How do we match our education with the needs of the construction line of business and the requirementsof the Swedish National Agency for education? Is there something that we have to change?In this study I have asked our former students about their opinion of our education and I have also asked them to give me their view on what a good teacher is like. I have been able to benefit a lot from their answers in my efforts to be that good teacher. This survey took place at Facebook.The answers showed that we carry on a piece of solid workmanship. But you can always improve, try harder.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en ökad förståelse för hur en organisation kan arbeta med sin rekryteringsprocess, sitt ledarskap och sin organisationskultur för att främja de fyra ledstjärnorna laganda, handlingskraft, sunt förnuft och kundfokus. Uppsatsen är genomförd på Gekås Ullared AB och inriktar sig på rekrytering, ledarskap och organisationskultur. Data samlades in genom intervjuer och enkäter. Totalt har tio intervjuer utförts samt en enkätundersökning med 142 deltagare. Resultatet i relation till tidigare forskning och teorier visade att utvecklingsmöjligheter finns inom de undersökta områdena, till exempel framtagning av en för Gekås gemensam kompetensmodell, utbildning i transformativt ledarskap samt fortsätta att utveckla en stödjande och öppen organisationskultur..

Many political reforms are currently implemented in the Swedish schools. The trend indicate that education in Sweden follows neo-liberal restructuring policy, that highlights assessment, marketization and surveillance in different aspects. According to the new curriculum LGR 11 the school head is the school's educational leader with responsibility for the school's results and development. The reforms put new demands on the school heads tasks, their responsibility and leadership. The aim of my research study is to investigate how the school heads experience andhandle this situation.

This paper describes what some 9th grade students think of their sex education in school, especially when it comes to gender, sexual identity, norms and deviation. I have been using group interviews in two different schools, two groups per school. The result of the students' answers have been analysed on the basis of queer theory focusing on gender and sexual identity. The result of the study shows that the students consider their sexual education to be lacking, especially when it comes to gender, sexual identity, norms and deviation. Another conclusion of the analysis is that a sex education grounded in queer theory would be more inclusive..

The purpose of this essay is to show the opportunities and difficulties of teaching within distance education. I will show this from two different parts of the world. One being Sweden and the other Australia, both countries run a distance education program with similar reasons students whom travelling, some living hundreds of miles from any schools and some students with health and or social disadvantages. This study is based on the actual teacher?s accounts and experiences the opportunities and difficulties in teaching in distance.

Sjuksköterskeprofessionen innebär att vara ledare i klinisk verksamhet och självständigt ansvara över patientomvårdnad. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva den kliniska sjuksköterskeledarens roll i omvårdnad. Syftet besvarades utifrån två frågeställningar som fokuserade på ledarens önskvärda egenskaper samt hur sjuksköterskans ledarskap påverkar omvårdnad. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturöversikt där sexton vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats analyserades. Resultatet för frågeställning ett visade att en önskvärd ledare har en omfattande kunskap och en förmåga till god kommunikation samt kan stödja och bidra till utveckling.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the kind of support society offer parents, by illuminating some of the parent education programs which are arranged by social services. By interviewing some of those who are involved in these education programs, we tried to figure out what society would like to mediate as good parenting.Our main questions was:* Why are parental education needed in society of today?* What are the purpose of the education?* For whose sake are these educations arranged, for the childrens, the parents or in public interest.* This model which you are using, what would it like to mediate as most important in good parenting.We found that the respondents all agreed that the main purpose of these educations was to improve the relationship between parents and children. Syftet med denna studie är att granska arméofficerares ledarskap i rollen som handledare i den svenska Försvarsmakten. Studien beskriver och karaktäriserar handledarbeteenden i handledarrollen samt vilka ledarstilar som kan observeras i dessa handledarbeteenden. Utifrån dessa beskrivningar, samt intervjupersonernas självbilder av sitt eget ledarskap, är även ett mål med studien att problematisera Försvarsmaktens föreskrivna ledarskapsmodell med stöd av ett nyinstitutionellt och kritiskt perspektiv. Empirin samlades in via observationer tillsammans med kvalitativa intervjuer vilka gjordes i direkt anslutning till observationerna. Resultatet visar att handledarbeteenden kan karaktäriseras på tre huvudsakliga sätt: coachande handledarbeteenden, kontrollerande handledarbeteenden samt handledarbeteenden genom att vara modell. Ledarstilarna i handledarbeteendena bildar en komplex mosaik av både utvecklande och transformativa samt konventionella och transaktionella ledarstilar vilka även visar att de avsedda ledar-stilarna till stor del divergerar från de observerade ledarstilarna.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers in regular classrooms include pupils with special educational needs. I also wanted to find out what support teachers get of special education teachers, and the teaching perspective the teachers have when they work whit pupils. The teachers that have been interviewed and observed in this study work in regular classes. This report is a qualitative study based on interviews and observations whit four teachers. The results indicate that the teachers are conscious of how they teach and their teaching strategies. The teachers agree that all students should be included in regular education, because learning occurs in the interaction between individuals.

This is a qualitative study of how 4 school teachers and 3 special educational teachers define the term ?pupil in need of special education?. They have each one been interviewed about this term, by the means of a semi-structured interview. Afterwards the collected information has been analyzed and seven major themes have been arranged out of them. From these themes it is possible to see that the term is hard to define, since the participants all believe that it should be decided by each individual case, if the pupil is in need of special education or not, and that the education in itself has to be relevant to the need, which means one cannot decide what special educational needs are, without a student who is in need of them.

The purpose of the present paper is to examine the political debate on the education of newly arrived immigrant pupils at secondary school age. The following issues are under scrutiny:What are the goals, expressed by politicians during the examined periods, for the education of newly arrived pupils?What ideas about education and what educational ideals can be observed in the political debate on the education of newly arrived pupils?Has there been any change, during the examined period, in the policy debate on the education of newly arrived pupils?The research material consists of reports and statements of the Education Committee, as well as a number of parliamentary protocols. Two five-year periods, 1971-1975 and 2006-2010, are studied and compared. All in all, the material consists of 23 documents issued during these periods.

Världen idag kännetecknas av att vara en global arbetsplats där landsgränser inte utgör ett hinder för att människor från olika kulturer ska kunna samarbeta med varandra. Vi ser det som intressant att behandla den internationella arbetskontexten utifrån ett ledarskapsperspektiv och se på hur man som chef kan behöva anpassa sitt ledarskap till en ny kultur.Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera hur tre svenska chefers ledarskap fungerar i och har behövt anpassas till en polsk arbetskontext. Utifrån tre svenska och tre polska chefers utsagor undersöker vi hur förberedelserna inför deras uppdrag gått till, vilka kulturella skillnader som cheferna har stött på samt vilka lärdomar de svenska cheferna tar med sig från sitt uppdrag.Uppsatsen är en empirisk studie som ägt rum inom företaget Stena Recycling AB. Metoden har varit kvalitativ och det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre svenska och tre polska chefer.För att ledarskapet för en svensk chef i en polsk arbetskontext ska fungera behövs förmågan att kunna anpassa sitt perspektiv på organisation och ledarskap samt sin människosyn för att kunna hantera den nya situationen. Inför ett internationellt uppdrag är det viktigt att lära sig om den kultur som kännetecknar ens nya arbetsplats.

Syfte och frågeställningarStudien har som ändamål att undersöka synen på ledarskap hos fyra tränare verksamma inom svensk ungdomsfotboll.Vi har använt oss av följande frågeställningar:? Vilken syn har de fyra tränarna på begreppet ledarskap?? Vilka motiv ligger bakom tränarnas ledaruppdrag?? Hur värderar tränarna sin ledaruppgift?MetodStudien bygger på djupintervjuer med fyra ungdomstränare från en av Sveriges största fotbollsföreningar hemmahörande i en av Sveriges största städer. Två av tränarna är verksamma på pojksidan, medan de andra två tränar flicklag. Intervjuerna gjordes med hjälp av digital ljudupptagning. Databearbetningen har gjorts med hjälp av Hersey och Blanchards modell för situationsanpassat ledarskap, för att på så sätt skapa en bild av ungdomsledarskapet inom fotbollen.Resultat och slutsatsVi har i resultatet kommit fram till att tränarna tolkar ledarskap som något regel- och kravstyrt, samtidigt som ledarskapet ses som ett verktyg för skapa inspiration och motivation hos gruppen.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how two students at intermediate level in reading and writing disabilities and two special education teachers perceive the use of assistive tools in school. The questions used to answer the purpose was how assistive tools are used based on students´ perceptions, the purposes for which assistive tools are used based on special education teachers´ perceptions, what opportunities and/or barriers pupils and special education teachers experiences with assistive tools and how it works when assistive tools are implemented based on students´ and special education teachers´ perceptions. Data were collected by interviews. The results show that the assistive tools are mainly used for writing assignments and to ?read-with-ears?, primarily to facilitate the learning process in the classroom.

Today there is a large consensus about the importance of Swedish schools providingconditions enabling students to develop the ability to manage and learn through information technologies (IT). The goal of this study was to describe and examine how national education goals for the use of IT transformed into municipal IT-strategies for the school. A content analysis was conducted of thirty-eight municipal IT-strategies collected from Swedish municipal websites on the Internet. The content in the municipal IT-strategies was compared with the content in both the Swedish education act and the national curriculum. The results showed that the content in the Swedish education act and the national curriculum in fact was translated into municipal IT strategies, but that the range of strategies concerning technology, pedagogy and content in relation to IT was broad.
