Fr.) Bref and it occurs as two different species in Sweden. Commonly referred to as the P-type (Heterobasidion annosum s.s. (Fr.) Bref.) and the S-type (Heterobasidion parviporum Niemelä & Korhonen). Therefore a lot of research has been carried out in this topic to find a solution and reduce this problem, one alternative that have shown to be profitable is stump treatment in thinnings.

In 1994 a new Forestry Act was accepted in Sweden. One of the aims of the law is to raise consideration forpreservation of biodiversity. Since the new law got accepted and some time has passed, there now lie someinterest in examining whether the law has been effective towards its purpose. Methods suitable for analysishave been examined during this study. The content of this pilot study is based around five parameters whichcan be used to validate the effects of the new law.

Bringing back the nutrients from the city to the country is becoming increasingly important, as the world?s stores of nutrients get more exhausted. Sewage sludge is an unapplied resource, rich in plant nutrients, which could replace parts of the commercial fertilizers used in Sweden today. Sewage sludge may contain large amounts of pathogens, such as Campylobacter and Salmonella, why use can cause severe spreading of infections, both to animals and humans. These pathogens have the ability to survive for a long time in soil and water and therefore some sort of treatment of the sludge is recommended before use.

Gymnasieskolan står inför förändring och vad jag kommer fördjupa mig i denna uppsats är gymnasieskolans utbildningspolitik och dess påverkan på utbildningens utveckling. Därför finner jag det intressant att titta närmare på hur statens utbildningspolitiska styrning tar sig i uttryck i propositionen och hur den språkliga framställningen påverkar de professionellas handlingsmönster.Min frågeställning i uppsatsen lyder: hur påverkar den utbildningspolitiska diskursen gymnasieskolans utveckling? För att besvara frågeställningen kommer den utbildningspolitiska diskursen friläggas genom en Foucaultinspirerad läsning, diskursanalys av propositionen 2003/04:140 Kunskap och kvalitet ? elva steg för utvecklingen av gymnasieskolan.Styrningens makt- och påverkansprocesser som utbildningspolitiken utgör på de professionella både som enskilda individer och som kollektiv grupp till kropp och själ utövar inflytande på och styr individens sätt att tänka, tala och handla och faktiskt begränsar vad som är möjligt att tänka, tala och handla inom en viss praktik. Vad som gömmer sig bakom välpolerade begrepp såsom kunskap och kvalitet i propositionen handlar om traditionella tankemönster och en ansats till att styra mer. Vi har i denna uppsats valt att titta närmare på mellanchefens arbetssituation, och vad det är som påverkar denna. Mellanchefers arbete är som vi ser det väldigt hårt pressat. De ska dels föra ledningens mål och visioner vidare till medarbetarna. Dessutom ska de även kunna leda det dagliga arbetet på sektionen. Detta innebär en hög arbetsbelastning på grund av många direktrapporterande medarbetare.

The information society creates new demands on the knowledge making individual; besides being literate one has to be information literate. And in the educational society there is an ongoing change from teaching to learning, the focal point being the active student and life long learning. The aim of this dissertation is to within a context of learning and teaching elucidate the relation between user education and subject education by examining what significance the academic libraries user education has for the development of information literacy within students. Some epistemological theories connected with learning is presented as well as aspects of the information search process and of information literacy. Universities and their libraries view of information literacy and the goal of their user education is being focused on in an empirical study.
