Syftet med denna studie är att försöka ta reda på vad ett dramapedagogiskt förhållningssätt är samt att sprida det till andra som arbetar med drama utan att vara utbildade. Dessutom vill författaren hitta tydliga exempel från barnlitteraturen för att konkretisera det abstrakta som ett förhållningssätt innebär.    Frågeställningarna är: Vad är ett dramapedagogiskt förhållningssätt? Hur kan man konkretisera det för att göra det mer gripbart och förståeligt?  Det är en kvalitativ undersökning gjord enligt grounded theory och med tankar från symbolisk interaktionism. Metoden är fokussamtal kombinerat med intervju via e-post. Informanter är dramapedagogutbildarna på Västerbergs folkhögskola samt verksamma dramapedagoger som har genomgått utbildningen.

Since reading difficulties is a growing problem in Society and a problem that hinders Children to take an active part in every day life, I wanted to investigate how the School Library can be an educational resource for students with reading difficulties. Using qualitative interviews, I have gained insight into how three school librarians and two teachers work with Students with reading difficulties at two different Schools.The Respondents feel that they have the Knowledge necessary to work with students with reading difficulties, but Wish they had more Resources in terms of Time and Staff to help Students achieve School Goals even better. There are always new assistive technology for Students with Reading Difficulties, and an important part of the Educational work of the School Library, is to be informed of the Facilities available and how they work. I show, in my Research the importance of cooperation between school libraries and teachers to provide the students with reading difficulties the love of reading and work to promote reading. It is important that the School Librarian is an integral part of the School's Team to take full advantage of every opportunity to help the Reading Impaired Students with Information and finding the right Reading Level.

This thesis is based on two different parts. First a presentation and a brief insight of the most comprehensive picture educational structures/theories and their various branches in Sweden from the post war period. Secondly a presentation of my artistic masters project Fantasy World, where I together with a group of children aged 7-12 freely created an artwork in the form of a world of its own, in sculptural expression. The idea behind the thesis has been to study how the perception of picture education and children?s creation has been in the recent decades and how different picture educational theories looks like and then to compare with the idea behind my project and how it may look in practice..

Secondary schools have for decades debated whether they promote social reproduction which is considered to generate the homogeneous student compositions. The gap between the academic programs and vocational education programs is considered to increase. What in recent years has appeared in research is that the gap is increasing most tend to be in the specific academic program, particularly in science. This paper's intention is to describe the science program at a local level and the pupils who were admitted to the science program autumn 2009 on the basis of an educational sociological perspective. The survey consisted of a census in which all students were given the opportunity to answer a questionnaire.

The aim with this Masters thesis is to examine the professional knowledge of the librarian. The method used is text analysis of a state public investigation, SOU 1969:37, that concerns librarian education. The theoretical starting point is a theory of knowledge thats descended from Aristotle. Three different forms of knowledge are central concepts in the theory: the theoretical, the practical and the ethical. The main issue in this thesis is: In what ways did the investigators look at the librarians knowledge? Was it in a changeable period of time? In that case, what reasons could there be? The conclusion shows that educational political changes were affecting the whole educational sphere at the late 1960:s, and in the beginning of the 1970:s, including library education.

Cache simulator is a tool to increase the understanding of a cache memory. Therefore cache memory simulation is included in the course Computer Engineering IS1200 at the Royal Institution of Technology. The purpose of this project is to develop a cache memory simulator for education. The existing MipsIt and Mips Simulator which is currently used in IS1200 has been the main source of inspiration. This resulted in the development of the cache memory simulator LMSim.

AbstractInformation and information seeking have always been important parts of society. How behavioural patterns of information seeking manifest themselves are partly due to individual prerequisites and partly due to the practice where the seeking of information is conducted.The aim of this study is to investigate a group of newly examined physicians? experiences of information seeking behaviour in their educational practice and in their professional practice. The two practices are related to each other but still very different. This makes it interesting to study whether individuals? information seeking behaviour changes when they move from the educational practice to the professional.The theoretical framework for the current study is a socio-cultural one.

Syftet med följande uppsats är att undersöka och beskriva förutsättningarna för kreativitet i drama- och teaterarbete. I detta inkluderas att undersöka ledarskapets betydelse för de kreativa processerna samt att undersöka förhållandet mellan process- och resultatfokuserat arbete i relation till kreativitet. Metod Uppsatsens syfte har undersökts med hjälp av en intervjubaserad fallstudie av den danska teatergruppen Sort Samvittighed i förbindelse med deras föreställning Hvid Magi. Tre kvalitativa intervjuer är gjorda med tre medlemmar ur Sort Samvittighed: regissören, den musikaliska ledaren och skådespelaren. Utöver fallstudien involverades litteraturstudier om kreativitet, Maslows motivationsteori och dramapedagogisk teori med extra vikt på det konstpedagogiska perspektivet. Resultat Det framgår av resultatet att gruppen Sort Samvittighed värderar kollektivet och medskapandet högt vilket utgör det fundament som de kreativa processerna och föreställningen Hvid Magi utgår ifrån.

Professionalism is essential to anchor the curriculum in daily operations.The study's purpose was to investigate preschool teachers' perception of professionalism and how the implementation of the preschool curriculum in their daily business functions.The study was an interview with four pre-school professionals with the spread in age and experience.

The purpose of the study is to contribute knowledge about the representation of fiction authors who have written in languages other than Swedish in educational school books within the Swedish subject. This is done in relation to the school's promotion of cultural diversity, a globalized world and to the Swedish curriculum. The study is a combination of a qualitative and a quantitative analysis that takes its starting point in six educational books for the courses Swedish 1 and 2. The analysis shows that all study materials include a broad representation of authorships from Europe and the USA. The selection of authors from other parts of the world is, however, limited.

This thesis aimed to study the interaction between an educational technology system and its users and give suggestions for design improvements. The technology system is called EDIT (Educational Development through Information Technology) and has been developed and applied at Linköping University?s Faculty of Health Science. EDIT supports Problem Based Learning and enables scenarios to be presented through the World Wide Web. The study was divided into two parts.

The purpose with this paper is to examine if tertiary education and democracy have an impact on economic growth. In order to decide how democratic the examined countries are the democracy index constructed by The Economist is used. Besides the two central theories the purpose is also to explain why these variables could affect growth and to examine direct and indirect effects. Indirect effects mean that one variable affects another variable which thereafter has an impact on economic growth.34 OECD countries are compared in order to investigate whether education and democracy are strongly correlated with BNP per capita. Therefore a statistical design is used as method.The empirical results suggest that there is significant correlation between democracy and economic growth.

The purpose of this study is to shed light on how teachers on the upper secondary Arts with Music programme use movement in their teaching of music, and how they approach movement as an educational tool, by investigating the following three issues:1. What significance does movement have for teachers on the Arts with Music programme?2. In the following essay I have read the drama Natten är dagens mor (The Night is the Day's Mother) by Lars Norén. My main focus has been on the older brother Georg. By using post structuralist gender theories I have sought answers to the following two questions: How is Georg's masculinity constructed and maintained, when seen from a gender perspective? What power structures arise between Georg's and the other men's masculinities? In my analysis I have approached Georg via three perspectives. First, I have by the help of Judith Butler's theory concerning gender performative actions tried to define the men's gender codes.

I denna forskningsstudie har vi undersökt elever med invandrarbakgrund och deras utveckling av språkflytet. Detta har skett under arbetet med en teateruppsättning. Arbetet handlar om elevernas eventuella framsteg i språkflytet genom arbetet med drama samt de olika integrationsaspekterna som ingick i gruppsammansättningen. Syftet var att undersöka hur språkflytet hos en grupp elever utvecklas. Vad sker i deras språkutveckling då de får möjlighet att integrera mellan grupper, i arbetet med drama? Vi valde att använda oss av aktionsforskning som metod i vår undersökning.
