AbstractThe purpose with this essay is to get an insight on how the school has changed over the past years in terms of reading- and writing difficulties/dyslexia. In the literature studies I mention reading- and writing difficulties and the reasons why some people get these problems. Further on in the literature study it is written about what the education act and the curriculum say about the school?s duties towards pupils in need of special support.The result contains interviews with one language pedagogue and one special pedagogue who work in two different municipalities. In addition I interviewed two former pupils who went to school 15-20 years ago.I came to the conclusion that today?s schools have changed to the better for the pupils with difficulties.

Syftet med studien är att genom tidigare forskning och verksamma dramapedagoger ta reda på och åskådliggöra fenomenet drama. Fokus ligger på elevernas åsikter gällande drama som en alternativ undervisningsmetod i språkundervisningen. Samtidigt har jag tittat närmare på hur drama inverkar på deras skriftliga produktion (fri skrivning), där ord, fraser och grammatik ingår. Jag har undersökt en grupp elever som går sista året på samhällsprogrammet inriktning språk. Undersökningarna har genomförts genom löpande observationer i klassrummet, eleverna har skrivit sina reflektioner i loggböcker (de har läst berättelsen om Pinocchio på italienska), enkäter, för-och eftermätning i form av prov samt att eleverna har satt upp en skolpjäs om Pinocchio på italienska.

In this paper I make an analysis of the play Järnbörd (By burning Iron) written by the swedish author Magnus Dahlström. In this play all the characters has committed horrible crimes wich they easily describes the violence. The starting-point of my analysis is the text itself and not any stage-setting. The reason for this is that I find it interesting to see what can be found in the text only. I investigate if the language itself can tell something.Furthermore I discuss Magnus Dahlström´s literary language and if he has any distinguishing quality, and if so what it may be.

The purpose with this study has been to understand and analyze how teachers, working with children in the ages of 1-3 years, understand and work with the concepts of gender and equality in preschool. The study has been completed through interviews and observations and is based on three key questions, which are: How pedagogues in the pre-school interpret the concepts of genus and equality? How are boys respectively girls received and treated by the pedagogue in the pre-school? What similarities and/or differences can be seen in the way that the preschool pedagogue treats boys and girls? The study's method is based on a qualitative approach. The main research methods for this study are observations and interviews. I have been interviewing three teachers from the same pre-school, located in a suburb in Stockholm as well as observed them during work.

This essay is about the meeting of the pedagogic mission and the reality of the conditions in preschools. It is about the frustrations that I, as a pedagogue, experience when I cannot fulfill this mission. An example of this is working when understaffed.My purpose is the acknowledgment of two main areas of the curriculum: caring and learning. This essay is an attempt to portray and explain my work as a dance pedagogue as well as an epistemological overview of the skills and knowledge I use when I teach. The study is phenomenologically oriented and the examples used are from the years when I was teaching at the University College of Dance in Stockholm. The primary objective of the study was to illustrate the practical knowledge of my teaching by examining what lies in the mind and gaze of the dance pedagogue while teaching.Having finished my essay I realize that it has come to be primarily about the body. How the knowledge that is imprinted in my body can only be conveyed when I have a student to teach and how I feel that the intermediary of knowledge occurs. Other recurrent themes are the relations of thought and consciousness to the body.

The aim of this study was to identify and make transitions in Swedish preschool-class-9-years elementary schools visible with a special-needs educational perspective. Transitions in focus were those between preschool-class and primary school, between grade three and four and the last between grade six and seven.In the 1960?th Swedish elementary school were devided into three levels; primary school, intermediate level school and upper level lower secondary school. Those levels were officially removed when the curriculum of 1994 was introduced. However, in some way such levels still exist, for example in organisation and structure of schools, the curriculum and teacher education.How did school leaders design transitions between levels and which tools were used? What kind of information was transferred to help children with special needs and what was the role of the special pedagogue in the transition process?The study was a combination of a quantitative and qualitative method, a questionnaire survey complemented with qualitative interviews with special pedagogues in three schools in a middle-sized Swedish town.The result of the study shows that schools in focus had a work plan.

Jag har i denna uppsats valt att undersöka om och på vilket sätt drama och folksagor kan hjälpa 10-12-åriga barn att utveckla sin återberättarförmåga. Jag har även försökt att finna ett sätt att med hjälp av gestaltning av folksagor skapa en bättre uppfattning av barnens inre utveckling. En positiv upptäckt under denna studie var att unga redan i första stadiet av sin utveckling lätt kan lära sig att personifiera olika objekt och utvidga sin fantasi, vilket kan leda till att de i framtiden lättare kan lösa mera komplicerade ting i livet. Ett problem var att jag var ensam om en sådan undersökning, som skulle krävt minst tre personer för att man skulle kunna genomföra hela proceduren från videoupptagning till observation, intervju och analys. Under denna undersökning har jag upptäckt att gestaltning av folksagor fungerar både som en bra metod i arbetet med utveckling av barnens fantasi och som ett sätt att få en bättre uppfattning om andra människor i samhället..

My essay is written from a basis of one of my own experiences were a child is perceived by us pedagogues as lonely and introverted, as well as having trouble socialising because of, what we can see, difficulties making himself understood verbally. I want to highlight how I as a pedagogue can respond to and strengthen children who are outside but still with the group, in a certain sense. I want to reflect on how we can deepen our understanding of these children and how we can facilitate for children who do not follow the norms of society when it comes to communication. I will analyse and draw conclusions with the help of theorists such as Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotskij and interpretations of these, but also look at it from a sociopsychological perspective as the interactions between people and environments play a large and distinctive role in preschool. The purpose of this essay is to enlighten how different we can see and experience situations in preschool.

Syftet med vår undersökning var att se om man med hjälp av pedagogiskt drama kan stärka intellektuellt funktionshindrade barns självkänsla. Eftersom vi båda arbetar med intellektuellt funktionshindrade barn och tycker det är stimulerande och utmanande, valde vi att göra vår undersökning i en dramagrupp med 10 grundsärskoleelever. Under vårterminen har dramagruppen arbetat med ett projekt om Leonardo Da Vinci som avslutades med en teaterföreställning. Vi valde att samla in vårt empiriska material genom kvalitativa studier i form av observationer och intervjuer. Åsa som var involverad i projektet genomförde deltagande observationer under vårterminens dramapass.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate respectability and the construction of ?free love? in Swedish feminist debater and playwright Frida Stéenhoff?s (1865?1945) drama Lejonets unge (1896). In 1897 the first production of the drama was set in the small town of Sundsvall in Sweden and caused a public storm be-cause of its plea for free love for both men and women.Through an intersectional perspective, where the axes of class, gender, sexual-ity, religion, nationality and age are central and with a starting point in Beverly Skegg?s concept ?respectability? I investigate how ?free love? is constructed in the drama. I also link the construction of ?free love? to the historical context of the debate concerning sexual morality and marriage which was intense in society and literature in Scandinavia in the late 19th century.In the drama the plea for ?free love? is created mainly through the character Saga Leire.

this paper is a study on children's social interactions in role-play. The aim is to try to highlight how children with other develop social skills and how to further motivate children tosee, understand and manage their reality in role-play by highlighting the characteristics of afunctioning role-play. I would also highlight the importance of pedagogue´s role in relation tochildren's social skills in role-play. The purpose flows into these issues, what distinguishes afunctioning role-play? Can the children in role-play influence their thinking to developunderstanding of others and the environment and if so, how? What significance does pedagogue´s role in children's role-play? I used out of a qualitative methodology to carry out this investigation.
