Kvarnkretssimulering för test av styrsystem

This thesis has been carried out in autumn 2009 at Uppsala University for Boliden Mineral AB. Physical modelling has been used to model a comminution circuit. The model has then been linked to a PLC.When a concentrator is about to become operational Boliden Mineral AB have been looking for a way to test the PLC. The purpose of this report has therefore been to develop models for the subprocess in a concentrator and link these models to the PLC. The subprocess was a comminution circuit in Aitik36.

Modellering av aktivt stötdämpningssystem med MR-dämpare

I denna rapport redovisas modellbyggande av ett aktivt stötdämpningssystem till en formulabil. Stötdämparna som har använts i modelleringsarbetet är av MR-teknologi (Magneto Rheological). Dämpningskaraktäristik för MR-dämparna har tagits fram genom tester samt databehandling med mjukvaran Matlab. Genom användandet av modellerings- och simuleringsprogrammet Dymola (Dynamic Modelling Laboratory) med dess olika komponentbibliotek har flera delmodeller skapats för stötdämpningssystemet. Dessa modeller är baserade på fysikaliska relationer och de sätts sedan samman till en hel modell av systemet.

Modellering av ett bränslesystem i Modelica : tillämpat på ett obemannat flygplan

Mathematical models possible to simulate are of great importance in order to make successful projects in the aircraft manufacturing industry. An aircraft fuel system is very complex, containing pipes, tanks, orifices, valves and pumps. The principal of this thesis is using the tool Easy5, which no longer is considered reliable enough in terms of development and support. This thesis tries to evaluate the Modelica language as a possible alternative to Easy5. To make this evaluation, the components concerned in the fuel library in Easy5 are implemented to the Modelica language.

Utveckling av simuleringsmodell för konvertergassystem

Rapporten innefattar vidareutvecklingen av en befintlig simuleringsmodell som tagits fram under ett tidigare projektarbete vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Simuleringsmodellen simulerar Konvertergassystemet på Rönnskärsverken i Skelleftehamn. I denna rapport fortsätter utvecklingen av modellen genom att den valideras, kalibreras och testas. Modellen är uppbyggd i Modelica och simuleras i Dymola där färdiga kalibreringsfunktioner utnyttjas för inställning av parametervärden. Valideringsresultaten visar att vissa delkomponenter i gassystemet stämmer väl överens mot mätningar medan andra misstämmer och därför kalibreras.

Modelica is a multi-domain and equation-based modeling language. Modelica is based on object-oriented principles and non-causal modeling. The language is constructed to facilitate reuse and decompose models. The models and the modellibrary can modified to design a new nonlinear components.Object-oriented modeling is an excellent way to analyze and study large complex heterogeneous physical systems. The object-oriented modeling approach build on reusing and decomposition of models and non-causal modeling.Modeling physical systems often leads to a DAE system with index 2 or 3.

Analys av nivåproblematik i dränagetank på Ringhals 1

The focus of this project has been on the drainage tank of the reheater on Ringhals 1. This tank has on two previous occasions received such a high water level that the system automatically emergency stopped. For this reason, events and various readings from these two occasions has been specifically studied and analyzed. In order to prove theories about what causes these problems a model of the system was created in the program Dymola. Using simulation results from the model, we have been able to demonstrate how the system's measured values should look likeunder normal conditions with respect to flows, pressures, temperatures, valve positions and water level in the drainage tank.

The purpose of this thesis has been to develop a tool for modelling and simulating the nuclear plant Ringhals 3. The model should be used to improve the knowledge on the dynamics of the plant.
