Syftet med studien är att studera vilken syn fritidspedagogerna har på barns fria lek och kunskapsmöjligheterna genom den fria leken. Undersökningen är genomförd med intervjuer av åtta fritidspedagoger. I resultatet framkommer att den fria leken enligt fritidspedagogerna spelar stor roll i barnens vardag för deras lärande och utveckling. Pedagogerna anser att de stödjer barnen genom att delta i leken genom att observera och ta fram material. De anser också att miljön har stor betydelse.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore the phenomenon called bookcrossing. To fulfill this I have asked the following research questions: Why do people participate in bookcrossing?What functions do books have for bookcrossers? The method used is qualitative, semi structured interviews. Four active bookcrossers have been interviewed. These interviews revealed that bookcrossing as an activity in a medium sized town is very small.

The aim of this paper is to investigate who the visitors are at a children's department at amain library in a larger municipality, and for what purpose they use it. We discuss: Is therea difference between various user groups, and if so, how do they differ'? Which library rolesdoes the children's department have? Does the children's department serve as a local libraryfor those who live in the immediate surroundings or as a main library for the whole municipality?The paper is based on a user survey performed in the spring of 1996 at the City Library ofGothenburg. 417 visitors and five staff members were interviewed.The children's department is used by various groups of people, from young children to seniorcitizens. The library roles are, among other things, an independent learning center and formaleducation support center.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att kommunikativt sänka kraven på musikkulturell förkunskap vid interaktion med det digitala musikarkivet Every Noise At Once. Studien tog stöd i teorier inom kognitiv semantik och teknisk kommunikation.De metoder som användes var omvärldsanalys, expertintervjuer och receptionsanalys. Längs arbetets gång formades en hypotes som sedan prövades genom empirisk datainsamling och analys av denna.Resultatet antydde att vi förstår musik, och gör oss språkligt förstådda om musik, via taktila och visuella metaforer. Detta resultat guidade sedan gestaltningen av en prototyp där utvalda akustiska attribut översattes till liknelser med taktil och visuell koppling. .

The purpose of this essay is to study the process of developing electronic subject guides for the Internet. Our focus is the content, structure and layout of the subject guide. The study has resulted in a number of guidelines that may be of help in the development of future subject guides. To achieve this purpose we have studied the existing subject guide at one of the faculties of the University of Lund, Sweden. We performed a series of interviews with the originators, and made a questionnaire for the users.

Jag har valt att studera hur valet av barnlitteratur ser ut på tre förskolor. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur barnlitteraturen kommer till förskolan. Den väg som jag inriktat mig på är pedagoger på förskolor som är verksamma som läsinspiratörer via biblioteket. Jag undersöker hur de påverkar urvalet av böcker som finns för barnen på förskolan. Genom att undersöka vägen som litteraturen tar innan den hamnar på förskolan vill jag synliggöra valet som biblioteket och pedagogerna gör av böcker och se hur anpassad litteratururvalet blir till barnen.

Som avslutande del i högskoleingenjörsutbildningar ingår ofta ett examensarbete. Denna rapport behandlar ett examensarbete som utförts för avdelningen för datorkommunikation och datalogi vid Luleå Tekniska Universitet. Avdelningen för datorkommunikation och datalogi har sedan tidigare använt sig av ett webbaserat system för hantering av BibTeX-databaser. Systemet var skrivet i Perl och bestod av tre skript och ett BibTeX-bibliotek. Med senare versioner av Perl och användandet av BibTeX-biblioteket uppstod vissa problem, den nya versionen av Perl var inte längre kompatibelt med BibTeX- biblioteket.

The essay deals with adult education from a local perspective more specifically that ofthe IOGT lodge Leon Garnbetta in Varberg. The material that has been used covers a limited period of time, which stretches from 1883 to 1926.This temperance lodge was founded in 1883 and is still active. The essay provides a historical survey of the temperance movement in Sweden and depicts the ideas behind adult educa­tion, but it also gives a more general historical account of the town of Varberg and its popu­lar movements.By studying handwritten records from the lodge it is possible to establish a picture of its work, activities, discussions, its striving for democracy, educational activities and the principles behind these and finally the lodge's own library which was started at an early stage. All these aspects are then treated in a historical and a political context..

Det övergripande syftet med denna uppsats är att försöka förstå hur unga kvinnor upplever att ha ett digitalt jag på den sociala medieplattformen Facebook. För att få en förståelse av deras upplevelse har jag valt att dela upp teoriavsnittet i två större delar. Den första delen syftar på att förklara konsekvenserna av att leva i en värld som präglas av medier. Utgångspunkten ligger i McLuhans välkända begrepp ?The medium is the message?
