This qualitative research is a contribution to the ongoing debate among marketing researchers regarding if there is a dominant paradigm and viewpoint of marketing and which one is the most appropriate. In this study current views of marketing are identified and then compared against the older Goods-Dominant Logic of Marketing and Vargos? and Luschs? alternative Service-Dominant Logic of Marketing. The trends that have been observed are situated in the framework of Thomas S. Kuhn?s philosophy of science.

Introduction: Dolomite AB was in need of a dummy arm for crutch testing, to complement their existing test capabilities. Background: A large number of people need crutches on a daily basis. For them it is essential that their crutches do not fail. ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) conducts ongoing work to guarantee the durability and function of e.g. crutches.

The automotive industry is increasingly studying lightweight solution in their designs, also rational production and low costs in materials and manufacturing methods are of great interest. This thesis consisted in the practical evaluation of anchors for sandwich panels. The object was to study loads of shearing and pull out of the plane. The experiments were carried out on panels made up of 1mm aluminium coatings and 50mm extruded polystyrene (XPS) at its core. As the fasteners used simple methods such as blind rivets, screw and glue.

This master thesis was carried out for Saab Avitronics, a business unit of Saab ABactive in electronic systems for military aircrafts. Reliability and weight are of crucialimportance in this environment. To improve reliability and lower the weight graphitemay be used for electronics cooling. Graphite is an anisotropic material and hasthereof high thermal conductivity in two directions (in-plane) and a relatively lowconductivity in the third direction (through thickness).The purpose of this thesis was to investigate if graphite is an adequate thermalconductor to use in PCB carriers. The carriers support and cool the PCB by divertingthe heat dissipation from the PCB components to the edge.

But just exactly how big and influential are they? Many, if not to say all,municipalities in Sweden wants IKEA to establish and build their famous stores in one oftheir towns. But at what cost? When deciding on a municipality to establish in, IKEAnormally tends to have an advantage when it comes to controlling the conditions and terms ofthe establishment.To undertake this dissertation I use a theory based upon the inter-organizational theoriescalled resource dependency theory.

Kunskapen om hur proprioceptionen skiljer sig mellan dominant och icke-dominant hand samt mellan m?n och kvinnor hos friska individer ?r begr?nsad.

Different methods for shelterwood cutting have been used in differ-ent parts of Europe since the middle ages. The use of shelter wood cutting in Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) forests in Sweden met a revival in the early 1990s as an alternative for the dominating clear-cutting system when silvicultural costs increased dramatically for the latter. Shelterwood cutting systems involve some possible problems but also a lot of positive effects. Among the problems are increased risk of wind throw and damage of the remaining shelter trees caused by the cutting operation. Positive effects are for example a valuable growth in the remaining trees and increased biological di-versity. This study is based on a total of 79 trees from 4 different treatments in a spruce shelterwood, cut in 1994, in the middle of Sweden (62,4º N).

Electromyography (EMG) is a technique that measures muscle activity, whichmeans detecting the electrical signals that travel through the muscle in connectionwith muscle contraction. This project deals with how EMG can be used tocontrol a computer game.The project is centered around the game 'EMG Track Game' which has beenconstructed as part of this work. 'EMG Track Game' is controlled by twoelectrodes fastened on the player. These are attached to two selected musclesand control the motion in one direction each, one up and the other one down.The game is constructed in the purpose of being used in several elds of application.Among these are as entertainment, training equipment and a tool inresearch related to EMG and muscles.To highlight a possible application a study concerning muscle control has beenconducted. It answers the question of whether players score better with theirdominant arm in comparison with their non-dominant one.

Frågeställningar i studien var: Hur stor är den anteriora och posteriora knälaxiteten i dominant respektive icke-dominant ben uppmätt med KT-1000 vid belastningar på 20 lb, 30 lb samt vid ett manuellt maxtest i anterior riktning? Föreligger det någon sidoskillnad mellan dominant och icke-dominant ben gällande knälaxitet uppmätt med KT-1000 vid anteriora och posteriora belastningar på 20 lb, 30 lb samt vid ett manuellt maxtest i anterior riktning? Hur stor andel av deltagarna uppvisar en sidoskillnad av sagittal knälaxitet på ? 2 mm respektive ? 3 mm uppmätt med KT-1000 och hur är frekvensen fördelad mellan dominant och icke-dominant ben hos dessa?Metod: För att besvara syfte och frågeställningar genomfördes en tvärsnittsstudie där 56 kvinnliga fotbollsspelare inom division 1-2 deltog. This study investigates augmented reality using third person perspective and what precision can be achieved by using this method. There have been prior studies in regards to precision using augmented reality, however studies using third person perspective is scarce. This study presents a solution using a static camera capturing the user as well as the plane to augment from behind. This augmented image is then transferred to a handheld device that is held by the user. Using this method the user will be free to manipulate and work with the plane without removing the device that captures the scene, a common problem when using visual reference markers in augmented reality.

This master theses deals with different methods for automatic tuning of the existing controller for external axis. Three methods for automatic tuning have been investigated. Two of these are based on the manuell method used today. The third method is based on optimal placement of the dominant poles. Different sensitivity functions are important for this method.
