Implementation av en 3D applikation i Macromedia's Director
för Pan Vision Studio
This 3d navigation application is a part of a project that helps the user to learn and find the right position on a map with many exercises, the user has a compass nearby that he/she can use to find the position that requires to get the right answer on that particular exercise. Macromedia's Director is used for the creating of the program, where Lingo has a importent part as the script language for the scenes in Director. A 3D scene is build up with codes in Lingo, a few 3d models and serveral overlays are created and displayed on the screen. Different kind of textures from pict files are is representing the overlays and put on the 3D models. That give the user a more pleasant experience when going through the exercises that helpes the user when he/she is going to navigate on a boat at sea..

att undersöka hur människor relaterar till och tolkar mötet med ett medium.
Undersökningen tar sin utgångspunkt i flera tänkbara kunskapsfält, bland annat

Recúrrens ? En svensk novellfilm
Det här är slutreflektionen för ett examensarbetet Recúrrens, skapat av Mikael
Berglund och Johan Cederholm från Medieteknik och Joel Arwidson och Charlie
Persson från digital ljudproduktion. Recúrrens är en novellfilm vi gjorde från
idé till färdig film och vi kommer beskriva hela vår arbetsgången i den här

Relationen mellan den personliga tränaren och klienten : att marknadsföra ett personligt varumärke inom träningsbranschen med hjälp av digitala medier
Purpose ? The purpose of the study was to examine how to promote a personal trainer in the fitness industry, as a personal brand, with digital media.Method ? To fulfill the purpose, the author have used three different methods. Both literature and quantitative and qualitative data in forms of a digital survey and interviews with two personal trainers regarding marketing and branding.Result ? Based on the collected literature and empirical evidence, facts could identify the importance of having a strong brand as a personal trainer, in order to recruit new clients. The result revealed that digital media is an excellent communication channel to nurture the relationship when you already have existing clients, but not when you want to recruit new customers.Implications ? This study is only developed through empirical data from a particular demography and a certain range, which could give a different result with other respondents.

Actors deliberately change their preferences, contrary to the assumptions of rational decision models. This study shows why, and to some extent how. Preferences are necessarily ambiguous and unstable. Rationality is a regulating myth which has had a profound influence on Western conceptions of what an actor is.The aim of this study is to help individual actors understand the theoretical grounds of their actions. The analysis provides tools for examining decision methods and preference changes.
Tillvägagångssätt vid långsiktigt digitalt bevarande: en studie av bevarandeplanering
Den långsiktiga bevaringen av digital information innebär nya utmaningar
för svenska offentliga arkiv. I arbetet med att utveckla system för att
hantera dessa utmaningar utgår svenska offentliga arkiv ifrån en
konceptuell rammodell kallad Open Archival Information System (OAIS-
modellen). Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra med en ökad förståelse för
hur svenska offentliga arkiv kan hantera de aktiviteter som ryms under
bevarandeplanering (Preservation Planning) enligt OAIS-modellen.
För att uppnå syftet har existerande forskning på området granskats och
kopplats till bevarandeplanering enligt OAIS-modellen. För att kunna
utvärdera den existerande forskningen har ny empirisk data samlats in genom
kvalitativa intervjuer.
Viktiga slutsatser som har varit möjliga att dra i denna undersökning är
att en migreringsstrategi är att föredra för svenska offentliga arkiv. Det
kan även vara lämpligt för svenska offentliga arkiv att frångå OAIS-
modellen och lagra teknisk metadata dels i informationspaketet och dels i
en separat referensdatabas.

Competing on the job market- a study of the relationship between product- and personal branding
Purpose: The purpose of our thesis is to analyze the application of models from product branding on job-seeking business students as a way to establish a personal brand.Conclude: We found that the principles of product branding closely resembles those of personal branding and are therefore applicable. Aktivitens betydelse för åldersrelaterad kognitiv försämring
The current paper compares the relations between different measures of activity and some common neuropsychological tests. One-hundred and fifty five healthy elderly, aged 55 - 85, living in Sweden were included. Gender-specific patterns were found for both activities and correlations between activities and cognitive measures. The main findings suggest that activities are associated with cognitive speed in men, whereas, for women, active and passive activities correlate, positively and negatively accordingly, with education. In comparison, complex models of activity outperform simpler ones and theory-driven measures just barely outperform intuitive models..

The aim of this thesis is to analyze how small and medium-sized management consulting firms in Sweden work with human resource management during digital transformation. By interviewing companies, this study explores their approach to attracting, recruiting, and developing competence. The results showed that management consulting firms have good access to candidates, made possible by having a strong corporate culture and attractive working conditions - Crucial parts for attracting talent. Social media and networking are frequently used for marketing and attracting interesting candidates. Digital tools and social media showed to be useful during the recruitment process, but personal contacts and networking still play a central role.
Chatt - ett nytt sätt att kommunicera med bibliotekarien
This thesis presents a new way of providing library users with reference services, namely chat (text based digital reference service in real time). Our research questions focus on the role of reference service, a comparison of chat reference to other reference forms, and the interest for real-time, digital reference. Our literature review covered the areas of digital reference and reference theory, the results of which showed that an ongoing debate hardly exists among Swedish librarians on the topic of reference work. We interviewed librarians from the three different Swedish chat reference projects existing at the time of our study. Most interviewees were very positive about chat reference.

This report aims to provide an insight into the particle physics of today, and into the research that goes on within the field. The focus is partly on the recent discovery of the Higgs boson, and partly on how software can be used to simulate processes in particle accelerators. Basic concepts of particle physics and the search for the Higgs boson are discussed, and experimental results, including those from the Large Hadron Collider, are compared with simulations made in MadGraph 5. Furthermore, simple new models of particle physics are created in FeynRules, in order to make simulations based on the models. To support the presentations of these aspects, some of the underlying theory is built from the ground up.
