Alltid har mjukvaruföretagen varit intresserade av att bedriva applikationsutvecklingen så effektiv och lönsam som möjligt. För detta avseende använder många utav dem olika CASE-verktyg. Ett sådant CASE-verktyg är VISIO 2000 Enterprise. CASE-verktyg kan t ex användas för att genomföra transformeringar mellan modeller och koder. Denna möjlighet underlättar applikationsutvecklingen, men tyvär kan sådana transformeringar medföra eventuella förluster av data och leda till att eventuella semantiska förluster uppstår.

Title: The lost song. A study of a reconstruction process. I was asked by the daughter of the Swedish composer Svea Welander (1898 1985) for help to reconstruct a now lost song for voice and piano originally composed by her mother, where the melody of the song was used in the second movement of her first string quartett. The song was composed in 1955, words by Wilhelm Ekelund. My aim has been to describe the process of reconstructing the song.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att undersöka huruvida informationsteknik skapar möjligheter för tredje världen att utvecklas eller om IT i stället ökar klyftan mellan industriländer och utvecklande länder. Centralt i min diskussion har varit frågorna om globalisering och IT kan bidraga till en ny politisk ordning som grundas på dialog och samtycke i stället för våld och makt samt om globalisering och IT kan bidraga till en mer rättvis värld. Teoretisk utgångspunkt har varit Andrew Linklaters teori om "the triple transformation of political community". Tanken bakom den tredelade transformation är att skapa ökade sociala relationer som är mer universalistiska till sin natur, mindre ojämlika samt mer känsliga för kulturella skillnader. I mitt arbete påvisar jag tendenser till att informationstekniken kan bidraga till ökad universalism samt till ökad känslighet för kulturella skillnader.

This bachelor essay aims to illuminate different images and ideas about Bellevue industrial area.The area is situated in a district in Gothenburg, called Gamlestaden, where Bellevue industrialarea is a former industrial area, today mostly used by minor occupations. The district is facing amajor transformation, based on a detailed master plan. One aim is to create a district with mixedfunctions; like residences, businesses, offices, services and cultural activities all together. Thisessay is based mainly from a user perspective, but it also has the perspective from the ideas andvisions by the City Planning Office.The material is mainly based on interviews with seven informants, representing different kinds ofoccupations in the area. One interview is also made with a city planner.

The main purpose of this master thesis is to identify the issues concerning the transformation process of a product oriented company into a service oriented company, and how these issues can be overcome. We will exemplify this by developing a dewatering pump rental concept for ABS, and identify the drivers and barriers for ABS when implementing the service oriented rental concept in Sweden and Poland. This master thesis is based on the systems perspective. The reason for this is the required holistic perspective, where the system has to be regarded from different points of departure in order to be understood. The theoretical studies include services and change management.

Distriktssköterskors fördelning av arbetstid är lite utvärderad. Tidigare studier visar dock att en stor del av sjuksköterskors och distriktssköterskors arbete inom slutenvården och öppenvården används till arbete som ligger utanför den patientnära omvårdnaden. Syfte: Syftet med föreliggande studie har varit att kartlägga hur distriktssköterskor fördelar sin arbetstid mellan direkt och indirekt patientarbete och övrig tid, om distriktssköterskors fördelning av arbetstid skiljer sig mellan olika stora vårdcentraler och vilka erfarenheter distriktssköterskor har av förhållandet mellan direkt och indirekt patientarbete och övrig tid. Metod: Studien är genomförd som en deskriptiv tvärsnittsstudie med kvantitativ och kvalitativ ansats med självskattningsformulär och intervjuer. Resultat: Resultatet visade att av distriktssköterskornas totala arbetstid utgjordes 51 % av direkt patientarbete, 30 % av indirekt patientarbete och 19 % av övrig tid.

Kommunikationsteknikens framväxt och en allt mer intensifierad konkurrens har bidragit till att marknadsföringen tagit en mer intensiv och närgången form. Genom att rikta reklamen direkt till den potentiella kunden har det också blivit nödvändigt att behandla diverse personuppgifter. Ett medium som blivit viktigt för marknadsföraren är Internet och att därigenom skicka direkt marknadsföring till e- postadress, en marknadsföringsmetod som har kommit att bli tämligen ifrågasatt då den på olika sätt ansetts kränka den personliga integriteten. Inom området har olika EG- direktiv skapas för att motverka denna risk för kränkning som kan uppstå i samband med markandsföring och den teknikutveckling som skett och fortfarande sker. Genom Sveriges medlemskap i EU har således de nationella lagarna kommit att påverkas.

This paper is a Master thesis for the Master?s program in International and European Relations in the Department of Management and Economics at Linköping University. As the title indicates, the aim of this thesis is to make a comparative analysis of the conflict resolution initiatives that were employed in the Sierra Leonean and Liberian conflicts. The research questions are: ? What were the root causes and trajectories of the Sierra Leonean and Liberian conflicts? ? What were the conflict resolution initiatives employed in resolving both conflicts? ? Why did the Lome Peace Accord succeed in the case of Sierra Leone whilst the Abuja Peace Accord failed in bringing peace to Liberia? In order to answer the afore-mentioned questions and fulfil the aim of this paper, a qualitative research method has been chosen.

The purpose of this study is to analyze which communication strategies andinformation- and communication channels that Gällivare municipality should useunder the urban transformation to communicate with the citizens. The escalating usage of pyrethroids has resulted in an increased awareness about resistance towards pyrethroids in insects. Pyrethroids inhibit voltage-sensitive sodium channels (VSSC) in nerve cell membranes and are composed of synthetic molecules based on pyrethrins present in pyrethrum extracts from Chrysanthemum species. VSSC are transmembrane proteins that are important for electric signalling over the membrane in insects. Mutations in the gene encoding the sodium channel have proved to be a common reason for resistance against pyrethroids. Pyrethroid resistance among pollen beetles is spread all over Sweden and also abroad and is increasing.

This essays overarching aim is to contribute to the theoretical discussion of transformation processes that are shaping the urban landscapes and further to problematize contemporary planning discourses in Sweden. Drawing on the concept of Foucault?s heterotopia and actor-network theory for spatial analysis, the paper seeks to analyze the complex urban landscape transformation process as an emergent property of human and non-human actor-networks seeking to transform and order space. With the district of Rosenlund in Gothenburg as a starting point, this thesis intends to examine how the cultural infrastructure - used by the residents and visitors of the city - are related to the city's planning and development processes. The case study is based on a boat (Rio Rio) in Rosenlund canal that is defined as a cultural infrastructure.

The main purpose of this essay is to interpret possible pattern in social extraction, among future male elementary school teachers, at Karlstads elementary school teachers seminar over time. The questions that intend to concrete the purpose, and describe the possible pattern of social backgrounds are following; Where do the future male elementary school teachers come from? How the social recrutiment is divided in professional categorys, and is there any distinction in the pattern of social recrutiment over time? Which social groups were represented at Karlstads elementary school teachers seminar between the year of 1860-1940, and how they were divided.At the categorization of occupation, class- and social belongings I´ve used Sten Carlssons theory of professional categories (the social transformation in Sweden after 1866) which also was used by Kerstin Skog-Östlin in her dissertation Pedagogical control and authortity.The changes in the pattern of social recruitment of male future elementary school teachers were following; the proportion of students with agricultural backgrounds has decreased between the year of 1860 and the turn of the century. Further there was a substantial reduction of students with agricultural backgrounds between the turn of the century and the year of 1940. Students with agricultural backgrounds had the lowest represented frequency according to the investigation.
