Journalists´ role in society has traditionally been of representative nature with a task to distribute news and scrutinize those in power. But technological changes have created a new publishing world outside the traditional media institutions. In today?s redactional society anyone can become a publisher in a blog or through other channels on online. This process can be seen as contributing to increased democratization giving everyone the opportunity to publish.

För att skapa ett bättre och effektivare arbetssätt i branschen har en ny samarbetsform tagits fram. Denna samarbetsform kallas partnering och innebär i stora drag endast ett mer strukturerat sätt att arbeta. Huvudmålet är att skapa ett förhållande där parterna arbetar tillsammans mot gemensamma mål. Genom att fördela både risker och vinster mellan varandra skapas en ömsesidig vilja att effektivisera underhållet. Partnering är ingen ny entreprenadform utan ett nytt sätt arbeta.

In this paper, a navigation support approach for speech-only interaction based on auditory icons for room-based designs is presented, i.e. naturally occurring sounds that have a natural mapping to the system's underlying design metaphor. In contrast to many recent investigations that have focused on multi-modal or augmented reality systems, this paper concerns a unimodal speech and sound-only system. An auditory icon based prototype system for buildings maintenance support using a room-based metaphor was developed. The design was evaluated in a comparison with earcons and no-sound designs.

Jag har under fem veckors tid utfört mitt examensarbete hos Vattenfall Vattenkraft AB i Sundsvall. Uppgiften bestod i att switchar i deras driftcentraler i Bispgården, Storuman och Vuollerim skulle bytas ut. Uppgiften kompliceras eftersom switcharna är placerade i en driftcentral med ett nätverk som ska fungera dygnet runt. I uppgiften ingick det att skapa en ny konfiguration för de nya switcharna som skulle tas i drift. Detta är den del som tagit allra mest tid.

Stress is commonly found in society today. This paper aims to examine how work performance, cooperation and team spirit are maintained in demanding work environments. By studying two departments in a public hospital that practises addiction care, our findings suggest the following: If the experienced stress is mainly connected to challenge stressors, it has a positive effect on work performance. By organising work through mechanistic and organic structure, the handling of qualitative and quantitative stress is facilitated. As a consequence, first and foremost cooperation can be maintained, but also work performance and team spirit.

Utsläpp av lättflyktiga organiska föreningar (VOC) är ett växande mijlöproblem. Biofiltrering är ett relativt billigt sätt att rena luft förorenad med VOC. Biofiltrering har också en fördel i att föroreningen helt bryts ned och inte endast övergår i en annan form. Rapporten beskriver arbetet kring två biofilter av kolonntyp. Mikroberna som användes kom från främst träflis och jord.

The Swedish National Rail Administration has changed in the past decade, from its origin after a less dramatic separation from the Swedish State Railways to becoming an authority with its own identity. Today the National Rail Administration is a large organisation with several different departments, each with its own unique function. To operate train services the railway needs to be ?in shape?, leading to a need for maintenance, reinvestments and new investments. For this purpose, the National Rail Administration carries out public procurement where contractors, who are able to perform maintenance and new construction, submit tenders.

Syftet med den här studien är att presentera möjliga orsaker till varför startstödet inte resulterat i en ökning av antalet nyetablerade unga jordbrukare. Trenden inom jordbrukssektorn är att antalet jordbruksföretag och företagare blir färre och medelåldern bland de verk-samma jordbrukarna blir högre. Mot bakgrund av detta finns det inom landsbygdsprogrammet för Sverige 2007-2013 en ekonomisk stödåtgärd till just unga jordbruksföretagare som väljer att nyetablera. Anledningen till att man valt en ekonomisk åtgärd är för att brist på kapital ses som en av de största svårigheterna för nyetablerade unga jordbrukare. Utvärderingarna av stödet har dock visat på att åtgärden haft en begränsad effekt, de som etablerat och utnyttjat startstödet, skulle ha etablerat även utan.

Fetma och övervikt är ett hot mot folkhälsan. Många med övervikt och fetma försöker gå ner i vikt, men få lyckas bibehålla viktminskningen. Studiens syfte var att ta reda på erfarenheter av betydelsefulla faktorer och strategier för en bestående viktminskning, samt motivation för bibehållandet av vikten. Enligt Self-determination theory (SDT) blir beteendeförändringar bestående om de är autonoma och om motivationen är intern. Åtta kvinnor som deltagit i Itrims viktminskningsprogram intervjuades.

This report is made as a literature review, focusing on the work done to increase understanding of efficiency in the categories of substations and secondary heating systems, with respect to the deviation from the theoretically possible cooling off in the distribution network as well as the economic benefit that appear. The main purpose of a considerable part of the literature used in this report addresses the issue of identifying individual causes of reduced cooling in district heating systems. These literature resources have been compiled and summarized as part of the report.The technology of district heating is associated with benefits such as better use of the energy in a fuel. This is the case of cogeneration plants where serial generation of electricity and thermal energy increases efficiency compared with the parallel generation where heat is generated locally and electricity is generated centrally. Serial generation thus allows for lower primary energy demand.

This Master's thesis discusses the freedom of speech, the right to freedom of opinion and expression, freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas in the context of public libraries in Sweden. The scope of this thesis is to examine the acquisition and maintenance of the literature about the killing of Sweden's Prime Minister Olof Palme 1986. This literature will serve as an instrument to measure the extent to which Swedish public libraries adhere to the rules set by the Swedish parliament, United Nations' universal declaration of human rights article 19, UNESCO's public library manifesto and the principles of the Federation of Library Associations and Institutions..

En stor del av Sveriges energianvändning går till bostäder och lokaler. Ur en nationell synvinkel är energieffektiviseringar i befintliga byggnader därför en potentiellt viktig del för att kunna nå de satta klimatmålen till år 2020.I ett traditionellt styr- och reglersystem styrs framledningstemperaturen i ett vätskeburet värmesystem efter en kurva som beror på utomhustemperaturen. En del nya styr- och reglersystem tar även hänsyn till andra parametrar, såsom byggnaders värmetröghet och lokala väderprognoser. Ett exempel på ett sådant system är Ecopilot, utvecklat av Kabona. Nuvarande kunskap angående hur stor energibesparing som styr- och reglersystem med prognosstyrning och styrning som utnyttjar byggnadens värmetröghet ger upphov till består till största del av referensfall som jämför byggnaders energianvändning före och efter installationen.I detta examensarbete undersöktes hur energianvändning och inomhusklimat påverkades av prognosstyrning och styrning som utnyttjar byggnaders värmetröghet.

The purpose of this essay was to find out what alcoholics themselves mean were the way out of their drinking abuse.The questions at stake are:· What kind of context did the interviewed live in before and after the turning point?· How did the process of getting out of the alcohol abuse look like?· What different factors may have influenced the turning point, the maintenance and the interviewee's choice to stop the abuse of alcohol?· Where there any other important occurrences that may have had an impact on their decision to stop drinking?For the investigation we have interviewed three women and five men. They all have had sever problems with alcohol, but all of them also have found a way out of the abuse.Our research shows that the way out of alcohol abuse is very complex and individual. The turning point is rather a process than a single occurrence. Our research also shows that the interaction between the alcohol and important individuals in their immediate surroundings are the absolute most important factor to stop using alcohol in a destructive way but also important when it comes to maintaining soberness..

This study focuses on a reconstruction proposal of a small part of a rural churchyard that has lost a big part of its history, in form of its conformation and plant material. The chosen part of the cemetery was established in 1938, and this proposal is an interpretation of the architect?s original plan, the workers wishes and my own observations and experiences of the place. In this proposal I have tried to balance the plants composition to create an environment that can benefit the biological diversity, that fits the locations habitat and today?s maintenance.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera och studera Casino Cosmopol i Malmö ur ett fasperspektiv. Våran ambition är att utvärdera i vilken livscykelfas kasinot befinner sig. Vidare vill vi utreda hur ledarskapet har påverkat kasinots vandring genom cykeln. Vi har även för avsikt att utreda och förklara vilka strategiska ansatser som Casino Cosmopol AB använt, under den tid kasinot varit i drift. Vår slutsats är att Adizes teorier om organisationers livscykelfaser och ledarstilar i olika faser, går att applicera på Casino Cosmopol i Malmö.
