This examination paper is about Educational drama and is implemented from a participant oriented perspective. The main purpose of this study is to find out what conceptions and experiences the children actualize when participating in Educational drama exercises. The reason why I choose to write about this subject was because of my own fascination and experiences of participating in drama exercises. On account of my further profession as a teacher, I want this study to take direction in school.The theoretical frame in this examination consists of literature that describes Educational drama as a subject. I also present and discuss some earlier research in this area.

The aim of this study is to establish an understanding of how the concept Educational materials can be interpreted, as well as to investigate how teachers describe their use of Educational materials. The focus of this study is the subject ?Sign Language for the hearing?, at the upper secondary level. We, the authors of this essay, both have a great personal interest in this language. Swedish Sign Language is the sign language mainly used in Sweden.

This essay is built upon the subject of drama. Its purpose was to examine if drama was a good and important Educational method to/for children, and if drama is enhancing childrens self-esteem and self-confidence. By reviewing the results from literature and interviews, my intention was to compare the results, in order to find out what the views of the literature and respondents on drama was.I used qualitative interviewing, to find out what the teachers had to say about drama, and I used literature that was relevant to the purpose of the essay. I took a deeper look at the meaning of Educational drama and pedagogical drama was, and also the meaning of self-esteem and self-confidence, in order to connect it with the results from the literature and the interviews.  After studying the literature and the interviews, I could see coherence, and therefore compile a result.  Both literature and the interviewed teachers considers drama to be a good and important method within the Educational school and that drama positively has got a strengthening effect on childrens self-esteem and self-confidence.

Today, librarians tasks may sometimes take on an Educational aspect, e.g. when designing Educational courses. Our aim with this paper has been to extend our knowledge of peoples learning and learning processes in order to better adapt our Educational courses for different user groups. We have investigated what eight senior citizens wanted to learn about the Internet, and followed seven of them during their course. We have examined how the group experienced a course about Internet use, and how they described their learning and learning processes.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore how Swedish librarians working with Educational matters In Swedish: studiebibliotekarier experience his/her pedagogic work in the context of a public library. My intention was thus to reach an understanding of how they experienced their Educational work. The following questions were asked: 1 How do the librarians experience the physical environment created for their students? 2 How do the librarians experience the co-operation with others involved in their work? 3 How do the librarians experience the formal task that he/she now is given? 4 How do the librarians experience their own pedagogic qualifications regarding the demands that are made upon them by the students? I have interviewed six librarians and incorporated theories on pedagogic roles in an Educational context. I reached the conclusion that these librarians believed the environment to be important for the outcome of the students success with their studies.

A reform of higher education in Sweden in 1993 led to stiffer competitive climate among Educational institutions. The reform meant that Educational institutions now had the opportunity to plan their curriculum autonomously. Prior to the reform Educational planning was restricted to the Swedish government. The new rules spelled a greater opportunity for Educational institutions to profile themselves based on their Educational offerings. The higher degree of competition means that marketing becomes increasingly important when recruiting new students.

The purpose of this study is to find out what the educators idea of Educational documentations in ratio to childrens inclusion and impact in pre-school are, together with the child's own perception of the concepts of documentation. We proceeded from the following issues: What are the significance of Educational work according to the teachers? What is the teachers idea of a childs impact and inclusion in Educational documentation? In what way do the children have influence over, and inclusion in Educational documentation? What are the childrens feelings of the documentations? In order to find answers to our questions, we used qualitative examinations consisting of seven educators and seven children from various pre-schools in Stockholm, and thereby, we have analyzed our results. As our theoretical frame, we used ourselves of Vygotskijs and Säljö's sociocultural perspective that is about "progress and learning", which is achieved by interaction and cooperation in a social context. The result shows that the aim of Educational documentation is to reveal the childs development and learning, and also to involve the parents by putting up documents on the wall.

The purpose of this essay is to study if and how five South African educators work with music as a special pedagogical tool in children's language development. To achieve the purpose of this study, two research questions were created. As method, interviews of a qualitative character were chosen.  The aim of the method is to give the educators the opportunity to think about and use their own experience before answering the questions.The result shows that the South African educators are not using music as a special Educational tool. They rather use music as an everyday Educational tool to promote children's language development. The result indicates that music in Educational activities promotes children?s communication with each other.

This work is about leisure educators' views on Educational quality in large groups of children. School centers will contribute to children's development and learning through meaningful leisure and leisure educators' contribution with a high Educational quality. There are a lot of discussions and writings about growing groups of children. How are the leisure education and its quality affected by increasing children's groups? It sparked my interest and therefore I wanted to examine this more closely how it might look in the leisure activities.The aim of this work was to examine leisure educators' perspective on how the Educational quality is affected by large groups of children and what is considered of leisure educators' as a high Educational quality.To answer my purpose five interviews was made with leisure educators' in different parts of Sweden and also by studying the theoretical foundations and literature for school centers and leisure education.The results of the interviews reveal, among other things, that leisure educators' feel that the large groups of children affects the quality of teaching at many levels.

Background: Officers in the Swedish Armed Forces educates their soldiers in various skills and arenas. The Officers get their Educational training in officer training courses conducted by the Swedish Armed Forces or the Swedish national defence college. The aim of this study was to find out how the cadets, belive that they are formed into educators, their views on the literature being used in the Swedish armed Forsces, and their views on leadership and Educational science.Methods: The data for analysis were collected in spring 2010, by use of a questionnaire among cadets studying the tactical/operational program Ta/Op 07/10 at the Swedish national defence college. The respons rate was 69, 6 %.Results: The majority of the cadets thought that experience was the most important factor in becoming a good educator. Most of the cadets also thought that the literature being used by the Swedish armed forces was good, however, few cadets stated that they will use the material for reflection on their own teaching when working as officers.Conclusions: The Cadets had a positive attitude towards the Educational philosphy and literature being used, but few will use the literature in reflecting on themselves as teachers.

The aim of this masters thesis is to examine how the Educational work of the Swedish public library was regarded in the Swedish library journal Biblioteksbladet at three different periods of the twentieth century, i.e. the thirties, the sixties and the nineties. Using a theoretical framework from the field of professionalization and a methodological framework of hermeneutics, it is shown that the Educational work of the thirties can be described as having a focus on free learning whereas the Educational work of the sixties can be described as having a focus on public utility. The Educational work of the nineties focuses on the information seeking process of the user. It is noted that this development during the century can be understood as a shift of the cognitive authority of the public librarians.

This thesis examines the relationship between recognition of prior learning and the aim to increase social and ethnical diversity in higher education. Recognition of prior learning is a result of Educational politics aiming to broaden social and ethnical recruitment to higher education. By examining if recognition of prior learning rather can, and shall, be seen as part of what Pierre Bourdieu calls Educational social reproduction I try to question whether it fulfils education policy goals or not. My results show that persons responsible for recognition of prior learning rather recognise knowledge from prior Educational institutions than knowledge gained outside the Educational system. Considering this, recognition of prior learning does not quite live up to the aims.

The purpose of this study was to gain understanding of orthodox Christianity in Swedish Educational material. The aim was to compare the presentation of orthodox Christianity towards pupils before the new curriculum and after. With the help of an analytical approach by Bergström and Boreu ?s and the interpretation strategy by Quentin Skinner, I have studied material used in school for the subject religion. I have limited my Educational material in one way.
