I denna uppsats undersöks skillnaden mellan EQ:s som analog hårdvara och dess digitala motsvarigheter, dvs. emuleringar i pluginformat. I uppsatsen undersöks enheterna genom tekniska mätningar samt lyssningstest. I mätningarna gick det att se tydliga skillnader i övertonsdistortionen även om resterande parametrar var bra emulerade. I lyssningstesten uppfattade lyssningspanelen relativt stora skillnader mellan enheterna.

The purpose is to improve IKEA´s understanding of how their target group of 12 to 18 years old boys and girls thinks when they visit the showrooms in the department stores. What make them enter the showrooms? Is it the colours, the furniture or the whole concept? How are they inspired to furnish their own room? Do they get ideas from the showrooms or are they looking for a specific furniture? These types of questions have increased young people´s interest for design and decoration over the last decade. It transpires with help from an article written by Vittorio Girotto and Michel Gonzalez how children are influenced in an early age by their own temperament and their natural surroundings. Children reasons and acts according to what they believe adults would have done in a similar situation.The methods that have been used during this project are interviews, surveys, observations, hypothetical persona, persona and ABL (IKEA´s own method).

Undersökningens syfte har varit att studera förskolepedagoger/lärares attityd till att förmedla information och utföra administrativa uppgifter digitalt med hjälp av moderna verktyg samt undersöka hur de kommunicerar med föräldrar idag. Studien är av kvantitativ art och har genomförts med hjälp av enkätundersökning. Enkätundersökningen gick ut till olika kommuner i Sverige för att få ett resultat som kan representera hela landet. För att påvisa hur lyckade informationskanaler kan se ut så genomfördes även två exempelfall. Resultatet visade att det fanns en mestadels positiv attityd till digital förmedling samtidigt som det diskuterades mycket om vikten av integritet och säkerhet..

This is the final documentation of the basis that can be the foundation of how to solve theproblem with leaking hydraulic oil in a shoe press at the company Albany InternationalAB in Halmstad, Sweden.The project has been performed at Halmstad University as a degree project commissionedby Albany International AB. The purpose of the degree project was to find a way ofdetecting the hydraulic leak of a shoe press. The reason is that the shoe press runsunattended during nights and weekends, this can cause an extensive decontaminationwork and production stop if leak. The hydraulic oil could be leaking in large amounts orslowly as a fine mist. The development of a working system that can detect a hydraulicoil leak and stop the machine before a large amount of hydraulic oil leaks out wouldconsiderably reduce the cost of the decontamination work.

In order to make take-off and landing procedures possible at an airport, an organized allo- cation of slots is necessary. How these slots shall be distributed among airlines is, at pre- sent, governed by the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EEC) No 95/93 of 18 Janu- ary 1993 on common rules for the allocation of slots at Community airports. It is important for the air- lines to be allocated a beneficial slot. Hence it is of great interest for the airlines to ex- change and transfer the allocated times among themselves, a form of secondary market. Whether such practices are allowed or not is not regulated by specific detail in the regula- tion, which leads to legal uncertainty.

Vår produktion består av en speltidning, i både digital och tryckt form, som kretsar runt ett community av skribenter och forumiter. Målet var att skapa en oberoende tidning med fokus på åsikter och upplevelser, där majoriteten av det redaktionella materialet var skrivet av läsare. Vårt arbete gick ut på att formge, illustrera och distribuera denna tidning, men även att söka annonser, utforma en webblösning för kommunikation mellan användarna samt bedriva övrig företagsverksamhet (så som externa beställningsjobb inom media) för att ro i land projektet..

Det här kandidatarbetet kommer framförallt att beröra filmtekniken, Matte Painting, men vi kommer även röra oss runt omkring ämnet och presentera andra delar från filmproduktionen och framförallt postproduktionen för att lättare kunna sätta Matte Painting i ett relevant sammanhang. Vi jämför Matte Painting med en teaterkuliss, en bakgrund som på nära håll eller ses från fel vinkel kan bryta illusionen av att det är en verklig miljö. Vi undersöker och presenterar hur man kan bygga upp en digitalt skapad Matte Painting som möjliggör att inte behöva åka land och rike runt efter den idealiska filmplatsen, utan kan spela in filmscenen i en studiomiljö. Vi analyserar existerande filmscener som har använt sig av Matte Painting, gör jämförelser mellan olika användningsområden för Matte Painting samt diskuterar fram en slutsats som besvarar vår frågeställning: ?Hur har utvecklingen av filmtekniken, Matte Painting, sett ut och hur kan man tillämpa en digital Matte Paint i postproduktion för att förstärka helhetsupplevelsen av en filmscen?? --- This thesis will primarily concern the film technique, Matte Painting, but we will also roam around the subject and introduce other elements of the film production, and above all post production for ease of putting Matte Painting in a relevant context. We compare Matte Painting with a theatrical backdrop, a background that closely or viewed from the wrong angle can break the illusion that it is a real world environment. We will investigate and present how to build a digitally created Matte Painting that enables not having to travel across the country for the ideal film location, but can shoot the scene in a studio environment. We analyze existing film scenes that have made use of Matte Painting, making comparisons between different uses for Matte painting and discuss a conclusion that answers our main question: "How has the evolution of the film technology, Matte Painting, looked like and how you can apply a digital matte paint in post production to enhance the overall experience of a movie scene?".

Renewable energy and the charging of electrical vehicles will increase in the future. Therefore the risk of outages is also increasing, partly because renewable energy is intermittent and the production amount can change fast. Charging electrical vehicles is often demanding high effect in short time, which could make faults occur. It takes more advanced technology to short the outage time. Today Övik Energi has high reliability in the power grid, but in order to maintain the reliability, it is time to prevent problems that can occur in the future. This thesis has presented a suggestion for the placement of fault detectors Protrol IPS2, in which a total of four detectors is proposed.

Aeroseum is an aviation museum located in an old military underground hangar. The ventilation system in the hangar is designed for the military purpose of the hangar. This design includes a solution with air flowing through the space between the construction of the hangar and the rock surface. The solution is intended to avoid a buildup of inflammable gases. This design leads too high humidity levels in the hangar.

Lantmäteriet har fått i uppdrag att ta fram en Ny Nationell Höjdmodell (NNH) över Sverige. Höjddata samlas in med flygburen laserskanning (FLS) och osäkerheten i höjd ligger generellt sett under 0,1 m på hårda plana ytor, dock kan osäkerheten öka avsevärt i terrängtyper med tät vegetation eller i områden med starkt sluttande terräng. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att kontrollera hur osäkerheten påverkas av olika vegetationstyper samt olika lutningsgrader. Provningen utfördes i delar av Avesta och Hedemora kommun i april 2012, där nio olika provytor kontrollerades enligt den tekniska specifikationen SIS-TS 21145:2007 ?Byggmätning ? Statistisk provning av digital terrängmodell?.

This thesis work has been carried out at the consultant company Pöyry Sweden AB in Norrköping, whom performs the task for E.ON heating Sweden AB, Händelöverket in Norrköping. The report shows methods to manufacture slurry consisting of fly ash and water. The slurry shall be pumped into several former oil storage rock shelters that E.ON has put into operation for the specific purpose. The ash mixture also develops hydrogen gas in contact with water.The work has aimed to produce different suggestions of methods and equipment that can be used for the objective. Mixing method and security issues were in centre while working with the suggestions.

Aitik-gruvan utanför Gällivare är en av Europas största koppargruvor. Malm bryts i dagbrott och släntdesignen bygger till stor del på undersökningar och karteringsarbeten från 1970- och 1980-talet. Idag når dagbrottet betydligt djupare nivåer jämfört med då dessa studier utfördes. Det var därför aktuellt med en ny undersökning för att avgöra om det råder liknande eller förändrade förhållanden beträffande spricksituationen i dagbrottet. I detta examensarbete utfördes sprickkartering med hjälp av digital stereofotogrammetri, i syfte att kartera nya blottade delar i dagbrottet.

Som nybliven husägare ställs man inför många nya problem, man har helt plötsligt blivit med trädgård och denna skall fyllas med växter. Sedan skall man komma ihåg vad det man har köpt heter och viktigast av allt hur man får sina dyrt inköpta nya perenner att överleva och helst få tillväxt. Jag fick en idé om hur man kunde lösa problemet och det bästa av allt var att min idé inte fanns förut. Detta examensarbete handlar om ett faktaförberedande arbete för att senare kunna skapa ett modernt och skräddarsytt digitalt redskap till personer som är innehavare av en trädgård och besitter en klen kunskap om perenners ståndort, skötsel och egenskaper. Det är till för dem som önskar hålla sina perenner vid god vigör, med minsta möjliga tankearbete och tid. Denna produkt kan med en viss utbyggnad i framtiden också passa yrkesfolk som ritar och projekterar för den privata sektorn. Examensarbetets uppbyggnad består av följande delar: En undersökande del vilken består i att jag valde tre Garden-centers och intervjuade både personal och kunder för att få fram fakta, frågeställningar och kunskapsnivåer som jag kunde använda av skapandet av mitt digitala program. Jag läste också litteratur om skötsel där jag identifierade olika parametrar som behövs för perenners sunda överlevnad. En databasdel.

The dissertation?s subject is 802.11s wireless mesh networks with streaming video as a focus point.  During the dissertation a wireless mesh network was set up with different attached cameras for streaming video. A sun panel solution was also tested with the goal of creating a package with a self-configuring network node streaming video, powered by nothing but solar energy. .

ABSTRACT Bjelkenbrant, Pernilla, 2007: Musik och kommunikation ? en kursutvärdering (Music and communication ? a course evaluation) The purpose of this study is to do a quality assurance of the course ?Music and communication? (MUPR1205) as it was implemented in a class of music students at the program of Arts and Culture at Törnströmska upper secondary school in Karlskrona during 2006/2007. The overall question is to what extent the shaping of the course involves the attainment of the values and goals formulated in the national school documents. The study includes an interpretation of course goals related to overall goals, and a suggestion of how theories of the relationship music ? society can be applied to those goals to make a successful course structure.
