Syftet är att undersöka hur pedagoger på en mångkulturell förskola arbetar med den kulturella mångfalden i den dagliga verksamheten. Hur tänker pedagoger och vilket synsätt har de på ett interkulturellt arbetssätt? Hur arbetar pedagoger med den kulturella mångfalden i barngruppen och utifrån barnets individuella förutsättningar? Har miljön utformats och anpassats för att tillgodose den kulturella mångfalden? Den här studien är en fallstudie av kvalitativ karaktär. Som metod användes kvalitativa informella intervjuer och ostrukturerade icke deltagande observationer. För att få en bredare bild av pedagogers interkulturella arbetssätt genomfördes observationer av pedagogers arbetssätt och observationer av miljön på en förskola.

Vi tar vår utgångspunkt i skolans roll som förmedlare av demokratiska värderingar. Vi studerar olika sätt att se på begreppet demokrati och problematiken i relationer mellan demokrati och skolan. Vi använder ett konstruktionistiskt perspektiv, där vi betonar vårt förhållande till forskningsprocessen. Vi betonar även svårigheterna i att särskilja delar i uppsatsen, så som metod, teori och empiri.Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att problematisera relationer kring demokratibegreppet i gymnasieskolan, främst i relationen till betyg.Till empiriproduktionen har vi använt oss av tre samtal med personal på en gymnasieskola i Malmö. Vi har även studerat texter som Lpf 94, Värdegrundsboken och en rad debattartiklar.

Bakgrund: Alzheimers sjukdom förändrar minnet hos den drabbade, detta innebär att de blir beroende av vårdande. Närstående vill oftast inte lämna dem, utan blir deras naturliga vårdare i hemmet. Detta upplevs vara en trygghet för den drabbade, då minnesstörning oftast förvärras av att flytta hemifrån. Oavsett om det handlar om naturlig vård eller professionell vård är den vårdande relationen viktigt då den lindrar lidandet. Problem: Människor drabbade av Alzheimers har svårt att uttrycka sig verbalt, något som kan förhindra att den vårdande relationen uppstår.

The goal with this thesis was to look at various aspects of how teachers and students perceived the use of various texts in the collective teaching context in which they are participants. The purpose with that was to provide insight into aspects of the didactic processes that the texts and the usage of them are part of and demonstrate aspects of both the conditions and the opportunities for teaching conducted within the surveyed education. The essay analysis is based on interviews with four teachers and twelve students in a total of four teaching contexts (within subjects: Swedish and SO/Religion) about texts they worked with during a selected period of work.The essay is based on a theory of Kathleen MacCormick and Torlaug Hoel Lökkengaard where reading and writing are described as both an individual cognitive process and a common cultural process, impossible to completely separate from each other. The students description of their use of the texts show how they are influenced by teachers culture of teaching, in turn, influenced by the curriculum. In relation to Wiksten Folkeryd, af Geijerstam and Edling research on students movability in texts in the Swedish school, the survey shows some of the aspects that enable students to develop a higher level of movability in texts within the subject Swedish.

The purpose of this study is to gain additional knowledge and a greater understanding of pupils experiences of joining a special teaching group.  The study focuses on pupils with special needs and the ambition has been to get a student perspective of how they perceive their education with special support. In addition, the study is concerned with how pupils perceive their special support and whether this has any relevance to their learning, development and future goals.This study is based on Urie Bronfenbrenners theory The ecology of human development. The theoretical perspective highlights the interaction between the pupils and the school environment, which is important for development and learning. The study is based on a qualitative research method in the form of interviews.

Föreliggande uppsats ställer frågan huruvida dramatisk metod kan vara ett verktyg i utsatta individers och gruppers empowermentprocess. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ litteraturgranskning med fokus på en komparativ textanalys av fälten empowermentbaserat socialt arbete och dramatisk metod. Inspiration till analysprocessen har hämtats från grounded theory och ingången i uppsatsarbetet är följaktligen att beteckna som teoriöppen. Materialet som uppsatsen bygger på består av litteratur kring empowermentteorin, kring dramatisk metod och teori samt artiklar som behandlar ämnet drama som verktyg i dagens sociala arbete. Fokus ligger på frågan vad dramatisk metod har att erbjuda utsatta individer och grupper i en empowermentprocess.

Läsförmåga är inte något man tillägnar sig under den första tiden i skolan och sedan behåller livet ut, utan det är något som måste vidareutvecklas genom kontinuerlig läsning under hela skoltiden. Forskning visar att svenska ungdomar generellt läser mer på fritiden än ungdomar i många andra länder, men ändå har många svenska elever svårt att uppnå god läsförmåga. Huvudsyftet med den här undersökningen var att försöka lyfta fram och tolka läsvanor och attityder till läsning och skönlitteratur hos tio elever i år 9. Undersökningen lyfter också fram former av läs- och litteraturundervisning som gynnar läsutvecklingen. För att undersöka situationen genomfördes kvalitativa intervjuer med tio elever i år 9, som alla går i samma klass.

The purpose of this study is to examine the critically raised concern on whether the Liberal party of Sweden, in policies regarding the compulsory school, really represents a liberal policy or if it actually functions more as an ambassador for conservative ideals. An ideology analysis is employed for the purpose of answering the research question, which asks if the party?s changed viewpoint on the compulsory school between the years of 1990 and 2010 could be understood in terms of an ideological alternation. The analysis is carried out by an examination where the party?s policies are linked to common definitions of the two political ideologies, with the assistance of an analytical tool consistent of a series of educational philosophies.

Film is a tool frequently used by teachers, but it is often limited to showing students how historical time periods looked like, or as a way for students to search for historical inaccuracies. The aim of this essay is to study whether it is possible to use two films based on the legend of Robin Hood as a way to teach students how to contextualize gender history. Through the use of film analysis and gender analysis of two different versions of Robin Hood, The adventures of Robin Hood and Robin Hood: Prince of thieves were analyzed. The study has shown that it is indeed possible to use film as a source material for the study of gender history, and that film can tell us a lot about the contemporary view of gender, masculinity and femininity. The didactical analysis concluded that there was no theoretical objection of using film as a source material; however, there are some things that a teacher should be aware of. Although film may be a good way to create a varied study environment and benefit students with reading- and writing disabilities, there is a risk that time-constraints and lack of knowledge of film and its methodology on, behalf of both teachers and students, may make it hard to implement.

The aim of this study was to explore how young students can be taught during their first year of learning English towards the A1 level according to The European Framework of Reference for Languages, and how the students understand their own learning. The study was carried out in two different classes but with the same teacher, who is qualified to teach English to young learners. The result is based on the analysis of a total of twelve observations of English lessons in two classes in school year one and eight group interviews with the students. Recurrent ingredients through all lessons were activities such as listening to teacher talk, watching films or film clips, singing songs and doing rhymes, using drama activities, talking about the meaning of learning English, practicing guessing competence and learning new vocabulary. The teacher consistently talked about and taught different strategies for language learning.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the term "pupils in need of special support" is defined in Swedish central policy documents. The essay is based on a social constructive contribute knowledge about the term?s definition and interpretation with support in a range of scientific texts. The method for achieving the purpose based on qualitative textual analysis of Skollagen 2010:800, Läroplan för grundskolan, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet- Lgr 11, Salamancadeklarationen and analysis of the result of three scientific studies.Neither Skollagen 2010:800 nor Lgr 11 gives a clear definition of the term ?pupils in need of special support?.

This study intends to explain the problem with the implementation of new Swedish accounting rules called K2. The rules are simplifications of the general accounting rules and the purpose is to make it easier for small companies to account. Despite this, few small companies have adopted the rules. This study seeks to explain the weak response to the K2-rules using institutional theory.The research objects of this study are Burger King, McDonald?s and two audits and accountants.

Today, Sonja Åkesson is famous for criticizing society, mostly in a feministic way. But she was not aware of her critical approach until she became successful among her feministic readers in 1960, with poems like ?Äktenskapsfrågan? and ?Självbiografi (replik till Ferlinghetti)?.This essay examines professor Yvonne Hirdman?s theory about women?s inferior position in relation to men?s between 1930-1960 in Sweden.
