This essay is a discourse analysis of the integration politics of the different parties in the Swedish parliament and the non-parliamentary party ?the Swedish Democrats?, as it is presented on their respective web pages. The overall purpose is to problematize and shed a light on how the current discourse(s) about integration are constituted. Also of interest is how these construct our knowledge and experience of the phenomena. We furthermore want to illustrate the social consequences of such discourses on the construction and organization of identities and groups, and, as a result, the courses of action that becomes available.

In this report female farmers use of technical equipment is investigated. There is little research made on this subject in Sweden, therefore this report can be seen as an explorative study. Research makes it clear that machinery, throughout history and even today, has been seen as a male area. Heavy machines are often associated with the same attributes as masculinity. Force, power, efficiency and control are some examples.

The aim of this study is to examine how the induction period for newly employed upper secondary school teachers is implemented in practice, in relation to the Swedish Education Act and the National Agency for Education?s general guidelines. Although this induction period has been legally mandated since 2010, both previous research and current statistics indicate significant shortcomings or wide variation in its practical execution. The study is based on a qualitative interview study involving 13 school leaders. The interview responses were analyzed using three complementary theoretical frameworks: Lipsky?s theory of street-level bureaucracy, Meyer and Rowan?s concept of decoupling, and Schein?s model of organizational culture.

I have also read the Commission of Inquiry's recommendation according abolishing the law regarding the compulsory nation and student union membership. This bachelor essay studies families that have migrated from countries in Europe to Sweden,and their experiences of adapting to new conditions of the Swedish welfare state. Theirexperiences are studied firstly from an institutional point of view, which refers to the family?s experience of adapting family life to Swedish family social policy. Secondly it focuses how the families experience new norms and values connected to Swedish family social policy. The main aim is to seek what problems families migrating to Sweden might be confronted with when adapting to new conditions of the welfare state.

The aim of this thesis was to look closer into the shelf arrangement and user behavior in a fiction collection with the municipal library in Lund as an example. The purpose was to investigate to what extent the shelf arrangement in this library is adapted to the behavior of users when it comes to searching for and choosing fiction. The study is mainly focused on the Division between Hc- and Hce-classified books (Swedish fiction and fiction translated into Swedish), the special shelving of the publications of the last five years, and the genre categorization. The user behavior is primarily examined from the perspective of three search strategies; looking for a specific author or title, browsing within a genre or browsing without having a specific genre in mind. The study also deals with within which genres of fiction the users are searching and if they are looking for a book that is translated or not, new or older.

In May 2008, the Swedish Government proclaimed several proposals in order to increase the status of the teaching profession. One of the proposals was that each teacher should be obligated to obtain a "teaching license" to be allowed to teach. The license/certification will guarantee that the teacher has the sufficient knowledge of pedagogy and subject obtained from University. The existing teachers who do not hold a proper certification today will be given a certain time period to attain one. The teachers that are certificated teachers but that are giving lessons in subjects not certificated in will be given a chance to obtain the proper knowledge of the subject.

In this analyse of form and content have I also chose to study how the magazine present femininity and how this affect the female identity.Material/Method: The material consists of 4 magazines from Solo and Solo G during 2005. A qualitative text analysis has then been used as a method of analysing the material.Main results: Solo G focuses a lot more on celebrities than Solo. Solo G uses the celebrities as role models to the youth to look up to.

I den här studien undersöker vi hur sportjournalister hanterar lagsympatier i sin yrkesroll och hur den oskrivna regeln ?no cheering in the press box? följs i praktiken. Vi har genomfört 17 kvalitativa samtalsintervjuer med sportjournalister som bevakar fotboll och ishockey från rikstäckande medier i Stockholm. 14 av respondenterna säger sig hålla på lag. Dessa lag sträcker sig från Division 4 i Sverige till topplag i olika delar av världen.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om det föreligger ett samband mellan graden av egentillverkning (ET) och innovation samt hur detta samband i så fall ser ut. Metoden är en kombination av litteraturstudier och telefonintervjuer med företrädare för 24 olika företag i Europa som tillverkar packningar. De flesta av dessa företag ingår i Trelleborgskoncernens Sealing Solutions Division men även externa, liknande, företag har ingått i undersökningen. Intervjuerna har varit semistrukturerade och syftat till att få reda på de olika företagens innovations- och outsourcingsituation. Informationen som erhållits från intervjuerna har analyserats både kvantitativt och kvalitativt för att finna ett samband mellan graden av ET och innovation.
