During my one year master in pedagogic science, I was frequently given the impression that depicts the pedagogue?s profession as a rather transcendent talent or, more precisely, a matter of having ?it? or not. It seemed to me, as if the communicative part of the teacher?s specialised skill was more or less undefined in the description of what makes the pedagogue a professional pedagogue. On those premisses, I was led to the aim of this study, which is pursuing the very essence of the profession by discussing how five teachers validate their daily work from a habermasian perspective on communication, society and pedagogy.

Studies have shown that air pollution, as well as bark fissure depth and sun exposure of a tree can have an effect on lichen growth as well as abundance of lichen species. The aim of this study was to find out the relative importance of these factors. 211 oaks in south eastern Sweden were surveyed for presence of 17 lichen species, as well as the total number of lichen species. Half of the trees were situated in urban areas and half in the countryside. For each tree the bark fissure depth was measured and the sun exposure of the trunk was estimated.

Nedlagda deponier klassificeras som potentiellt förorenade områden. Detta eftersom avfallsmassorna i en nedlagd deponi kan sprida föroreningar till den omgivande miljön även efter driftfasen. Äldre nedlagda deponier utgör generellt ett högre miljöhot än deponier i drift eller deponier avslutade i modern tid i och med att de omfattas av ett lägre miljöskydd. De äldre nedlagda deponierna saknar skyddsbarriärer i under- och överliggande lager, är ofta olämpligt placerade i förhållande till bebyggelse och har obefintlig övervakning och behandling av lakvattnet. Spridning av lakvatten från deponierna med grundvattnet som recipient har pekats ut som den enskilt största risken förknippad med äldre nedlagda deponier.

Denna rapport redogör för ett kandidatexamensprojekt 15 p i industridesign på Konstfack University College of Arts Crafts and Design. Projektet är ett gestaltningsprojekt som behandlar ett koncept om en ny utombordsmotor för privat bruk. Jag har under projektets gång identifierat ett antal värdeord från användare och en position på marknaden som har resulterat i en utombordsmotor med en tydlig miljlöprofil.Användaren och målgruppen för denna utombordsmotor har ett aktivt båtliv som kräverstor flexibilitet av motorn.Konceptutvecklingen och då främst tekniska detaljer har arbetats fram i samarbete med sakkunniga inom förbränningsteknik på KTH. Resultatet är en hybridmotor som går på el-drift i låga hastigheter och förbränningsmotor i högre hastigheter.Stor fokus har lagts på gestaltningen i en process som har innefattat både tvådimensionellt skissarbete och tredimensionellt modellarbete. Formen strävar efter att uttrycka ett hybridkoncept innehållande två motorer.

Med en ny vattenreningsdel vill Kalmar Vatten AB (KVAB) sänka sina utsläpp av näringsämnen i Kalmarsund. KVAB har vid tidigare tillfällen uppgraderat det befintliga reningsverket och för att klara framtida energi- och klimatmål planeras därför en nybyggnation. Uppdraget var att framföra olika pumpalternativ till den framtida pumpstationen och ge en LCC-analys för varje alternativ. Två helt skilda pumptyper har utretts, Arkimedespumpen och centrifugalpumpen. Två alternativ för Arkimedespumpen och ett alternativ för centrifugalpumpen har tagits i beaktande.

This essay investigates, on the basis of the medieval letters, diplomas, how the medieval monasticism contributed to the maintenance of the Danish society's gender structures. The theoretical starting points for the study are gender and class structures and Marcel Mauss presented gift - giving theory. Finally, a continuous comparison is made with Catharina Andersson's results in her dissertation, in which she examines the social structure in the Swedish medieval society. The primary material in the study is the Danish diplomas. 41 diplomas were found relevant for this study.

Traditionella ?Desktop applikationer? blir webbapplikationer för att centralisera drift och öka tillgänglighet. Detta skifte medför ett ökande antal träffytor för personer som av en eller annan orsak vill åsamka skada eller tillskansa sig, alternativt manipulera eller förstöra, känslig eller hemlig information.

The aim of this Master thesis is to make a survey of the public library staff-relations at work and discuss relationship marketing as it applies to public libraries. Relationship marketing involves the establishment, maintenance and development of users and other library-related relationships, including the relations among the library staff itself. Good relations among the library staff is a necessary condition for good relations with others. The focus of relationship marketing is at the user?s needs, wants and demands instead of the library collections and services.

This project investigated the current market regarding wireless net and the communication between the tools used for diagnostics/maintenance and an embedded system. Based on documentation obtained through interviews a demo system was created based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between an embedded system and an Android device.This report intends to describe the tools and methods used in the design of the demo system and the result of an analysis of the BLE communication.Bluetooth Low Energy is an exciting protocol with wide applicability within the industrial field. This project investigated the communicational possibilities between a Smartphone and a Raspberry Pi and based on the results that emerged the conclusion can be drawn that BLE is a protocol with many beneficial applications within industrial IT..

The sandy beaches of Vänern are threatened by overgrowth and thereby the biodiversity is at high risk to decline. This study is based on an inventory of vegetation of overgrowth character and mosses. The frequency and spread of mosses is perceived as an indication of initial or present overgrowth. External factors that have been taken into consideration are wind-, wave- and ice erosion, the slope of the beach, wear and grade of exposure. The purpose of the investigation is to control the beaches grade of overgrowth and find out which external factor is of most importance for the maintenance of the biotope. The results show that the beaches environment is affected by the slope of the beach, grade of exposure, size, wear and overgrowth.

The essay is written at the request of Nyköping municipality park management by PatRadestedt who wanted a design proposal for one of the five courtyards at the Tessin Schoolin Nyköping. The Tessin School is located 2 miles from the center of Nyköping and the schoolhouses approximately 900 students. To make a design proposal for the courtyard that lies atthe canteen I decided from the outset that I wanted to take some of the Tessin SchoolStudents' opinions and wishes regarding their own outdoor spaces. I had a workshop witheight students from the arts program with the image orientation in which they had to drawand tell them what they wanted to do in the courtyard. The outcome of the workshop, Iused to move forward in my future work with a concept that fit into the environment, wethen apply it in my final design proposal.

NCC har i samarbete med IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet och Solna Stad startat ett projekt där alternativ energiproduktion i urban miljö ligger i fokus. Ett vindkraftverk med en maxeffekt på 2,5 kW installerades på NCC:s huvudkontor i Solna i mitten på februari 2011. IVL:s roll i projektet är att arbeta fram en meteorologisk modell där vindförhållandena, med hänsyn till närliggande hinder och olika höjder, presenteras. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utföra en teknisk utvärdering av vindkraftverket. Håller leverantören sina löften gällande produktion? Är urban vindkraft lönsam eller vilka förutsättningar krävs för att den ska bli det? Behöver vindmätningar utföras eller kan IVL:s modell alternativt data från den närliggande mätstationen på Bromma flygplats användas? Vad arbetar konkurrenterna med inom energi och miljö? Dessa frågor ligger som grund till arbetet.NCC installerade 2009 en väderstation på taket till huvudkontoret och det är dessa mätningar som beräkningarna baseras på.

Detta examensarbete har genomförts på uppdrag av Outokumpu Technology AB och bestod i att genomföra dynamiska beräkningar av en punchmaskin i syfte att skapa en bättre kunskapsbas för framtida utveckling Lämpliga aspekter att studera är bl.a: Vilka krafter som uppstår vid slagförloppet samt sambandet slagkraft/slaghastighet. Accelerationer och utbalansering vid slag och förflyttning. Utmattningspåkänningar i bärande konstruktioner. Vidare så är konstruktionsförbättringar av utsatta komponenter en möjlig del av examensjobbet. Som grund för beräkningarna har uppmätningar av en punchmaskin i drift genomförts och även tidigare mätningar har använts.

No infrastructures today are growing faster then communication network. The requirement of being able to communicate in a fast and qualified environment to a low cost increases in line with the development and competition. Itera Networks is no exception when it comes to rapidly developing new and better network solutions for themselves and for their customers. With these requirements in mind their needs for an analysis of the existing communication solution becomes very obvious. This project contains such an analysis in which various studies of the existing network environment have been made.

Detta examensarbete presenterar en uppföljning av driftresultat från infraljudsotnings-anläggningen på Borås Energi och Miljös två avfallspannor på kraftvärmeverket Ryaverket. Perioden som studeras är begränsad till sommaren 2013. Dessutom genomförs en ekonomisk uppföljning av infraljudsotningsaffären.Förbränningen av hushålls- och industriavfall i Ryaverkets två avfallspannor resulterar i mycket aska och askbeläggningar på värmeöverförande delar, vilket medför sämre värmeöverföring mellan matarvatten och rökgaser. För att rengöra värmeöverförande delar används olika sotningsmetoder. Tidigare (fram till hösten 2011) användes uteslutande ångsotning och sprängsotning på Ryaverket.
