This report presents the results of the tests of data rate and signal strength that I have conducted. The tests have been performed in the municipality of Arvidsjaur, Sweden. The report also contains the conclusions I have drawn from the results as well as an introduction to radio and the technology used in the nets that have been testedThe equipment used is:LG G2 cellphone used to test Telias 3GHuawei b593s-22 3G/4G router used to test Tele2s 3G/4GMobile Broadband Gateway R-90 used to test Net1s CDMAThe data rate has been tested with bredbandskollen (www.bredbandskollen.se). The signal strength(RSSI) has been read in the configuration menu of the broadband routers as well as in the cellphone.The conclussions drawn:Net1s net appears to be more used compared to its capacity than the other netsTele2s net has a high and even data rate where it?s signal strength is sufficient.

De stenbundna skeppen i tra?dens skugga : En studie kring skeppsformade monument fra?n yngre bronsa?lder pa? O?land

Ship formed monuments from the Late Bronze Age on the island of O?land, southeast Sweden, have never been thoroughly dealt with in previous research, despite the fact that the region is suggested to have had a key-role in maritime trade networks. This thesis aims to address the ship formed monuments on O?land in relationship to the monuments in northern Sma?land and the island of Gotland. My goal is to discuss how the ship symbolism was practised during the Late Bronze Age in Scandinavia from a new perspective.

Locally valued habitats, species and sites and their significance for collaborative land use planning around Manusela National Park, Central Seram Island, Moluccas, Indonesia

When new land use policies are made, opinions of stakeholders need to be taken in account, to avoid future conflicts. The motivations of commercial enterprises are often clear and easily communicated but due to inaccessibility and language barriers the indigenous people?s perspectives and needs are harder to reveal. This study therefore aims to identify species and sites of importance for the local people in Masihulan village on Seram Island, East Indonesia. This is a first step to facilitate better integration of local people´s needs into local government decision-making processes.Researchers at the Center of International Forestry Research (CIFOR), with headquarter in Indonesia, have developed an approached called ?Multidisciplinary Landscape Assessment? that aims to assess important natural resources for local communities in tropical countries.

Audiologisk rehabilitering : En litteratur- och enkätstudie i Danmark, Norge, Sverige och på Island

Audiologisk rehabilitering är en komplicerad process som ska innehålla olika insatser byggda på ett holistisk synsätt med medicinska, tekniska och beteendevetenskapliga aspekter involverade. Historiskt har dock den tekniska och medicinska delen ofta fått ta större plats än psykosociala bitar i rehabiliteringen.Syftet med studien var att undersöka likheter och skillnader angående audiologisk rehabilitering utifrån ramverket, ideologin samt praktiken i Danmark, Norge, Sverige och på Island.Metod: För att kunna uppnå syftet och få en mer helhetlig inblick i ämnet delades studien i två delar (litteraturstudie och enkätstudie). Litteraturstudien berörde ramverket i samtliga länder samt ideologin. Enkätstudien berörde praktiken i form av audionomens egen syn på audiologisk rehabilitering samt deras uppfattning av tillvägagångssättet på arbetsplatsen.Resultat: En röd tråd går genom ramverket, ideologin och praktiken i varje land. Vad gäller dessa huvudpunkter visade studien att det fanns både likheter och skillnader länderna emellan.

To Swedes in general and, to hunters in particular, there is a great interest for moose (Alces alces), witch is Sweden?s largest deer species. In the province of Öland (Sweden?s second largest island) the local people show a great interest for the moose existence, both for consumptive (hunting) and non-consumptive use (tourism). This became apparent in 2002 when the moose hunters on Öland voluntary agreed to temporarily postpone the moose hunt on the island.

This has affected the competition between destinations; they are now competing in a global market. The importance of placemarketing and representing a place identity, is today essential to attract customers from around the world. The purpose of this essay was to examine how Iceland as a place is represented through the photographs in horse tourism. The research questions asked were: How is the Icelandic landscape represented in photographs? How is people and horses represented in the landscape? And how can the horse be analysed as a part of the Icelandic landscape? The method used for research was image-analysis, a qualitative approach where horse tourism-websites and photographs on these websites were strategically selected.

Denna uppsats handlar om hur isländska ortnamn återges i svenskatexter. Särskilt fokus har lagts på de svenska exonymerna ?ortnamnsformer som till sin skriftbild avviker från de lokala ortnamnen,endonymerna, på fler sätt än enbart genom annorlunda bruk avdiakritiska tecken och/eller utbyte av de för svenskan främmandebokstäverna ð, þ och æ. Ortnamnsformer som är identiska medendonymerna sånär som på bruket av diakritiska tecken och/elleråtergivandet av de tre ovan nämnda isländska grafemen kallar jagpseudo-endonymer.Som empiriskt material har isländska ortnamn ur arton verk frångenrerna sagaöversättningar, nutida romaner och resehandböckersammanställts och analyserats. Även isländska geografiska namn iNationalencyklopedin, som har kallats det närmaste svenskan har enrikslikare för formval och stavning av utländska ortnamn, har tagits medi studien.Variationen i ortnamnsbruket inom och mellan genrerna är stor.Generellt sett är försvenskningar av ortnamnen vanligare isagaöversättningarna medan de isländska endonymerna oftare används iöversättningar av modern skönlitteratur.

Högtider och traditioner i förskolan : en kvalitativ studie om fem förskollärares beskrivningar och reflektioner kring firandet av högtider och traditoner i förskolan

This study is about the work around festivals and traditions that takes place in multicultural preschools. The purpose of this study is to describe and reflect upon the work around festivals and traditions in multicultural preschools from the view of five preschool teachers who are active in their profession.  The purpose is also to investigate which festivals and traditions that are given attention at preschool and for what reason according to the preschool teachers.The method of research chosen in this study is qualitative in the form of individual interviews with the intention of obtaining and interpreting the descriptions and reflections of the informants around the subject. The results will be analyzed from an intercultural perspective.The results show that all investigated preschools celebrate the traditional Swedish festivals Christmas, St. Lucia?s day, Easter and Midsummer, and that these festivals take up lots of space in terms of time and labor.

Arbetet behandlar isländsk bibliotekshistoria, som tog sin början då den första läseföreningen bildades 1790. Målet var att köpa böcker kollektivt för cirkulation. Under 1800-talet växte läseföreningar upp för "vanligt folk" över hela Island. Amtsbiblioteket i Akureyri, 1827, grundades på danskt initiativ. Pliktleveranslag kom 1886, som omfattade Amtsbiblioteken och Nationalbiblioteket i Reykjavik.
