Varians Riskpremium
Prediktionen av aktieprisutvecklingen har alltid legat i intresse för den finansiella marknadens aktörer. Flera studier har frambringat värdefulla prediktorer för aktieprisutvecklingen. Som en relativt ny prediktor av aktieprisutvecklingen har varians riskpremium rönt uppmärksamhet i forskningsvärlden. Varians riskpremium har i studier visat sig vara träffsäkrare i prognostiseringen av aktieprisutvecklingen än de traditionella prediktorerna som P/E (price over earnings ratio), CAY (consumption wealth ratio) och dividend yield. Varians riskpremium kan även betraktas som ett mått på marknadsimplicerad riskaversion med negativ korrelation till BNP-tillväxttakten.
Studenters förhållande till etik och moral vid köp : CSR vid konsumtion
The purpose of this essay is to analyse and understand how students, as consumers, choose brands from the aspects of the concept of CSR, the economic, social and environmental. The essay is based on a qualitative method with three focus groups, with five respondents in each of them. The respondents are all studying at Kalmar University and they have all studied some kind of economic-course. We have used a lot of different sources for our theory chapter, this because of the fact that we wanted to have different angles, so that we would be able to cover all of the questions we wanted to discuss in the focus groups. In our two final chapters we discuss the issues similar to the theory section and we highlight our own thoughts.
Språklig variation i svenskundervisning : En studie om hur språklig variation, dialekter och sociolekter behandlas i Svenska 1 av utvalda lärare och läroböcker.
The aim of this study is to look at the way four teachers in, and five workbooks for, the course Svenska 1/A+B in upper-secondary schools include language varieties in their content. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative analyzes of the workbooks, where words and content are examined, and also interviews with the teachers who presents how they work with language varieties in their education. The results show that language varieties are accepted in school-education at the same time as they are, and have been, alienated in a way. The results also show that language varieties are less prioritized than other areas of education in the same subject..
Inflation: Ger kointegration bättre prognoser?
Titel: Inflation: Ger kointegration bättre prognoser Ämne/Kurs: NEK691, Examensarbete C, 10 poäng Författare: Kristofer Månsson Handledare: Thomas Elger Nyckelord: Inflationsprognoser, indirekt metod, kvantitetsteori, kointegration Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om eventuell kointegration mellan inflation och penningmängd ger bättre inflationsprognoser. Metod: Jag använder mig av svensk kvartalsdata för inflation och penningmängd (mätt som M0 och M3) mellan 1993:1 och 2005:4, för att se om modeller med en felkorrigeringsterm ger bättre prognoser än VAR-modeller, AR-modeller och RW-modeller. Jag prognostiserar med indirekt metod och använder tre olika prognoshorisonter, t+1, t+4 och t+8. Slutsats: Kointegration ger inte bättre prognoser oavsett prognoshorisont. För t+1 är AR-modellen bäst och för t+4 och t+8 är VAR-modellerna bäst.
Sommarhögskolans verksamhet : Ur ett learning-by-doing och elevperspektiv
This paper is written to take a close look at teaching methods used at the Summer Academy (SHS), which is held at Södertörns Högskola in Stockholm. SHS is a subdivision of the institution of teaching education, which annually, during summertime, offers an eight-day program for pupils between 13-15 years of age, from different schools located in socio-economically disadvantaged suburbs of Stockholm. The intention of SHS is to give the participating pupils an insight into higher education, especially that of university. The purpose of the activities, such as field trips, guided tours and corporate visits, is to make pupils aware of their own responsibility for their educational situation through different methods of knowledge transfer, to diversify the means of the education, and to bring awareness to the array of possibilities which they have access to within the Swedish system of tertiary education.The study is based on six deep-interviews, three with pupils and three with student mentors. Together with 131 surveys from the course given during the summer of 2014, and theories of John Dewey on ?Learning-by-doing?, the results show that pupils participation in SHS give them a better understanding for, and knowledge about their own educational responsibility.Another question this paper seeks to address is how significantly the SHS program is changing the pupil?s experience of education in general and their view upon higher education specifically.
När teori möter praktik : En granskning av styrdokument samt lärares upplevda kompetens i ämnet Idrott och hälsa
The aim of this study was to investigate how the content of the syllabus for Physical Education and Health at Uppsala University correlates to selected parts of the core content of the Gy11 syllabus for Physical Education and Health 1 in Upper Secondary School. Furthermore we aimed to investigate the perceived competency of recently graduated and still studying teachers of Physical Education and Health within the selected parts of the core content.The selected parts of the core content are:Exercise, sports and outdoor activities that develop a comprehensive physical abilityThe adjustment of tension and mental training.The methods used were a qualitative comparative text analysis of the syllabuses for Physical Education and Health at Uppsala University and Gy11 Physical Education and Health 1 in Upper Secondary School, as well as a quantitative survey conducted with recently graduated and still studying teachers of Physical Education and Health.The results were that there is an obvious correlation between the content of the syllabus for Physical Education and Health at Uppsala University and the Gy11 syllabus for Physical Education and Health 1 in Upper Secondary School. Moreover the survey shows that the respondents felt confidence in their ability to teach exercise, sports and outdoor activities that develop a comprehensive physical ability. The survey also shows that the respondents felt less confidence in their ability to teach the adjustment of tension and mental training..
Lärares förhållningssätt till demokratisk undervisning och sin egen maktposition i undervisningsarbetet
The aim of this paper is to examine how teachers experience their possibilities to develop democratic teaching in high school and how they reflect upon their position of power within the teaching situation. Four professional high school teachers have been interviewed for the study. The theoretical perspective of the study is an intersectional view on power and a view on democratic teaching which is partly built on the high school curriculum, but mainly defined by deliberative conversations, anti-oppressive education and norm-critical education. The result of the study is focused on three themes, which were shown in the analysis of the interviews. These themes are: choices of teaching content, authority of the teacher and democratic teaching.
Frukt och grönt - En uppsats om handelseffekterna av ett EU-inträde
Avsikten med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka handelseffekter Sveriges inträde i EU 1994 har medfört på handeln av frukt och grönsaker. Vi har även undersökt hur inträdet har påverkat handeln med tredje land. Med hjälp av Trumans metod har vi analyserat frukt och grönsaker på aggregerad samt disaggregerad nivå. Analyserna samt diskussionerna som förs i uppsatsen utgår ifrån handelsomfördelning och handelsalstring, vilka är de två handelseffekter metodens sex olika utfall påvisar. Då vi studerade en tullunions uppkomst och dess konsekvenser på handeln förväntade vi oss en handelsalstring inom unionen samt en handelsomfördelning gentemot tredje land.

The economic conditions for Swedish dairy farmers are constantly changing. The numbers of
producers are declining and the economic conditions for dairy production are weakening
debilitating. To improve the economic situation for a farm a hired contractor is a possible solution since previous studies show that machinery cooperation may be beneficial for the farmers.
The aim of this study is to examine the possibility for farmers to cut costs by hiring a
contractor for harvesting silage. A comparison between using own machinery and hire a
contractor is the starting point of this study. Another aim is to discuss the farmer?s decision process when achieving today?s situation and to determinate what factors affect their decisions.
The study is based on cases selected from four farms that today have chosen not to or only to some extent, hire a contractor for harvesting silage.

Within special education, there is a big dilemma where some mean that school should include all pupils in the same school class, regardless of the students' needs for assistance, while others believe that students with special needs to be placed in small adapted groups where students have similar needs is to exclude pupils. While others argue that the inclusion can sometimes lead to exclusion. The aim is to investigate what meaning teachers and special education teachers gives the concept of inclusion in school and what consequences it entails in teaching. This study is based on a number of qualitative interviews of teachers and specialist teachers to obtain answer of the following questions.Has the concept of inclusion and integration the same significance and meaning according to those asked teachers, special educators and special educators?Which students should be included, according to those asked teachers, special teachers and special teachers?What is required to work from an inclusive perspective, according to the asked teachers, special teachers and special teachers?Perceive the asked teacher, special educators and special teachers some disadvantages of inclusion?Which students receive special education instruction in the schools were asked?Do the asked teacher, special educators and special teachers think that there is a school for all?The results of this study is that teachers and special instructors have difficulty indistinguishing the concepts and that they puts the same emphasis on inclusion as the integration, the students must adapt to school and not vice versa.

How do we match our education with the needs of the construction line of business and the requirementsof the Swedish National Agency for education? Is there something that we have to change?In this study I have asked our former students about their opinion of our education and I have also asked them to give me their view on what a good teacher is like. I have been able to benefit a lot from their answers in my efforts to be that good teacher. This survey took place at Facebook.The answers showed that we carry on a piece of solid workmanship. But you can always improve, try harder.

Att bilda till frihet : En studie av folkbildningens ideologiska påverkan och utveckling 1990-2012
During the last two decades, the elementary, - secondary-, and upper secondary schools of especially Europe and USA have gone through a change. From being formed in the post war time and, in Europe, very influenced by the ideas of social democracy, the school today has more and more come under the influences of neo liberalism, entrepreneurship and the political and economical situations during the late 1980´s.This undergraduate work brings up the changed discourses of education and knowledge in relation to the traditional free school system for adults in Sweden, the popular education, and especially in relation to folk high schools (folkhögskolor). By using, first and foremost, the idea of Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis (CDA) the rules and documents concerning the folk high schools are analyzed. The purpose of the paper is to identify and recognize the movement in the discourse to reach an understanding about the political situation for folk high schools in Sweden. In the end you can see that it is possible to define a similar development in discourse surrounding the popular education, as has been in the case with the elementary, - secondary-, and upper secondary schools..
Handels- och fördelningseffekter av EU:s jordbrukspolitik
EU:s jordbrukspolitik och dess effekter på unionens och omvärldens invånare är ett ämne som ofta väcker debatt. När man studerar effekterna på medlemsländerna skiljer man ofta mellan budgeteffekter och handelseffekter där det förstnämnda är mer frekvent förekommande både i media och som föremål för studier. Jag har valt att studera handelseffekterna som uppstår tillföljd av att EU skyddar unionens jordbruksproduktion från konkurrens utifrån.Medlemsländerna påverkas olika beroende på hur situationen inom jordbruket och handeln med jordbruksprodukter är i landet. Mitt syfte är att se vilka av medlemsländerna som vinner respektive förlorar på hur EU:s jordbruksprogram är utformat idag. I min analys använder jag data från tidsperioden 1995-2004 och jag har valt att arbeta med produktgrupperna spannmål, kött och frukt och grönsaker.

A reform of higher education in Sweden in 1993 led to stiffer competitive climate among educational institutions. The reform meant that educational institutions now had the opportunity to plan their curriculum autonomously. Prior to the reform educational planning was restricted to the Swedish government. The new rules spelled a greater opportunity for educational institutions to profile themselves based on their educational offerings. The higher degree of competition means that marketing becomes increasingly important when recruiting new students.
