Cycle time has a direct influence on number of returnable crates needed and therefore a crucial parameter for cost structure and pricing of the user fec in the pool system.For providing the growing market, number of crates has to increase as well as the utilization of existing crates. To accomplish this aim, cycle time for the whole supply chain has to be fully unravelled and understand.The purpose is to map cycle time and stock movements, to see how, where and when crates are being used in the supply chain. The goal is to make a method of cycle time calculation, together with suggestions of improving the pool system and decrease cycle time.The study has been a combination of qualitative and quantitative research and comprises the three biggest wholesalers in Sweden; ICA, Coop and Axfood. Furthermore have 65 grocery shops, connected to the wholesalers, been investigated and mapped.The study has come to a conclusion that cycle time for an average returnable crate is 19 days. The full-size and half-size crates have a bit longer cycle time, 21-22 days, while Dual Height-crates and shallow haif-size crates have 17-18 days.

Inom offentlig sektor blir det allt viktigare med marknadsföring och varumärkesbyggande. Viktiga kommunikationsfrågor handlar om att informationsspridning har en stor roll i hur pass bra en kommun kan uppfylla kraven från invånarna. För att uppfylla kraven kan kommunens förvaltningar samarbeta i frågan om information, kommunikation och marknadsföring valet av kanal för dessa är en viktig del. Syftet med uppsatsen blir därmed att ge rekommendationer för kommunikation, information och marknadsföring till Emmaboda kommun. Rekommendationerna ska ge marknadsgruppen för Emmaboda kommun en bild av vilka kanaler som är mest lämpliga att använda i arbetet kring informationsspridning.

In fisheries, there is a long tradition to use catch data when evaluating changes in the stock and effects from harvesting. It is a common practice to use Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE) as an index of population size, and several studies have investigated the properties of CPUE in relation to population abundance, spatial distribution and efficiency of gear. In research, catch rate on trap-transects is used as an index of abundance for wildlife species but CPUE is rarely applied as a tool in harvest management.In 1993, more than 60 000 km2 of the state managed mountain range in Sweden was opened to the public for small game hunting, under the responsibility of the county administrative boards in Jämtland, Västerbotten and Norrbotten. The total area is now divided into 332 hunting units (median=73 km2) and an internet based system is used to administer licences and reporting bag statistic. Each hunter has to register the results within two weeks after the hunt.

Syftet med studien var att genom en kvalitativ metod i form av fokusgruppsintervju undersöka högstadielärares upplevelser av elevers möjlighet till att förändra deras självförmåga (SE). Samt om lärarna bedömer att de genom sitt agerande kan påverka elevers SE. Som teoretiskt ramverk har Banduras (1986) teori om självförmåga använts. Resultaten visade att eleverna kunde både stötta och sänka varandras SE. Feedbackens utformning var stor påverkansfaktor för elevers SE samt hur den förmedlades.

Corporate Social Responsibility has been defined as the responsibility towards stakeholders and the society in whole and the expression was founded in the 1950´s. Reporting in corporate social responsibility has been termed corporate social disclosure and has been divided into three areas: environment, ethics and human resources. The aim of this study is to explain variations in corporate social disclosure and the different media used by corporations to communicate these disclosures. A survey was conducted, which included all Swedish corporations listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, and all public-owned corporations. The results show that corporate characteristics such as size, industry and profitability can explain some of the variation in social disclosures and also have an effect on the extent and variation of the media used.

Marknaden för sökmotorer växer och förutspås under 2006 att öka med 41 % till en mångmiljardindustri. Informationsmängden är i nuläget så pass stor att en enskild sökmotor inte kan indexera allt. Detta medför att behovet av specialiserade sökmotorer ökar. Vi föreslår i denna uppsats en specialiserad sökmotor för att hitta information med anknytning till en viss geografisk position. Vi kontaktade företag inom två branscher för att undersöka vilka framgångsfaktorer som skulle öka företagens acceptans av detta verktyg.

The aim of our master thesis is to study the way valuation of real estate is conducted by real estate companies. Furthermore we want to identify the factors that affect the relevance and reliability of the valuation. The reason for this is the introduction of IFRS, in 2005, and the application of the IAS 40 rules stating that real estate are to be recognized at fair value on the balance sheet. To do this we have performed a case study on 10 Swedish real estate compa-nies listed on the Stockholm stock exchange, OMX, Large Cap and Mid Cap list to see how the share value has performed in relation to the reported net asset value since 2005 and how they value their collection of properties. We also studied the assumptions made by real estate company analysts.

During recent years, financial innovation has given rise to numerous structured investment opportunities aimed towards the general public. These have enabled private investors to engage in high-risk investments offering as much as 400 per cent leverage while oftentimes not fully having grasped the risk involved. The issuers of these securities have been criticized for using advertising of a too aggressive and misleading nature.By presenting 819 potential investors with two different investment opportunities yielding the same return over a six day period, we have aimed to assess whether the inclination of being affected by judegmental heuristics varies with factors such as knowledge, overall attitude towards the asset class, risk appetite and experience from previous investments.We have observed that investors' perception of the attractiveness of an investment can be distorted by altering the information presented to the investor. However, our findings show that this tendency decreases with an increased level of knowledge, experience and risk appetite..

Because of the increasing trends in energy consumption and increased environmental awareness, greater focus has been placed on improvement and development of renewable energy sources. An already proven and accepted method is biogas production from anaerobic digestion at municipal wastewater treatment plants.In the waste water treatment process solid material and dissolved pollutants are separated from the water, forming a sludge. The sludge is separated from the process and stabilized during anaerobic digestion or aerobic aeration. Most often, mesophilic anaerobic digestion is used. Because of degradation by microorganisms, biogas with a high content of methane is formed during the digestion.

The first of January 2005 all companies listed on a stock exchange within the European Unionhad to implement International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS) in their annual report.But is this regulation for the good or worse and does the benefits outweigh the cost? The goalwith the regulation is to make it easier for investors, shareholders and other stakeholders tomake financial decisions, compare domestic as well as international companies at the samecondition. One of the differences with the introduction of the new regulation is IFRS 3 thathandles business combination and how goodwill and intangible assets from the acquiredcompany should be accounted for. The objectives of our dissertation is to identify those listedcompanies that have made one or more acquisition between the years 2005 to 2006 andmeasure their level of disclosure concerning goodwill and intangible assets through theacquisition. We concluded trough the results that positive accounting theory and systemorientated theory didn?t explain all the verities in the companies? disclosures.

Den pågående skuldkrisen i Europa, och den därav föranledda starka tendensen till värdeminskning av olika placeringar i finansiella instrument, har gett frågan om effektiviteten i konsumentskyddet vid finansiell rådgivning förnyad aktualitet. I svensk media har på senare tid stark kritik riktats mot såväl utformningen av det regelverk som är avsett att skydda konsumenter vid sådan rådgivning, som dess påstått otillräckliga praktiska genomslag. Den låga andelen konsumenter som får gehör för sina klagomål angående finansiell rådgivning i allmänna reklamationsnämnden, samt den omständigheten att lagen om finansiell rådgivning (2003:862) aldrig blivit föremål för prövning i Högsta Domstolen, kan möjligtvis vara symptom på att systemet för konsumentskydd på detta område är behäftat med vissa brister. En närmare studie av det preventiva och reparativa konsumentskydd som lagen om finansiell rådgivning tillhandahåller ger vid handen att det torde finnas en viss sanningshalt i de anmärkningar som framförts i media. Ett flertal svagheter existerar både i de regler som skall minimera risken för förekomst av vårdslös finansiell rådgivning till konsumenter, och i de regler som tar sikte på konsumentens möjligheter att erhålla kompensation för ekonomisk skada som orsakats genom oaktsamt utförande av rådgivningsuppdraget.

New laws and recommendations within corporate governance during the last years have affected the way board of directors work. The board is said to have and fulfill three roles: a control role, a service role and a strategy role. These roles could be understood by three theoretical theories: the agency theory, the resource dependence theory and the stewardship theory. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether, and if so how, the board work differs between two small firms based on these roles, given that one of the firms is a publicly listed firm and the other is a privately owned firm. Using a qualitative case study as research method we find that the board work differs between the two companies when it comes to these roles.

Den 1 juli 2007 infördes en ny lag till byggbranschen som innebär att handel av byggtjänster numera ska behandlas med omvänd skattskyldighet. Därav ska inte längre säljare av byggtjänster redovisa moms på sina utgående fakturor utan säljaren ska redovisa både in- och utgående moms. Orsaken bakom laginförandet är den mängd momsfusk som uppmärksammats där säljare av byggtjänster fått inbetalt moms för sina tjänster men inte redovisat den vidare till Skatteverket utan behållt den i egen ficka. Vår uppsats har beskrivit de olika positiva respektive negativa följder laginförandet har medfört..

Studiens syfte är att studera utbytesstudenters rumsliga relation till fem utvalda besöksattraktioner med tyngdvikt på vad för sorts tankar, känslor, värderingar och mening som dessa genererar. Vi har genomfört sex stycken kvalitativa enskilda intervjuer samt en fokusgruppintervju med utbytesstudenter, där fotografier på fem uppvisade besöksattraktioner i Stockholm har presenteras. Dessa besöksattraktioner var Stadshuset, Ericsson Globe/Skyview, Kungliga Slottet, Vasamuseet samt Gröna Lund. Våra underliggande frågeställningar har behandlat besöksattraktionernas fysiska utformning, vad dessa representerar samt vad utbytesstudenterna finner om dess geografiska placering i förhållande till hur staden är utformad. Den teoretiska genomgången behandlar platsens och rummets dimensioner samt semiotik.
