The purpose of this paper is to apply the Dual-Effect hypothesis in Pritmani, Shome and Singal paper (2003), in order to analyze the exchange rate exposure on firms listed on the U.K. market. The study will examine if the foreign involvement of the firm will affect the share price of the firm.In addition to evaluating the Dual-Effect hypothesis in Pritmani et. al. (2003), we will evaluate the effect of foreign interest rates impact on U.K.

With some help of a few interviews, with children, and some staff members, in two different schools, I hope to answer the question: if the picture of the operation, that the children and the staff are having, has some similarities, and I will try to compare these pictures with what some legal documents such as Lgr 11 and Kvalitet I Fritidshem is saying about daycare opera-tions? To be able to run a successful daycare center, is never an easy thing. The key to success is to make parties, like the staff, children and their parents to feel happiness, when it comes to things around and about the daycare center. The result shows that both the children and the staff are expressing a frustration around the daycare operation, because they feel that there being wrongly answered, by a higher authority. The children are frustrated of how the staff is answering them about different things and the staff is frustrated about how the headmasters are answering them.

The Russian operation on the Crimean peninsula has been referred to as a victory enabled by the operationalization of the concept of New Generation Warfare. According to some military theorists, this concept and its operationalization cannot be characterized in terms of the traditional wars waged up to this point. It is, however, also argued that this new generation of warfare is primarily a new approach to strategy, a new way of applying traditional methods to achieve political goals. The purpose of this study is to discern whether Russia employed strategic deception in its operation in Crimea and if this is the case; what methods and principles were used and if these can be explained using a traditional view of deception. Studien grundades på tre frågeställningar: kan musik minska den upplevda oron och ångesten dygnet innan operation, kan musik minska fysiologiska symtom skapade av oro och ångest dygnet innan operation, om möjligheten att välja musik påverkar effekten av interventionen? Nio studier granskades utifrån frågeställningarna.

A tax penalty is an administrative penalty and is levied when the tax obligated provides false information for the guidance of their own taxation. Further can the taxpayer also be punished for tax evasion for the same false reporting. However, this is contrary to the European Convention that we should not be tried or punished twice for the same crime. The Supreme Court has through practice from 2013 ruled that the right not to be punished twice for the same offense shall include the system in force concerning tax and tax offenses. The Supreme Court has by this judgment determined that the system of penalty and tax evasion is not compatible with the dual test ban.In the light of the judgment the Government submitted in November 2014 a draft to the council regarding double test ban regarding penalty and tax evasion.

POUR (postoperativ urinretention) är en välkänd komplikation efter operation och incidensen för POUR varierar i olika studier mellan 0,5 % till 70 %. Det framkommer också att patienten kan ha POUR redan innan operationen startar. Felaktig behandling av POUR kan bli orsak till blåsuttänjning, urinvägsinfektion och kateterrelaterade komplikationer. Därför är det viktigt att det finns ett evidensbaserat förhållningssätt för att förebygga och behandla POUR under pre-, per- och postoperativa perioden. Syftet med studien var göra en sammanställning av befintlig kunskap när det gäller riskfaktorer för att utveckla urinretention efter elektiv operation.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to discuss and analyse co-operation between public and academic libraries. The political changes that were initiated during 2004 have come to alter the conditions for Swedish libraries. The Swedish library law was changed at the 1st of January 2005 and co-operation between libraries is now statuary even if there is no description of how the new mission is to be executed. At the same time an extensive report about the Royal Library and its role as the Swedish National Library was presented. This report also recommended an increased co-operation between different types of libraries.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the way George W. Bush used the language as a means to exercise power in an attempt to justify Operation Iraqi Freedom. The theories used to answer the purpose are discourse analysis and three different moral metaphors that are applied on the data.The collected material for the metaphors is constituted of cognitive linguistic books from prominent linguists, such as George Lakoff, Alan Cruse and William Croft, and the material for the discourse analysis is also collected from prominent discourse analysts such as Michél Foucault and Norman Fairclough. Ångest beskrivs som en stark känsla av oro och fruktan med fysiska och psykiska yttringar. Oron och ångesten patienter upplever före operation kan påverka patientens tillstånd och finnas kvar efter operation och ge en försämrad återhämtning. Syftet: Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att beskriva vilka metoder i omvårdnadsarbetet sjuksköterskan utför, som visat sig ha lindrande effekt för patienters preoperativa oro och ångest. Metod: Litteraturöversikten baserades på 15 kvantitativa artiklar som bearbetades genom manifest innehållsanalys.

Larvae of Lepidopteran Manduca sexta and Spodoptera littoralis are pests of economical importance in several horticultural and agricultural crops. Knowledge of insect feeding preferences and behavior is crucial in order to find economically and ecologically sustainable solutions to the problems caused by these herbivores. The aim of this thesis was to study the behavior and the induced feeding preferences in larvae of M. sexta and S. littoralis when reared on certain host plants. The hypothesis was that larvae of M. sexta would have an innate preference for plants of the Solanaceae family and therefore discriminate the previously experienced nonhost when faced with the choice between a true host and the previous food source.
