The ambition of this study is to examine the discussion surrounding the Swedish participation in the European security- and defence policy. By forming feasible areas of arguments the goal is to gain further comprehension in the case of Sweden. These arguments are formed in close relation to the empirical sources; With less public funding there are economic aspects of cooperation, this could also be related to Swedish the industry of defence systems; A high level of participation in the UN is a tradition in Swedish foreign policy, the European battle groups are the perfect tool to further strengthen the UN ability in conflict management and peace keeping missions; Outside the EMU Sweden could face the political margin, to retain influence a high level of activity ought to occur in the integration process; Finally, the future position of United States and NATO is not clear, Europe needs an capacity apart the US to contribute to lasting peace and stability. This study analyses the economic consequences due to ethanol production in Eastern Sweden. The analyses consider the cooperative and the farmers as one vertically integrated company. The area that found the market in this study is illustrated in figure 1. The analyses assume that all members act jointly with the objective of maximizing joint profits at the farm level as well as at the cooperative firm. A mathematical model is created to calculate the optimal use of arable land.

The work also deals withthe importance of good cooperation between school and home for the children tocome to the school grounds and with the desire to learn and develop. The aim ofthis work is that through a survey get a picture of how parents feel abouttheir child's school situation. But also look at how important interplaybetween school, parents and children to the school situation to be good.

I en akut situation har det genom alla tider varit patienten som står i centrum för vårdpersonalen. Viktigt att tänka på är att det i skuggan finns flera personer som berörs av situationen trots att de inte har någon fysisk skada, vi tänker på patientens närstående. Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva närståendes upplevelser i en akut situation. För att på ett tydligt och beskrivande sätt belysa närståendes upplevelser gjordes en litteraturöversikt med nio kvalitativa artiklar. I resultatet identifierades fyra olika teman: att uppleva ett kaos, att vilja vara nära, att vänta på information och att vilja bli uppmärksammad.

Under 70-talet förändrades det hawaiianska folkets etniska identitet, då en frihetsrörelse uppstod. Det finns anledning att begrunda om identitet och samhällsförändringar har en ömsesidig relation, där förstärkning respektive försvagning av identitet är beroende av samhällsutveckling. Frihetsrörelsens framväxt reflekterar den problematik som hawaiianerna har stött på. Rörelsens mål är att utveckla en stark etnisk identitet bland det hawaiianska folket, genom olika projekt som knyter dem med en utveckling av kulturen. Det utfaller sig relevant att analysera samhällsutveckling visavi identitetens förändring.

This study aims at examining the prospects for a policy transfer of a Swedish municipal environmental policy (that of Växjö) to the French urban commune Blois, for which an ambition of becoming a leading eco-city in France, was declared by the mayor in 2008.In the analysis, emphasis is laid on mechanisms to institutionalize the main environmental policy principles, such as political and institutional structures and processes. Other prospects for an institutionalization of a new environmental policy that are to be investigated are economic structures as well as visions of the different decision-makers concerned. Research methods used in the study are qualitative interviews, document studies and a questionnaire.The findings of the analysis show that today?s prospects for an environmental policy in Blois close to that of Växjö, are clearly limited. The limitations can partly be found in economic structures but these seem to be rather related to a lack of priority amongst actors.

Traditionellt sett har olika kapitalförvaltares prestationer utvärderats enbart genom att man har observerat den avkastning som respektive förvaltare har lyckats erhålla. Sedan ett antal år tillbaka har dock den erhållna avkastningen i allt högre grad ställts i relation till den risk som de aktuella placeringarna är kopplade till. Ett sätt på vilket man kan bestämma den risk som en portfölj har är att uttrycka och mäta risken som Value-at-Risk (VaR), vilket kan definieras som ett mått på den med viss sannolikhet förväntade förlusten från ogynnsamma marknadsrörelser över en definierad tidsperiod. Det finns idag både enklare och mer avancerade metoder för att uppskatta VaR. Tidigare forskning har till stor del koncentrerats till att undersöka hur olika typer av VaR-metoder lyckas uppskatta risken för olika portföljer i förhållande till varandra.

This thesis studied which factors affect political participation among people with physical disabilities in Sweden.? The aim of the study was to test how Civic Voluntarism Model should explain the low political participation among people with physical disabilities in Sweden, through deep interviews.? Following research questions has been studied in the thesis:? How can the Civic Voluntarism Model, based on the time, communicative skills and economic resources, explain the low political participation of people with physical disabilities in Sweden??Which other factors, linked to accessibility, discrimination and legislation, are needed to further explain and understand the barriers to political engagement and participation for people with physical disabilities?? Results about treatment, clearer legislation, economic possibilities and inclusion was central. It became important to considered that where is differences in which capabilities where are to political participation. The CVM could partly explain the low political participation among people with physical disabilities. It needs to be complete with external factors; accessibility, discrimination and legalization, to make more inclusive explanations.? .

This essay takes its start in the problematic situation concerning source material in the study of the Norse religion before the Christianization of Scandinavia. There is a lack of written sources from the time when the religion was still practiced. There are plenty of archeological sources Economic situation than their religious beliefs. The Icelandic stories written in the 13th and 14th centuries give us a broad pictureof the Norse mythology, but the writers were Christians which makes their reliability questionable.The focus of this essay is therefore on two texts written during the time when the Norse religion was still in practice. The first source is the travel notes written in 922 by the Muslim scholar Ahmad ibn Fadlan who met a group of the Rus? people.

The most commonly used phase change in latent heat storage is the transition between solid and liquid. Phase change materials can be divided into organics, inorganics and eutectics.In the Nordic electricity market the price of electricity is set every hour by Nordpool spot, which leads to price fluctuations because of changes in demand. The main goal of this report is to create a latent heat storage system in a single-family home and investigate the possibility to save money by charging the latent heat storage system when the price of electricity is low, and discharge when the price is high.The thermodynamic model consisted of a ?tube-in-tube? heat exchanger with phase change material in the outer tube and water as the heat transfer fluid in the inner tube.

Which parameters affect the groundwater level? 2. How will these parameters change within 100 years considering climate changes and what will be the consequences on the groundwater level. According to SMHI climate analysis the climate can change causing increasing precipitation, temperature, and a rising sea level.

Antalet personer med demenssjukdomar ökar i takt med att befolkningen blir allt äldre och en stor del av vården av personer med demenssjukdom utförs av anhöriga. För att kunna stödja anhörigvårdare är det viktigt att sjuksköterskor har kunskap om hur anhöriga upplever sin situation. Syftet med studien var att beskriva anhörigas upplevelse av att vårda personer med demenssjukdom. För att besvara syftet har en litteraturstudie genomförts där 12 kvalitativa artiklar analyserats. Ur analysen framkom sju teman: Upplevelse av stress, svårigheter och otillräcklighet, Upplevelse av sorg och förlust, Upplevelse av förändrade relationer och roller, Upplevelse av förpliktelse, Upplevelse av välbefinnande, Upplevelse av stöd, samt Upplevelse av att bemästra och skapa mening i sin situation.
