The findings in this case study are mainly based on material collected during a field trip with a fellow student to Laos in February-March 2005, which was sponsored by Sida through a Minor Field Study scholarship. The original interest was to study a political aid project (Governance and Administrative Reform Project Luang Prabang, GPAR LP) in a country like Laos with very complex preconditions such as one-party polity. In Laos my interest in evaluation of political aid grew mainly because I found out that the two donors in the project, Sida and the UNDP, had reached different conclusions in their respective evaluations of the project.The main interest in this thesis has been to study how donors have evaluated a political aid project. The study shows that Sida and UNDP used, what in the literature usually is referred to as, Conventional evaluation as methodology when they conducted their evaluations of GPAR LP. The study also shows that the main reason for the different points of view that are expressed in the evaluations depend on a lack of dialogue and consensus, regarding for the project crucial concepts, rather than choice of evaluation methodology.

Based on educational science theory and through analyzes of factual texts, the teaching materials was examined to determine how much focus they put on the thematic of religion and science. Background and problem: Financial reports are created for the users as decision support. Stakeholders are often subjects to information asymmetry. Banks represent one of the primary stakeholders and financiers of a company, and place great emphasis on financial reports in their credit assessment process. The question is, however, how useful the financial information actually is. According to previous research, banks consider accounting information as troublesome in some respects, mostly due to accounting choices and judgments.

Syftet var att beskriva erfarenheter från föräldrar med långvarig smärta av hur deras delaktighet i aktiviteter med barnen påverkas. En kvalitativ metod valdes och totalt åtta kvinnor mellan 37-52 år intervjuades. Den kvalitativa innehållsanalysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: ?Barnen får ta ansvar för aktiviteter?,? Deltar utifrån egna förutsättningar?, ?Behov av stöd från andra personer? och ?Behov av att planera aktiviteter?. Resultatet visar att barnen får ta ett stort ansvar för egna aktiviteter och för hushållsaktiviteter.

I syftet att undersöka hur en skatte- och bidragsreform kan tänkas påverka utbudet av arbetskraft för ungdomar, modelleras en Discrete Choice nyttofunktion, där valet av antalet arbetstimmar begränsas till fem olika arbetstimmarsklasser. Modellen tar hänsyn till icke-linjära skatter och icke-konvexa budgetkurvor. I nyttomaximeringen tas även hänsyn till valet av socialbidrag. För att se effekten på ungdomarnas arbetstimmar används mikrosimuleringsmodellen FASIT som innehåller databaser över inkomster, skatte- och transfereringssystem. This bachelor thesis aimed to explore, in a qualitative manner, the relationship and the interaction between the hospital welfare officer and the rest of the nursing staff. We chose this subject because we wanted to explain the phenomena of being a medical outsider in the nursing team. Our questions at issue were the following three: How does the hospital welfare officer define his occupational sphere and how do the rest of the nursing staff define it, according to the welfare officer himself? Is the welfare officer's relation to his own professional role and to the rest of the nursing staff affected by where his office is placed - secluded from or within the clinic? How does the welfare officer himself value his profession in relation to the rest of the nursing crew? To answer these questions we interviewed eight welfare officers, placed in two different hospitals. We used three different theories to explain the primary information.

The objective of this thesis was to get more knowledge before an alternation of generations. In theses I have chose to make two drawings, one for dairy cows and one for cattle rearing. The drawings are made for a future alternation of generations at my parental home in the province Dalarna. The results are made out of educational visits at different farms and literature investigations. Those dairy farms who I visited had different milking system at each farm and the cattle farm I visited had beef production. The farms are placed in the middle and south of Sweden. Syftet med denna undersökning har varit att ta reda på vilket sätt förskollärare använder dans som ett pedagogiskt verktyg med barn i åldern 1-3år. Jag använde mig av en kvalitativ metod och undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av intervjuer av fyra förskollärare som var slumpmässigt utvalda. Därefter drogs det paralleller mellan intervjuernas svar och den valda litteraturen.Resultatet visade att samtliga förskollärare ansåg att dans var mycket viktigt för barnens utveckling. De använde sig av dans på något sätt i sin verksamhet men det var inte alla som ansåg att de använde dansen som ett pedagogiskt verktyg..

The purpose of this study was to examine if women's career was affected by becoming a mother after 35 years old. It was also our intention to discover if it was an intentional or an unintentional choice to postpone giving birth just for the sake of the career. We have read articles that are implying that women´s career possibilities, combined with children, is difficult and of current interest in today's society. Science has shown that it no longer appears to be women's main life objective to give birth but they now also wants a career. We wanted to shed some light on the subject from two different angles, so we looked both from the women's perspective and from the employer's perspective.

Kraven på de anställda har ökat liksom stress och arbetsrelaterad psykisk ohälsa. Arbetspsykologiska stressmodeller förklarar stress utifrån olika antaganden om obalanser mellan t.ex. krav och resurser eller krav och kontroll. Den här studien syftade till att undersöka konkreta upplevelser av arbetsstress hos förskollärare i den kommunala förskolan.

The construction industry accounted for 19 % of all work-related fatalities in Sweden between 2010 and 2013. The exam report has been done to find out what underlying causes there are to the high number of fatalities and to the occupational statistics of the construction industry. Moreover it has been reviewed what improvements can be done to reduce accidents and fatalities in the construction industry. The report consists of a survey of statistics, laws and regulations affecting the work environment and of literature concerning the subject. It has been conducted an interview and a questionnaire survey at the construction company Asplunds Bygg and an interview with an inspector from the Work Environment Authority.

Denna uppsats är skriven med syftet att belysa elevers åsikter inom området pedagogiskt ledarskap i klassrummet. Detta undersöks genom en kvantitativ enkätundersökning besvarad av 107 elever i årskurs 6 i Malmö. Frågeställningen som gav upphov till undersökningen är: Vilken typ av ledarstil föredrar elever och vad påverkar deras motivation i skolarbetet? Vi presenterar vårt resultat i deskriptiv statistik och använder oss av behavioristisk samt humanistisk teori för att analysera våra resultat. Resultatet och slutsatsen visar att eleverna trivs bäst med en humanistisk ledare men finner motivation i de typiska behavioristiska förstärkningarna så som beröm och till viss del bestraffning..
