In today?s society, people often find themselves in situations where they need to be identified;for example when we buy alcohol, need to use an ATM or log on to our E-mail account. The most common methods today that are used for these kinds of matters are antiquated, and inthe meantime, criminals all over the world get more sophisticated. Companies invest billions every day in order to protect their interests. Maybe it?s time that we finally give biometrics theattention that it deserves.This essay aims to describe the biometric methods that are available today, find some of the most effective when it comes to physical access and make a comparison.

Det övergripande syftet med denna undersökning var att studera dans som verktyg för lärande. Studien fokuserar på dansens betydelse för lärandet i matematik samt lärares och elevers uppfattningar om dansmatte. I studien har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med elever, dans- och matematiklärare som arbetar med dansmatte samt läst relevant litteratur som rör matematik och lärande, estetiska lärprocesser och dans som verktyg för lärandet. Några av intervjuerna utfördes på en skola som arbetar med dansmatte och några via telefon och E-mail. Det centrala som framkom i studien var att alla, utom en medverkande elev, är eniga om att dansmatte är ett bra medel för lärande i matematik och eleverna påstod att de lär sig lättare genom att använda kroppen.

The study reported has been conducted in care service guided by the Swedish law LSS( LSS- act concerning support and service for the disabled). The aim of this study is to examine the experiences of the personnel who have attended the Taktipro introductory course with special focus on how they describe the possible effects this may have had on their daily attendance to their special needs users.The method used is a qualitative method of enquiry, based on interview questions sent by mail to all the participants of the Taktipro introductory course. The result shows that the personnel have a positive view on skills in progress and that this program has facilitated the contact between personnel and their special needs users. An awareness about the importance of physical contact has also been revealed as well as an awareness of their own impact on situations at work. The result also indicates that the personnel feel that they have been able to improve the well being for the special needs users. .

The use of insecure networks -such as the Internet- to send and receive information has made the need for preventing unauthorised people reading it yet more important. One of the easiest way to do this is through public key cryptography. However, the problem with this solution is how to tie a specific public key to a certain subject. This is solved by letting a trusted third party issue a certificate that holds, as a minimum, the name of the subject and the subject's public key along with the issuer's digital signature on the information. The rules we make for issuing, revoking and verifying of certificates and the entities that are being used to do so are called PKI - Public Key Infrastructure.

Our purpose with this research has been to obtain a deeper insight and understanding for the phenomenon and term ?weekday-luxury.?Through our research, we have found a link between value, service, brands and consumer behaviour into a relationship that we termed ?weekday-luxury.? This link of values is particularly interesting to us and we are curious about the underlying motivation to ?weekday-luxury? and the driving forces underlying the phenomenon. We have noticed in society that people need something extra in their daily lives and we attempt to speculate where their perceived value lies through the concept of ?weekday-luxury." Our goal is to determine a deeper understanding and insight into this phenomenon and how it meets our needs through an identifiable pattern. We also analyze the nature of ?weekday-luxury? and its meaning.

Sammanfattningsvis kan vi dra slutsatsen att polisutbildningen tycks spela roll förpolisstudenternas socialisation. Detta ger sig uttryck i studenternas föreställningar om polisensagerande gentemot invandrare och polisstudenternas egen tolerans gentemot invandrare. Vi kan däremot se att utbildningen saknar samband med inställningen till ett riktat polisarbete samt att det istället är huruvida studenterna är födda i Sverige eller ej som har betydelse. Vi kan även dra slutsatsen att studier på högskola/universitet, vilket i tidigare undersökningar (se exempelvisEugene & Terrill 2007) har visat sig vara viktigt för polisens attityder, saknar relevans i dennastudie. Även faktorer som könstillhörighet och föräldrars utbildning saknar samband.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the impact on children's development around playing and how significance the formation of the schoolyards is focusing on how it inspire and calls to play within the children's. The study will also show how the youth workers experience the schoolyards and how they can incorporate the playground in their work to inspire the children's play and activities. The methods used in this study is based on both real conversations and by mail with educated youth workers and observations. The results shows that the schoolyard environment is very important for the children's play and development. The study reveals the importance of having nature like forest nearby and that the environment should be suited for everyone.

In today?s society, it becomes more common with tablets, that makes us interact with computers in a whole new way. For example these are used to read and write E-mails, surf the web and playing games. Another manner of use of these tablets is to read and edit PDF documents. PDF handling is often meant to be used in books and inregular text documents, but it could also be used in the management of drawings.An industry that would benefit greatly from the use of tablets for this purpose is the con- struction industry.

I dagens företag är information och kommunikation något grundläggande för att nå framgång. En organisation i förändring har stort behov av kommunikation, eftersom den tillkännager, förklarar och förbereder personal för förändringen. Det finns en mängd olika kommunikationssätt som kan användas för att kommunicera förändringar, därför vill vi veta vilka sätt som används i tjänsteorienterade organisationer idag och om det skett någon utveckling sedan tidigare forskning gjorts. Slutsatser: I Unionen används videokonferenser, forum och internetgrupprum i större utsträckning än vad teorierna beskriver. Utöver dessa används intranät, möten, E-mail och telefon, samt även brev och fax.

Improved wireless datacommunication with the forest machines might be the next big step in the logging process. The use for wireless communicationsystems within the forestry is among other things to report the production from the forest machines, to supply the machine opera-tors with the right information and for safety. CDMA2000/ 450 is a third generation mobilecommunicationsystem which could replace the old NMT- 450 and for comparatively low costs. The reason for the low costs is that you only have to use the old NMT- 450 masts and supply them with new equipment. In the test of CDMA2000/450, that has taken place in northern Uppland, two kind of files have been sent.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ur ett ledningsperspektiv öka förståelsen för motiven till varför/varför inte kunskapsintensiva tjänsteföretag väljer att visualisera intellektuellt kapital. I uppsatsen har den kvalitativa metoden använts. Vi har samlat in primärdatan genom telefonintervjuer och frågeformulär via E-mail. I analysen har vi tolkat den insamlade datan för att kunna få en förståelse av forskningsfrågan. Det som tydligt framträder i vår undersökning är att kunskapsintensiva tjänsteföretag väljer att visualisera intellektuellt kapital för att visa sitt verkliga värde, erhålla uppmärksamhet och utvecklas internt. De som väljer att inte visualisera ser det svåra i att värdera immateriella tillgångar då det inte finns någon standardiserad och vedertagen metod, samt att det tar stora resurser i anspråk.

This is a thesis on the Intranet use in the European Parliament. We investigated the use from a multilingual point of view, but also from a communication perspective. What we wanted to know was how a multilingual group, with presumably different computer skills, in the organisation handle the Intranet information. What are the positive and negative effects of a multilingual information exchange over an Intranet? To find out, we sent a questionnaire as an E-mail attachment to all members of a chosen committee and their assistants.

Syftet med denna forskning var att ta reda på varför företag i Sverige år 2015 väljer att skicka, mottaga och hantera fakturor med post när det finns alternativa metoder som PDF via mail och vad det är som gör att företag inte byter från det ena förhållningssättet till det andra..

Study objects: Three different productions companies which the authors have chosen to be anonymous. Purpose: The purpose with this study is to examine why production companies choose to use 3D-animations in television commercials, and what different kind of aspects affects their decisions. Theoretical: The theoretical chapter reviews the history of 3D-animation andtelevision commercials and other fields that will be relevant laterin the analysis and discussion. Method: A case study has been made on three different companies, two of the companies are active in post-production and the other one is active in the consulting area. Data was collected through semistructured interviews with two of the companies.
