The aim of this study was to examine how state representatives prepared domestic violence, regarding the economic consequences of women exposed to violence. In order to achieve a profound and comprehensive view of the governmental keyfigures discussion we performed five interviews and studied selected governmental preparatory works between the years 1995-2015. We used theory on social construction as an approach and certain themes were more regular in our empirical material, which we compiled in three different discourses. According to our empirical material the economic situation of women exposed to violence is caused by inequality and gender power structure. The solution given by state representatives are referred to the municipality and social services.

    Sammanfattning: Syftet med vår uppsats är att belysa identiteten och den kulturella tillhörigheten hos andra generationens invandrare. Vi vill belysa deras syn i fråga om identitet, integration och omgivning. Kvalitativa intervjuer har utförts för att få svar på våra frågeställningar och tre personer från Malmö samt två personer från Skellefteå och en person från Piteå har ställt upp på denna undersökningen. Dessa intervjuer har sedan analyserats och diskuterats med inspiration av essentialismen, konstruktionismen samt den postkoloniala teoribildningen. Utöver dessa inriktningarna ligger fokus på identitet och identitetsskapande teorier eftersom en stor del av syftet med studien är att belysa hur intervjupersonerna ser på sin identitet.

This thesis examines the impact that the Euoropean Agricultural Policy has had on the tobacco regime during the years from the start of the Common Market Organization for Tobacco in 1970 til the days of today. The Truman method has been employed to estimate the degree of change of trade creation or trade diversion on the domestic market and also on the worldmarket. From these facts an analysis has been made to investigate how and if a new reform of the CMOT will affect the European tobacco market. Through the CMOT, the European Commission has tried to rise the quality level and the prices of raw tobacco growing in Europe. The european market value for tobacco has been rising and a marginal grade of of trade creation within the union and a grade of trade diversion to third countries has been shown since the implementation of the tobacco regime.

Syftet har även varit att undersöka eventuella barriärer för integration. Vår avsikt har även varit att konkretisera tillvägagångssätt för att eventuellt öka integrationen. Metod I denna studie har vi använt oss av ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt. För att uppnå det resultat vi önskat valde vi att göra kortare intervjuer per telefon med experter inom Venture Capital.

Bakgrund: Kaliningrad är den mest västliga ryska regionen som ligger mellan två EU-länder. I takt med den höjda levnadsstandarden och på grund av det gynnsamma geografiska läget ökar svenska företagens intresse för regionen. För att öppna upp regionens ekonomi för direkta investeringar från utlandet introducerades Special Economic Zone. Syftet med SEZ-Kaliningrad var att kompensera regionen för det isolerade läget genom tull- och skattelättnader för varor som tillverkas där. SEZ-insatsen i Kaliningrad har attraherat en del direkta investeringar, men resultaten har hittils inte varit speciellt imponerande.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att genomföra en studie av de skandinaviska företagens erfarenheter av SEZ-Kaliningrad.

I det nutida samhället med allt snabbare förändringsprocesser blir invandrarnas integration svårare att uppnå och identitetsfrågorna svårare att lösa. Mitt syfte med uppsatsen är att förstå varför religiös och kulturell identitet förändras i samband med invandring.Uppsatsen syftar till att ge en djupare förståelse av de kulturkollisioner som invandrare kan råka ut för i sina kontakter med majoritetssamhället.Några frågor som kommer att behandlas är :Varför är det så viktigt för en människa att ha en kultur?Vilken funktion har religionen i ett samhälle och vad betyder det i människors liv?Hur kommer en viss religion till uttryck i olika samhällsgrupper?.

To integrate environmental concerns into non-environmental policy making has become an important policy objective within the European Union. This essay investigates policy instruments in use to achieve environmental policy integration in the EU's transport sector respectively fisheries sector. The point of departure is a theoretical discussion about governance and the use of different policy instruments for environmental management at the EU-level. The focal point is the argumentation that regulatory policy instruments alone cannot achieve environmental policy integration satisfactory. By using Jordan et al's classification of so called "new" environmental policy instruments (market-based instruments, voluntary agreements and ecolabels) as complements to regulatory measures, the essay investigates whether the first-mentioned are used within the two sectors.

Det finns många olika typer av affärssystem på marknaden och företagen har investerat i egna unika IT-lösningar, vilket har medfört att man har låst in sig i den egna tekniska plattformen genom bland annat punkt till punkt- implementationer. För att råda bot mot detta är det då önskvärt att olika system och applikationer ska kunna kommunicera med varandra genom att utbyta data på ett standardiserat sätt. För att uppnå dessa integrationsmål har en tjänsteorienterad arkitektur, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) växt fram. The Swedish security policy has changed from stressing neutrality to embrace co-operation within the EU and other organisations. New threats like terrorism, boarder-crossing criminality and natural disasters require new ways to deal with this type of problems to protect the society. Since the beginning of 21st century the high Russian economic growth has made it possible for the country to play an increasingly role as a superpower on the international political stage. In the same time the democratic development has been replaced by an autocratic rule which has obstructed the Russian- European relations. From a Swedish security policy view the Russian political development is of importance and the picture of Russian as a threat has changed from 1996 to 2008/09.

The shopping mall branch has estimated that the turnover of e-commerce will double within the upcoming ten years (NSCS, 2013). The growth can thus stop for shopping malls and there is a risk that some shopping malls end up being "dead-malls", completely losing their turnover.The thesis starts off with presenting the background for the factors of trade, i.e. e-commerce and shopping malls.This is followed by a presentation of which integration possibilities there are in Sweden today and by examples from the British market. Thereafter follows a section on integration possibilities that shopping malls can use in order to integrate e-commerce instead of regarding it as a threat. This can be done in several ways, e.g.

The efficacy of screening for breast cancer with mammography has been a subject of controversy during the last decades. However, the general opinion is now that screening reduces mortality in breast cancer (Zackrisson, 2006). It is nevertheless important to weigh the efficacy against the harm and costs associated with screening. Cost-utility and cost-effectiveness analysis of screening have generally failed to incorporate side effects such as anxiety and discomfort related to screening tests and the following diagnostic tests (Gyrd-Hansen, 2000). This study seeks to include such side effects in a cost-utility analysis.

Vårt syfte är att ta reda på mer om vad som påverkar fonders avkastning och om detta skiljer sig åt i ekonomisk uppgångs- respektive nedgångsperiod. För att uppfylla vårt syfte har vi valt att genomföra regressionsanalys med avkastning som beroende variabel och variablerna: standardavvikelse, beta, storlek, TKA och omsättningshastighet som förklarande variabler. Detta har genomförts i en ekonomisk uppgångs- och en ekonomisk nedgångsperiod. Vi har använt portföljvalsteori med dess ingående variabler avkastning och risk. Även begrepp som kovarians, korrelation, effektiva fronten, mean variance, CAPM och beta gås igenom.

Rapporten syftar till att belysa och analysera den svenska lagstiftningen som har kommit kallas lärarundantaget ur ett mikroekonomiskt perspektiv. Lagtexten reglerar patenträttigheter främst mellan enskilda forskare och högskolor. Syftet med analysen är att kommentera eventuella ekonomiska effekter på utformningen av system för ersättning och dess effekter på incitament att bedriva forskning. The increased popularity of e-books in the Swedish publiclibraries started a debate in newspapers and library journalsbecause of the increase in costs, which this popularity hadled to. The main subject of the debate was the businessmodel provided by the e-book vendor Elib, which accordingto some ruins the libraries financially. In this thesis, opinionarticles have been analyzed using a theoretical model ofcultural politics by the Danish Library and Informationscience researcher Dorthe Skot-Hansen. The results of thestudy showed that people from the library field, publishersand authors were the ones contributing to the debate. Theanalysis of the articles showed that the model of culturalpolitics which consists of four general motives: socialchange, education, economic growth and entertainment wasvisible in the articles.

This essay is a comparative empirical study of ethnic integration mainly of the Russian-speaking minorities in the three Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) in a post-communism setting. As Lithuania has a Polish minority that is as large as the Russian-speaking, they too shall be included in the study but not as thoroughly as the Russian-speaking minority. Thus the problem is: to what degree are the ethnic minorities integrated with the titular nations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania? In order to study ethnic integration I have set up a theoretical framework largely based on Weiner?s theory of integration. The theoretical framework focuses on three dimensions: Citizenship, Identity and Segregation.
