Idag lever upp till 48 personer utav 10 000 med drag av Aspergers syndrom. Då kunskaperna ofta är otillräckliga inom ämnesområdet kan detta orsaka en bristfällig förståelse i mötet med vårdpersonalen. Detta medför emellanåt ett lidande för personer med Aspergers syndrom. Syftet med studien var att belysa livsvärlden hos personer med Aspergers syndrom och deras möte med den svenska vården. Metoden som användes var litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats.

The study isbased on a qualitative method. The data consist of interviews, with six social workers andthree supervisors. The study?s theoretical framework is based on KASAM, SOC-sense ofcoherence by Antonovsky, demand- control- support model by Karasek & Theorell, stresstheory by Hans Selye and coping strategies by Lazarus.

Propofol is an intravenously administered, hypnotic and short- acting pharmaceutical. One common sideeffect (>1:10) and therefore a disadvantage with propofol is the local pain that arise when the initial injection is given. Why the pain arise is not clearly understood. A majority of different pharmacological treatments, different doses and combinations, alternative administrations methods and physical interventions have been tried to reduce the pain when injection of propofol is given. One important task for the nurse is to relieve pain for patients.

I denna uppsats har länsstyrelsens tillämpning av riksintresse för kulturmiljövård studerats utifrån ett plan- och miljöparadigmsperspektiv. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har varit paradigmbeskrivningen i Styrning av markanvändning och miljö (2006) av Lars Emmelin & Peggy Lerman (2006: 2,12-20). Teorin har tillämpats utifrån de lokal- och centralstyrningsaspekter som deskriptivt förklarar paradigmen. Avsikten har varit att studera hur plan- och miljöparadigmets styrningsprinciper kan identifieras i detaljplaneprocesser och hur dragen påverkar processerna. Dessutom har frågan hur länsstyrelsen ser på sin handläggning utefter lokal- och centralstyrningsaspekter varit en utgångspunkt för uppsatsen. Uppsatsen har utformats efter en fallstudieprincip.

The aim of this essay is to investigate how the author JT LeRoy (a. i. Laura Albert) questions and broadens the concept of authenticity in literature and authorship. My study is based on LeRoy?s novel Sarah [2000] and the collection of short stories The heart is deceitful above all things [2001], as well as articles written about the construction of Laura Albert?s alter ego JT LeRoy.

BackgroundResearch shows that the majority of patients feel anxiety before and during anesthesia. It has been shown in several studies that preoperative anxiety may cause adverse effects in the postoperative course. Nurse anesthetists have a key role in creating a safe environment and the opportunity to use different interventions to reduce the degree of anxiety.AimThe aim of the study was to examine which interventions may reduce anxiety in adult patients before and during both general, local and regional anesthesia.DesignSystematic literature review with a quantitative approach.ResultsSeveral studies indicate that gabapentin and pregabalin can reduce anxiety before and during anesthesia. The anxiety reducing effect appeared to be dose dependent. The naturopathic drugs Citrus aurantium blossom and Passiflora incarnata Linneaus were found to reduce anxiety before anesthesia.

This thesis discusses main problems associated with dictionary-based Cross-Language Information Retrieval as lexical and translational ambiguity of query terms, translation of compounds and phrases, dictionary limitation. The purpose of the study is to investigate how query structure influences the effectiveness of CLIR regarding performance of three query types: original query, unstructured query and structured query. Query structuring refers to the application of #syn-operator to group query terms. The study comprises an experiment that was performed in the InQuery IR system with TrecUta database that contains 550,000 news articles from different American newspapers. 24 topics were used for the experiment.

Abstrakt -  As energy prices rise, energy-saving in buildings is becoming increasingly important. By applying different construction and installation technologies, to new buildings the energy consumption can be reduced effectively, compared to similar existing buildings. These technical measures are often an investment in the long term and will reduce energy costs significantly. The purpose of this report is to show how to reduce energy consumption in a small house. It is presented in this report that both building's technical saving arrangements (the sealing of a building) and an installation technical arrangement (changing from the F-system to the FTX-system) would reduce energy consumption in newly built detached houses, if compared with a similar existing house but without these technical measures. The report presents also detailed calculations showing how much energy an existing 2-storey house, built in the year 2007 in Eskilstuna, consumes and how much energy would be saved if these corrective measures were applied to a new building. It is also reported how much money would be saved each year over a 10 year period if the measures were applied. The results show that both solutions are a good investment in the reduction of energy consumption and hence the cost involved. Keywords: energy, heat energy, infiltration, FTX-system, free temperature effectively. .

Denna studie har utförts i uppdrag av Umeå kommun i syfte att uppfylla det lokala delmålet om en giftfri uppväxt. De vill nu få en uppfattning om hur massagolv kan påverka inomhusmiljön i en förskola, och om dessa golv generellt uppfyller deras policy för materialanvändning. Massagolv är fogfria och porfria golv, de läggs ut som en flytande plastmassa och efter härdning blir de mycket tåliga mot både kemisk och mekanisk belastning. De flesta massagolven baseras på härdplasterna epoxi, akryl och polyuretan. Dessa plaster har olika egenskaper som gör de optimala i olika typer av förhållanden.

Every day we make numerous decisions. Some are better than others. Intuitive decisions usually results in less good decisions when we do not reason about our choices. Research has been interested about the process that is behind how we make good decisions. Decisions we face every day, such as when we shop, determined using various mental shortcuts that we use unconsciously.

Logiskt-analytiskt särbegåvade vuxna svenskar undersöktes genom två delstudier, explorativa intervjuer (n=9) och en enkät (n=302), med syfte att öka förståelsen kring hur denna grupp ser på sin begåvning, sina relationer och bemötandet från omvärlden. Skillnaderna inom gruppen var stor, men gemensamma drag var otålighet och ett ifrågasättande av regler och normer. Majoriteten känner sig annorlunda, men för de flesta innebär detta inte något utanförskap som vuxen. Nästan enhälligt påtalar respondenterna hur illa den svenska skolan har mött deras behov, vissa har gått genom skolan utan att vara lärande. Få reflekterar över sig själva i termer av begåvning.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur några elever med Aspergers syndrom upplever skillnaderna mellan en vanlig integrerad klass och en specialklass anpassad efter elever med Aspergers syndrom med fokus på förutsättningarna för koncentration och social interaktion. Fyra individer har intervjuats, de har flera års erfarenhet av båda skolformerna och deras återberättande av hela sin skolgång, med extra fokus på koncentration och social interaktion, ligger som grund för resultatet och analysen. I analysen används ett kodschema för att tydliggöra berättelsernas gemensamma drag och individernas process för läsaren. I diskussionen sammanfattas och diskuteras analysen samt lärande ur det sociokulturella perspektivet. Resultatet var inte entydligt, de olika individerna hade olika uppfattningar och erfarenheter men något de hade gemensamt var att arbetssättet med korta arbetspass och mycket pauser passar dem bra.

This study has been carried out in the spring of 2014 on behalf of PQR Consult AB in Stockholm. The aim of the study has been to analyse the energy usage of the building Skarpövägen 1 in order to explore the possibilites of saving energy by using appropriate equipment. These possible solutions have been simulated by using the programe IDA Indoor Climate and Energy, combined with a life cycle cost analysis. The laundry building, Skarövägen 23, has also been analysed due to its high amount of energy usage. The result of the energy analysis showed that the energy usage was much higher than the energy declaration.
