The purpose of this study is to analyse the discourse on political exclusion in the official report Demokratiutredningen. It has been my ambition to relate the analysis of the report to a critical academic discourse on political exclusion and thereby make visible hidden norms and structures which functions to exclude certain individuals and groups from political participation.My paper point out that the report establishes a strong link between democracy and participation and that it, therefore, makes a strong case for a process of democratic inclusion. Though, in my study I suggest that that there is an unawareness of the importance of norms, hegemonic conceptions and structures and that inclusion, therefore, is unlikely to take place. Furthermore, I criticize the focus on deliberative democracy in the report. With insights offered by Mouffe in her argumentation on the necessity to acknowledge the Dimension of antagonism present in all societies I underline that the focus on this democratic model is problematic.My conclusion is that the analysis presented in the report is insufficient if we want to create a democratic system characterized by equality..

In order to fully grasp the phenomena 'City' we must understand its political structure as an integrated part of its physical structure and vice versa. This thesis focuses on one crucial element of the City, the public space, and discusses it in relation to the public realm, or sphere, of the City. The aim is to see if it is possible to conceive public space as a spatial Dimension of power, and if so, how to analyse this. With the help of the theoretical tool of two ideal types of the configuration of public space, "The city as civic public life" and "The city as authoritarian control" an empirical study is carried out on the case of Prishtina, capital of Kosovo.Conclusions made are that function and use of a city's public spaces can be understood in relation to changes in the political climate of the society. Furthermore, a void in the asset of concepts offered by the ideal types is found ? and therefore also need for new concepts to describe and understand a public space undergoing a dynamic transformation, as being a part of a city in political transition..

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to describe the perception of value and risk in CSR as well as analyzing how financial institutions influence responsible behavior in business in order to create sustainable economic growth.Methodology: The study has a qualitative research method used by an abductive process. Data has been collected through semi-structured interviews with respondents from three venture capital companies and three banks. The sample of respondents was done through a convenience sample with respect to access and expertise in the research area.Conclusion: The most important meanings of the research results have shown that CSR holds an intrinsic value concerning contributing value as its conceptual meaning in terms of sustainable development. CSR can also be regarded as a Dimension of risk management to reduce the risk of negative externalities on corporate activities. Investors and financiers contribute to sustainable companies through active ownership and improvements in the CSR Dimensions.

The Swedish alcohol policy has by tradition a restrictive composition, with high taxes and the Swedish Alcohol Retailing Monopoly as important elements. The Moderate Party has been powerful critics of the alcohol policy and has advocated a reformation. However, today the Moderate Party seems to have changed the attitude towards the alcohol policy and it even supports the Swedish initiative to create cooperation about alcohol matters at the EU level.This thesis examines why the Moderate Party has changed its attitude towards the restrictive alcohol policy. Three aspects have been considered: the rise of a European public policy, strategic choice, and the influence of the political environment. The paper discusses the problem from a strategic perspective, which means that the political change is viewed as a result of strategic considerations.The party has indeed been affected by all of the three aspects, although to different extent.

The purpose of this essay is to compare the works of Jalal ad-din Rumi and Fakhr al-dinAraqi to see which ideas of God the two writers want to convey. Rumi and Araqi weretwo actors in the mystical Dimension of Islam, who lived in the thirteenth century inwhat is today Turkey. Both were of Persian birth and their works were written inPersian.The material I have chosen to work with is Lama´at by Araqi and parts of theMasnavi by Rumi. Both of them have been translated into Swedish by Ashk Dahlén.The theoretical premiss is taken from Influence in art and literature by GöranHermerén. My method is to find images for God in the texts to see which ideas of Godthe two writers want to convey.My review shows that many of the images come from the Koran and speak ofpersonal qualities of God.

Utredningen har sitt ursprung i ett uppdrag givet av Försvarsmakten till FHS att utreda formernaför studerandeinflytande i officersutbildningssystemet med anledning av att FHS även fått programansvarför yrkesofficersutbildningen.Syftet har varit att lämna ett förslag på ett för hela officersutbildningen sammanhållet system förstuderandeinflytande och en plan för dess implementering.Utredningen har huvudsakligen genomförts som en kvalitativ analys av författningar, styrdokumentoch aktuella arbetshandlingar. En värdering av FHS rådande system för studerandeinflytandehar också genomförts. Vidare innehåller en utredningen en fallstudie av hur studerandeinflytandetär organiserat vid ett civilt lärosäte med distribuerad utbildning.Utredningens förslag omfattar ett system för studerandeinflytande som har såväl en lokal somcentral Dimension. De studerande i officersutbildningssystemet bör organiseras i en riksomfattandegemensam studentkår som inledningsvis utgår från Studentkåren FHS. Förslaget innebäräven att studerandeinflytandet framgent främst skall utövas i de organ i linjeorganisationen sombereder och beslutar i frågor som berör utbildningen och de studerandes situation.De förtroendevalda vid FM skolor och FHS skall ges möjlighet att under hösten 2006 konstituerasig.

Det här examensarbetet är utfört som ett uppdrag åt Byggteknik AB.Problematiken som examensarbetet behandlar är att förstärka en pelaresom är inbyggd i en i övrigt färdig vägg. Anledningen tillförstärkningen kan till exempel vara att en felaktig Dimension av enpelare byggs in i väggen. Förstärkningsåtgärden kommer att bestå avatt plåtar med olika storlek och utsträckning längs med pelaren svetsasfast, vilket ger en ökad stabilitet och bärförmåga hos en pelare.Arbetets huvudmoment har bestått av litteraturstudier för attundersöka olika tillvägagångssätt att räkna på pelarens stabilitet ochbärförmåga, samt beräkningar utifrån valda metoder. Lyckebo farm is the original name of the four building big farm, where year 2000, the former farmer established Maglarp/ Lyckebo golfcourse on his land of culture. In 2007, new owners are approaching the Maglarps golfcourse with thoughts of expanding the business. A first step in that direction is to form the area of the entrance, the specific area the visitors are staying at before entering the actual golfcourse to play. The designproposal is inspired by the peasant garden history of southern Sweden during the nineteenth centuary. It also aims to satisfy the demands of function and usefullness of a golfcourse today.

This master's thesis aims to study the relationship between two publiclibraries and Berättarministeriet, a foundation that offers free writingworkshops for children in areas with high levels of unemployment. Theworkshops are located in spaces that formerly belonged to the libraries.Questions posed in this thesis are How can the relationship between thelibraries and Berättarministeriet be described?, Why did the relationship turnout differently in the two places? and How does the library see itself, inrelation to Berättarministeriet?The theories used are Ögland's taxonomy for relationships between librariesand local organizations, and Folkesson's theory on interaction betweendifferent professional groups, and this was studied through interviews. Theresults showed a relationship without much interaction, beyond a "handover"of children from one place to the other, with time and shortness of staff beingcontributing factors to the low level of collaboration. Regarding the differentrelationships in the two places the results were not conclusive, butnevertheless showed tendancies of issues in the legitimacy Dimension, fromthe library towards Berättarministeriet.

Varje dag insjuknar mellan femton till tjugo kvinnor i bröstcancer i Sverige. På senare år har det skett en ökning av sjukdomen som forskarna ännu inte vet orsaken till. För varje kvinna som drabbas av bröstcancer innebär det en total förändring av hennes liv. För vårdpersonal som möter dessa kvinnor är det viktigt att tänka på att kvinnorna vanligtvis befinner sig i någon krisreaktion. Under mötet är kommunikationen grundläggande för förståelsen mellan människor.

Uppsatsen behandlar informationsoperationer från en operativ synvinkel. Teorianknytningen görs gentemotmanöverteorin, med dess delmängd manöverkrigföring. Syftet med uppsatsen är att besvara vilka förmågor tillinformationsoperationer som finns i Försvarsmakten idag samt vilka möjligheter de skapar för framtiden medfokus på år 2010. Detta exemplifieras genom ett scenario, en strategisk typsituation, där uppsatsen svarar påhur dessa förmågor skall användas som en del i striden i en fiktiv fredsframtvingande insats inom ramen förEU: s krishanteringsstyrka.Utifrån de förmågor som redan finns idag och som har vidareutvecklats fram till år 2010 skapas förslag till attutveckla ytterligare förmågor. Med den strategiska typsituationen som fond föreslås att en förbättrad förmågatill psykologiska operationer och nätverksattacker bör skapas.

Background: Performance measurement as a management control tool has received considerable academic attention. As the number of inter-organisational relationships, such as customer-supplier relationships, increases, there is a new scope for performance measurement as a management control tool. In order for a company to assess the effectiveness of its supplier relationships it has to define, measure and evaluate variables that are critical for the success of the relationship. The role of management control, and thereby of performance measurement, has increasingly been discussed in theory. However, empirical research in this area is still somewhat limited.

Research where personality in animals is studied is becoming more and more common. In this area there are different concepts like behavioural syndrome and animal personality and they usually talk about consistency in behaviour over time and situations. This consistent individual behaviour can be used as an indicator of how individuals can handle and adjust to new situations in the environment. Because of this, personality studies in animals are very important in animal welfare. In this study personality in dairy cattle in lose housing were studied.

Sound surrounds us in a great extent, we all have experiences of sound and this phenomena has a great meaning in our lives. High levels of sound might be harmful for your hearing and might also cause related difficulties such as tinnitus and sensitivity to sound. Studies reveal a connection between the attitudes toward high levels of sound and the risk behaviours in these situations. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences and meaning of sound and whether the attitudes toward sound will reflect in a family consisting parents and adolescents. A family consisting two parents and two adolescents participated each and one of them in an interview in this qualitative study that has been carried out of a phenomenological approach.
