Under mitt examensarbete har jag undersökt hur jag kan ändra vår uppfattning av en produkt genom att ge den en ny form och ett nytt uttryck. Jag har under tio veckor tagit fram en hundflytväst, som idag klassas er som en säkerhetsprodukt, och tittat närmare på hur man får ägare och hund att verkligen vilja använda produkten samtidigt som funktionen och formen optimeras.Slutmålet med mitt projekt har varit att kombinera ihop de delar som jag har lärt mig under utbildningens gång. Jag har velat lägga fokus på att undersöka form, funktion och uttryck i kombination med att jobba mot ett etablerat varumärke.Jag har samarbetat ihop med företaget Helly Hansen under mitt projekt. Idén har varit att tillsammans med dem ta fram en ny hundflytväst med fokus på användar- och brukarvänlighet samtidigt som form och färgsättning undersöks och skapas enligt företagets formprinciper..

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the importance of public libraries for individuals in their everyday life and to study the differences in views between the individuals. Questions posed in this study are: What do public libraries mean to individuals? Which differences between individuals views of the public library are to be found? What is the reason for differences to occur? The analysis is based upon qualitative interviews with six persons, four women and two men between 31 and 55 years of age. The theoretical starting points are Anderson and Skot-Hansens theory of four different roles of public libraries and Bourdieus theory of lifestyle. The study acts on a hermeneutic attitude.

The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to investigate which rolesthe mobile library has to its users in a small community in Sweden.To reach this purpose I have focused on the following two researchquestions:? Which are the different functions, social, cultural, educational orinformation-based, that the mobile library offers its users andwhich of these are used in reality?? What purposes are there for the mobile library and how it is usedby it?s visitors?To answer these questions I have interviewed four users of amobile library and I have held e-mail interviews with librarians incharge of a mobile library as well as the head of the department ofculture and peoples health in the community. As a base for myanalyse I have also used a pilot study which I performed earlier inthe spring of 2011.My theoretical framework is based on the model of the publiclibrary?s different roles made by Marianne Andersson and DorteSkot-Hansen.The result of this study show?s that a mobile library isn?t verydifferent from a permanently located public library. The fourdifferent functions all exist, wholly or partly, in the mobile library..

Studien handlar om pressfotografer i Sverige idag. Den blickar bakåt på debatten kring pressfotografer i historien, studerar pressfotografers arbete och diskuterar framtiden. Huvudfrågorna är:Vilka arbetsuppgifter ingår i en pressfotografs arbete?Hur har yrket förändrats de senaste 25 åren?Hur ser pressfotograferna på fotojournalistikens framtid?Metoderna har bestått av observationer, intervjuer och en enkätundersökning. Den första delen av resultaten gör nedslag på ett par bildredaktioner: Ingress Media, Nya Wermlands-Tidningen och Aftonbladet.

This study is about information needs and library habits among newly retired people. The purpose of this master thesis is to examine the affective and cognitive needs that come with retirement. In what way do the information needs of this group change due to retirement? In order to answer this question we make use of two theoretical models; Role theory and Wilson?s model of information needs. When it comes to library habits, we use Andersson and Skot-Hansens model to examine how newly retired people use the library now and how they could use it on basis of their needs in their new role.

Undersökningen behandlar barn som växer upp i missbrukarhem. Vi har valt att undersöka vilka faktorer i arv och miljö som kan leda till att barn i missbrukarhem följer eller bryter föräldrarnas mönster, med utgångspunkt i tidigare forskning, observation samt intervjuer med fyra vuxna personer. Anonyma Alkoholister kontaktades för att hitta frivilliga intervjupersoner, där vårt krav var att de skulle ha växt upp i ett missbrukarhem. Informanternas svar har jämförts med andra forskare som till exempel Bengtsson och Gavelin (2004) och Hansen (1995). I resultatbearbetningen har det framkommit likheter eller olikheter mellan informanterna.  Resultatet visar att det finns ett socialt arv, där barnen har sett och lärt sig sina föräldrars skäl till att dricka och deras dryckesmönster.Några barn har dock på olika sätt lyckats ta sig ur dessa riskbeteenden.

The purpose of this paper is to fill the gaps in current research on trade shows. The business-to-consumer aspect has been greatly ignored by academic theorists. We are aiming to make an exploratory study into during-show promotion practices. We will also create a continuation of the Hansen (1999) framework. In order to analyze "during-show promotion" two business-to-consumer trade shows; the ITB in Berlin and EuroHorse in Göteborg were visited.

The efficacy of screening for breast cancer with mammography has been a subject of controversy during the last decades. However, the general opinion is now that screening reduces mortality in breast cancer (Zackrisson, 2006). It is nevertheless important to weigh the efficacy against the harm and costs associated with screening. Cost-utility and cost-effectiveness analysis of screening have generally failed to incorporate side effects such as anxiety and discomfort related to screening tests and the following diagnostic tests (Gyrd-Hansen, 2000). This study seeks to include such side effects in a cost-utility analysis.

This Bachelor ?s thesis is about the conversations and meetings that take place in the mobile library. The research questions will try to answer: What do the staff talk about with each other, what conversations do the staff engage in with their users and what do the users talk about amongst themselves? The thesis main question is trying to answer of what is characteristic for the mobile library ?s conversations and meetings. Is the mobile library as a meetingplace any different in comparison with the city library? Focus lies on the eveningtours of the mobile library and excludes those tours that service schools and learning-centers.

The purpose of my essay is to study the current debate on public library as a meeting place in the Swedish daily press. I have examined how the meeting function is used and how it is perceived and what it might mean to the public library. Through a selection process, I chose 18 relevant newspaper articles from the year 2006 to 2012. By implementing a content analysis, three themes were distinguished; ?the meeting place as a place to reside on?, ?the meeting place as an inclusion? and ?the meeting place as a culture and activity house? I have used Andersson, Scot-Hansen and Rabers theoretical models of the library's roles for my analysis.

Integration projects at two libraries: multiculture, meetings and possibilities takes its start in the fact that Sweden is populated with people from many different nations. The libraries have a unique possibility to arrange integration projects as a supplier of culture and information. This case study focuses on two integration projects arranged by two libraries; the library of Jönköping with the project Brobyggarbiblioteken, and the library of Kortedala which was involved in the project Ordbron. My purpose is to find out how these two libraries chose to work with integration, migrants and multiculture. The aim is to examine if the library could function as a passway to the Swedish society, and to find out if the library can facilitate for migrants to maintain contact with their native country.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to study how university teachers look upon information literacy, what they consider the professional role of the academic librarian and how they value cooperation between the two professions. The methodology is based on qualitative interviews and is inspired by phenomenography. A limited number of qualitative interviews has been carried out in order to describe the attitudes and opinions of the university teachers related to my issue. I have also used the results of two theoreticians, Monica Hansen and Berth Danermark, who have studied cooperation between different professional groups.

Kunskapsöverföring har länge skett bland hantverkare och familjeföretagare, till lärlingar eller yngre generationer. Det är först på senare tid det finns ett begrepp för aktiviteten och en större medvetenhet bland företagsledare. (Hansen et al 1999:106) Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en djupare förståelse för begreppet kunskapsöverföring samt inringa faktorer som påverkar kunskapsöverföring mellan individer. Dessutom vill vi undersöka hur avbrutet ledarskap påverkar en organisations utveckling. Genom en kvalitativ fallstudie har vi intervjuat de fyra senaste ordförandena för studentorganisationen AIESEC Uppsala samt studerat material från samma organisation angående kunskapsöverföring.Vid en diskussion kring kunskapsöverföring funderade en av respondenterna kring hur varje ledare vill påverka organisationen, samtidigt som det är viktigt för denna ledare att förstå sin del i sammanhanget.
