This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka vad som påverkar Drömer Selecteds kunders uppfattning av tjänstekvalitet vid köp av den erbjudna tjänsten. Undersökningen har genomförts med hjälp av tjänstekvalitetsmodellen SERVQUAL, utformad av Parasuraman et al. och primärdata har samlats in genom intervjuer med Magnus Drömer, ägare till Drömer Selected, samt med fyra av företagets befintliga kunder. En jämförelse mellan vad kunden förväntar sig av förstklassiga klädföretag och vad de sedan upplever att Drömer Selected levererar görs i undersökningen och beskrivs sedan i empirin. Data har sedan analyserats genom en sammanfogning mellan SERVQUAL-modellens fem Dimensioner och Grönroos? modell för upplevd tjänstekvalitet.

Syftet med denna studie var att göra en jämförelse mellan kommunalt och privat arbetsgivaransvar vid personlig assistans ur ett personalperspektiv. En viktig Dimension av assistansyrket är om och i så fall hur kommunen och ett privat assistansbolag skiljer sig åt som arbetsgivare. Arbetsgivarens organisering kan få betydelse för vad de erbjuder de personliga assistenterna i form av exempelvis fortbildning, handledning och annat stöd. Studien bygger på litteratur som skrivits inom området samt personliga intervjuer, vilka har analyserats. Frågeområden som berörts är: yrket personlig assistans, introduktion och utbildning, handledning, inflytande och påverkansmöjligheter samt anställning.

News value is an essential part of which event media chooses to report about. Political events consider to bee news with potentional large value. Media has an enormous power and possibility to create news and construct there own reality and where the readers is given a false expression of what really happened. Today the media must show profit and that indirect affects how the media choose to describe political events. In the Kenya case is it therefore possible to draw the conclusion that the two news paper has different construction of the political event in Kenya.

I vårt examensarbete har vi experimenterat medtraditionella hantverkstekniker i syfte att hitta nya sättatt använda oss av dem i inredningar och på möbler.Som tapetserare var vi intresserade av att utgå ifråndessa tekniker för att upptäcka nya sätt att skapaspännande strukturer i klädselarbetet på möbler.I den inledande delen går vi in på de frågor vi villundersöka samt vad som är målet med vårt arbete.Därefter följer huvuddelen där de praktiska testernaredovisas. Här har vi praktiskt testat och arbetatutifrån ett stort antal tekniker för att se vilka som harpotential att användas för vårt syfte. Dessa har tillstörsta delen varit väl beprövade hantverksteknikersom vi har försökt förnya till exempel genom attanvända oss av andra material än vad som vanligtvisanvänds, ändra Dimension eller enbart genom attsätta in tekniken i ett nytt sammanhang. I denavslutande delen beskriver vi utvecklingen ochresultatet av ett fåtal tekniker som vi arbetat vidaremed. Vi avslutar med en sammanfattning och enreflekterande diskussion.Det har varit en otroligt spännande och kreativprocess som har utmynnat i många intressanta idéeroch objekt..

The integration of the Internet in our society has shaped alot of the things we do in our lives. The Web allows us to achieve certain things directly through our computers, such as reading the paper and paying our bills. But this integration has also lead to another interesting change. Activists have begun to unload their operations onto the Net instead of holding on to the more traditional demonstrations performed in squares. This study aims to look into the world of cyberactivism and examine how cyberactivists experience the way activism has changed as a result of using the Internet.

Regionalism is a concept of extensive proportions and as such is complex to define. This phenomenon becomes much clearer by studying it from different perspectives. This paper focuses on regional political parties and description of their political ideas. The goal of this paper is to examine and compare regional political parties in two Swedish regions: Norrbotten and Skåne. By studying two biggest regional parties in these regions, namely Norrbottensparti and Skånepartiet, I will try to get an insight into the regional politics, as well as illustrate regionalism and its meaning.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether social counselling via chat conversations could meet the criteria for a professional conversation, and how the six social workers who were interviewed felt that it had affected the profession and the clients who are seeking their help.Communication, professionality, power, roles and regions are the key topics of this study. A hermeneutic approach has not only influenced the interviews but also the content analysis that was used to encode the results.The interviews revealed that the chat conversations was a successful tool but not entirely without difficulties. The initial contact making between the client and the social worker favours the client, since she/he remains anonymous and that was the main advantage of the method. The biggest concern however was that in the anonymity it is not possible to report cases that the social worker are obligated to. The changing of forum does not necessarily affect the professionality but due to the faceless chat conversation an entire Dimension of communication disappears because the loss of body language.

I have investigated the political culture of post-communist Russia. For a long time it has been assumed that, the history is of great importance in shaping the political culture. I wanted to find out if this was true, I chose to study the political culture of Russia. How great effects had the autocratically legacy of Soviet Union in the democratisation of Russia? My thesis show that the role of history isn't of such great importance, instead it's the Russian state that has had the greatest possibility of shaping the political culture of Russia but it failed.

There is desire to evaluate the tracheal diameter in the Swedish population of English Bulldog, a breed with breathing disorders, and if possible use it as a criteria for breeding in the hope of improving the life situation for these dogs. The Swedish Kennel Club has together with the Swedish Club for English Bulldog and veterinarians presented a five year radiological study that has the purpose to give an average look on how the tracheal situation is in the population. The trachea will be evaluated through two different methods, both measuring two distances in the thorax. The first one compares the tracheal diameter to the height of the cranial opening of the thorax, and the second one to the width of the third rib. With the measured distances one will calculate a quotient and compares it to the reference values.This study is designed to get a preliminary evaluation, based on the 65 dogs that were available on the time for the study, with measurements done by two persons on three different occasions each.

A tough working climate and the lack of extrinsic motivation at workplaces within health care raise the question of what instead drives employees within this industry. A possible answer to this is Public Service Motivation (PSM) - a type of motivation that is based on the desire to do good for society and its individuals. In order to investigate this further we have performed a qualitative study consisting of ten interviews with people working with institutional care, where the purpose has been to identify the sources of motivation and determine the impact of PSM. The results show that the compassion Dimension of PSM appears to be one of the most salient motivational factors. While the rest of the PSM Dimensions fail to explain the level of motivation to the same extent as compassion, other factors are recognized, such as relatedness and aspects of the nature of the work itself.

At the Congress of the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO) in 1991 a decision was made to reform LOs politics of gender. In the new resolution class and gender were established as equal causes of oppression. This was a giant leap from LOs traditional politics, where the Dimension of class had always been considered more important than gender. The present thesis discusses how gender was constructed in LOs discourse after 1990 by analysing their official publications about gender politics called Klass och kön. The key terms in the analysis are continuity and change.

ABSTRACTTitle: Cultural Dimensions? and their relevance in the interpretation of TV commercialsThe purpose of this study has been to explain the cultural Dimensions masculinity versus femininityand individualism versus collectivism and see what their impacts on interpreting commercials are.We also wanted to see if there are any other important aspects to consider when looking at theinterpretation of TV-commercials. To fulfill this purpose we also used this research question:?How are the cultural Dimensions relevant when it comes to interpreting TV-commercials?We used a qualitative approach when conducting this study. We found that the Dimensionindividualism versus collectivism seemed the most applicable, while the respondents? answers fittedthe best to the highlighted theories.

Moderna ledarskapsteorier lyfter fram ledarens utvecklingsbefrämjande funktion och ser flera likheter mellan ledarskap och föräldraskap. Syftet med studien är att konstruera ett ledarskapstest som bygger på Marte Meo-metodens Dimensioner för hur man skapar en utvecklingsstödjande dialog. De åtta Dimensionerna omtolkades från ett föräldra/barnsammanhang till ett ledare/medarbetarsammanhang. Därefter skapades fem testuppgifter utifrån operationella definitioner av varje Dimension. När etthundra testpersoner hade besvarat testet undersöktes varje Dimensions reliabilitet med hjälp av Cronbachs alpha.

The main purpose of this essay is to look closer at how and when the Swedish women?s organization Grupp 8 changed their initial socialistic ideological approach and turned it into a feministic one during 1971 to 1979. By 1979 the group was referring to them self as a feministic movement. This is done by analyzing the way Grupp 8: s discussion in the areas of women in relation to work, family and society changes. The primary information is represented by the groups own magazine Kvinnobulletinen.
