Syfte ? Syftet med denna studie är att skildra de framgångsfaktorer och problem som kan uppstå vid implementeringen av det balanserade styrkortet inom en Division i ett svenskt landsting. Vi avser även att undersöka i vilken omfattning det balanserade styrkortet har spridits inom organisationen. Metod ? För att uppnå vårt syfte ansåg vi att en kvalitativ fallstudie var passande. En fallstudie är att föredra om man vill studera och öka förståelsen av en specifik händelse eller plats.

The precise questions are:? Which are the relevant contributions for the balance of power from a perspective of juridification in the new EU-treaty?? What impacts do those contributions have on the so called ?European federalism??The theoretical perspective of this study is rooted in the concept of federalism with special emphasizes on constitution and sovereignty as well as a part about the process of juridification. Along with the presented analytical model consisting of a horizontal and vertical Division of power, the empirical material is presented with focus on the new EU-treaty about a constitution for Europe and the European Court of Justice.

Hälsofrämjande arbete inom företag kan fungera på olika sätt, vilket kan ha betydelse för lärandet. För att lärandet ska ske i samband med hälsofrämjande arbete måste medarbetarna vara medvetna om att arbetet finns och hur det fungerar inom företaget. För att kunna bevara och utveckla lärandet i samband med hälsofrämjande arbete är det nödvändigt att utvärdera medarbetarnas behov. Därför var syftet med den aktuella uppsatsen att belysa några medarbetares, inom PEAB Bygg Division Västs, uppfattningar om hur ett framtida hälsofrämjande arbete ska kunna utvecklas på arbetsplatsen. För att undersöka ovanstående syfte hölls en fokusgrupp med fyra medarbetare från företaget.

In 2006 there was a change in LMA (1994:37) that clarified the Division of responsibility be-tween the Migration Board and the municipalities, concerning unaccompanied children. The social services should now be utmost responsible for the housing and care of these children, to assure that they gain the same standards and rights as all other children. The aim of this essay has been to examine how the Division of responsibility has influenced the work of the social services and how they interpret their responsibility for the unaccompanied children. How do the social services investigate and make decisions concerning these children? Do these chil-dren have the same rights as other children? To answer these questions a legal study was made, followed by qualitative research interviews with four social services that receive unac-companied children.

The purpose of this study is to describe if and how a seasonal based company named SkiStar, learns through the exchange of experience and knowledge. We have analyzed gathered qualitative and empirical data to explore this subject. We conducted three semi-structured group interviews with employees from the SkiStarshop Division. They described their routines and procedures in SkiStarshop. The collected data was processed and analyzed through our theoretical framework.

I detta 10-poängsarbete går jag igenom hur min egenhändigt producerade kvadratrotsalgoritm fungerar praktiskt och teoretiskt. Med denna algoritm kan man för hand räkna ut kvadratrötter som innehåller 50-60 värdesiffror. Med de tidigare kända algoritmerna för kvadratrötter kan man räkna ut 5-6 värdesiffror. Min algoritm fungerar inte på samma sätt som de tidigare använda kvadratrotsalgoritmerna men den är lika korrekt. Stor tyngdvikt i arbetet har därför lagts på att visa på att det finns flera olika korrekta algoritmer för våra vanliga räknesätt.

The Division of Language and Communication at Chalmers uses a web-based language tool, named EngOnline, to teach English grammar. The language tool suffers from some shortcomings. These include stability problems and an outdated interface but, above all, there is no documentation. Because of the lack of documentation and EngOnline?s need of maintenance, the Division of Language and Communication has decided to replace the language tool with a new and well documented one.The new language tool was developed using an agile work process; detailed documentation was replaced with more efficient communication.

Working with poor quality cost as a way ofcreating insight about defects within the company?s processes is a method developed and usedby the manufacturing industry for decades, but have not yet reached the construction industry.This study has been performed in collaboration with a Swedish construction company, wherethe author has been stationed at the aftersales Division for residential buildings. Owing tocircumstances, this published report has been made anonymous regarding the company whowill further on be namedthe Company. The Company is aware that warranty claims producegreat costs and has requested a way of putting cost and cause to specific claims in order ofreceiving a more specific cost view and to make the reuse of knowledge more efficient.

Det är inte alltid så lätt som förälder att förstå de algoritmer (räkneuppställningar) som barnen använder i skolan idag. Hur föräldrarna kan få hjälp med detta är en del av denna studie som genomförts med föräldrar och elever i en femteklass. Syftet med studien har varit att studera vilka olika algoritmer föräldrarna och eleverna i denna klass använder. För att få en uppfattning om föräldrarnas matematikundervisning har läroplaner från 1969 och framåt studerats med fokus på algoritmräkning. Några olika algoritmer i de fyra räknesätten som har behandlats i skolan genom tiderna presenteras, liksom en övergripande historik kring algoritmernas ursprung.

Vi har undersökt vilka räknefärdigheter en grupp elever i årskurs 9 på en skola i Växjö har i addition, subtraktion, multiplikation och Division. Vi har avgränsat studien till att behandla de naturliga talen och decimaltalen. De metoder, kunskaper och de svårigheter som åskådliggjorts har vi redovisat. Vi har även tagit reda på elevernas begreppsförståelse kring de fyra räknesätten. Vårt resultat bygger på en kvalitativ metod som består av ett test och två kompletterande intervjuer.

This thesis discusses and analyses the existence of two different perspectives, a social and a technical one, in Library and Information Science (LIS). Most of the time the Division between these perspectives seems to result in research only using either of them. This can be a problem when studying complex phenomena. We therefore see a need for a metatheory that unites the social and the technical. By presenting and analysing all doctoral dissertations published at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science (SSLIS) 1993-2005, we try to detect and critically discuss the dichotomy between the two perspectives.

Ett utvecklande ledarskap anses påverka organisationens motivation och prestation i positiv riktning. Försvarsmakten har sedan 2003 använt Gerry Larssons teori om det utvecklande ledarskapet som grund för ledarskap inom organisationen. Teorin anses vara gångbar såväl i militära sammanhang som i civila organisationer. Syftet med denna uppsats är att utifrån Försvarsmaktens ledarskapsmodell om Det utvecklandeledarskapet undersöka till vilken grad modellen tillämpas vid flygvapnets Divisioner. Delar av frågeformuläret Utvecklande Ledarskap Ledarbedömning användes för att kartlägga den genomsnittlige ledarstilen.

The aim of the study is to examine different statements for and against regional identity in the research of the new organisation of the Swedish society. The aim is also to observe in what extend the Swedish committee of responsibility has had an awareness of the identity politics in its effort to improve the presumptions for the new, successful regional Division.The questions are:1. In which ways do the opinions of the participant of the work of the committee of responsibility, coincide and differ when it comes to the importance of the regional identity in the case of a new regional Division?2. How has the committee of responsibility worked on development of consciousness and mobilisation for the creation of the regional identity in its final report?A method called the argumentation analysis was used in this study.

Undersökningar har visat att många elever har bristfälliga kunskaper i bråkräkning när de lämnar grundskolan. Eleverna har särskilt stora problem med att kunna utföra korrekta multiplikationer och Divisioner med bråk inblandat. Med bakgrund av detta har jag intresserat mig för hur läroböckerna hanterar dessa frågor. Jag har därför genomfört en läromedelsanalys av två olika läroboksserier som är aktuella i undervisningen på två högstadieskolor i Karlstad.Dessa två läroboksserier är Matte Direkt år 7-9 och Matematikboken XYZ. Jag har beskrivit och analyserat de relevanta avsnitten ur instrumentella och relationella aspekter, samt även gjort en jämförelse med Margareta Löwings förslag på metod att arbeta med bråk.
