Creating instructions is not just about words, but also about text structure. A company creates many instructions to document their management systems, which often are presented through an intranet. This study examines how the text can be presented to make content understandable and give employees the knowledge to take action. An interview survey was made at Skanska Sweden and their management system "Vårt sätt att arbeta". The results show that it is mainly about creating an overview of the system and creating separations between different text sections.

A key part in the development and verification of digital systems is simulation. But hardware simulators are expensive, and software simulation is not fast enough for designs with a large number of gates. As today?s digital zesigns constantly grow in size (number of gates), and that trend shows no signs to end, faster simulators handling millions of gates are needed. We investigate how to create a software gate-level simulator able to simulate a high number of gates fast.

I denna uppsats undersöks huruvida en lyssnare kan skilja på två ljudmixar som är mixade på samma sätt men summerade på olika sätt. Den ena summeras analogt och den andra digitalt. Om så är fallet, hur tycker lyssnaren att dessa skillnader yttrar sig? Som metod fick en testpanel i ett blindtest lyssna på två olika mixar, en rocklåt och en jazzlåt, som båda fanns i både analogt och digitalt summerade versioner. Dessa fick testsubjekten sedan besvara några frågor kring och tycka till om dessa olika versioner i en kvalitativ enkätundersökning Det visade sig att skillnader uppfattades av merparten av lyssnarna.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka upplevelser unga vuxna har beträffande den virtuella gemenskapen på Internet communities och hur det påverkar deras hälsa och lärande. Studien grundar sig på folkhälsopedagogiskt perspektiv och bygger på en kvalitativ studie. Under genomförandet av arbetet har åtta individer deltagit i individuella intervjuer. I bakgrunden belyser jag hur den teknologiska utvecklingen förändrar det sociala samspelet i samhället. Ökande kommunikation via Internet communities har bidragit till att människor kan ha större sociala nätvärk utan fysiska hinder.

This study is essentially based on my own questions concerning contemporary playgrounds. Why are they so unimaginative? What do the children say about them? Is it possible to create playgrounds less constructed, and with more natural elements? This report starts with references to literature studies, personal references and my personal view, and ends with a suggestion for a physical solution for an actual day care centre. The aim is to learn more about how the natural environment affects children, the importance of playing, and try to use this knowledge in a design of a day care centre. My main theme can be summarized in the following question: Why is natural elements in playgrounds considered to be healthy for children? I wanted to create a playground with natural characteristics which I myself would have appreciated as a child.

Syftet med undersökningen är att utveckla en förståelse av vad som krävs för en framgångsrik implementering av digitala lärresurser i samhällskunskapen på gymnasiet. Syftet undersöks genom fyra frågeställningar som riktas mot skolors tekniska förutsättningar, lärares digitala kompetens, hur och när digitala lärresurser används samt hur eleverna påverkar lärarnas användning. Undersökningen har en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi som genomförts genom semistruturarade intervjer med sju samhällslärare på tre gymnasieskolor i Malmö. Undersökningen utgår ifrån Mishra och Kohlers teori om TPCK (technical, pedagogical and content knowledge) syftar till att medvetandegöra teknikens dynamiska samband med pedagogiken och ämneskunskapen. Undersökningens resultat visar att samhällslärarna använder digitala lärresurser för att aktualisera och konkretisera sin undervisning samt för att motivera eleverna. De digitala lärresurserna används främst som ett komplemet till tradtionella läromedel i form av sekundärt digitalt material. Användningen påverkas starkt av IT-infrastruktur och lärarkompetens. Lärarna ställer sig postivt till en ökad användning av digitala lärrserser men efterlyser en större pedagogisk vision och utbildning i hur digitala lärresurser kan användas pedagogiskt i undervisiningen.

This study explores Sweden's climate change denial by analyzing the spoken-word discourse of its countermovement, focusing on digital media content from Swedish parliament member Elsa Widding with an aim to provide empirical insights into the discourse of Sweden's Climate Change Countermovement (CCCM). Questions guiding this study are: What are the most prevalent topics and themes related to climate change denial and skepticism? How do they align with established categories of climate change denial, shaping the overall narrative? What mobilizing ideas and meanings are present, how are they shaped, and how do they contribute to the movement's goals? The material consists of Elsa Widding's complete audio-based "movement texts'' from 2019-2023, including YouTube content, podcasts, and appearances on Riks, totaling over 2000 minutes of audio transcribed into text via AI technology. Methodologically, this study adopts a mixed-method approach which blends computational pattern detection, topic modeling, clustering, and spatial relationship mapping techniques, along with qualitative content and framing analysis. Theoretically, the study employs a perspective which uses epistemic and response skepticism to examine climate change denial, viewing it through the lens of countermovements and social movement framing. The study's main contribution lies in the enablement of comprehensive analysis of a large audio-based dataset, achieved by leveraging recent AI advancements for reliable audio-to-text conversion combined with topic modeling.

Anläggningsbeståndet består av ca 16 500 km 400 kV och 220 kV ledningar, ca 170 st stationer samt ca 6 000 km telekommunikationsnät. De äldsta stamnätsanläggningarna byggdes under 1930-talet.Merparten av anläggningarna är byggda långt innan datorstöd användes vid dokumentationen, därför är det mestadels fysiska original i arkivet. Digitala original har levererats med nya anläggningar sedan mitten av 1990-talet. I dagsläget motsvarar de digitala originalen uppskattningsvis 10-20 % av totala antalet dokument.Underhåll av SvK:s anläggningar utförs på entreprenad.

The aim of this study was to map the prevalence of aeolian sand dunes in Västerbotten, northern Sweden to find dunes formed during earlier deglaciation phases, which was then preserved in cold-based conditions during the youngest stadial of the Weichselian glaciation. These preserved dunes were expected to be covered by a layer of till and have a rather faint morphology compared to dunes formed during the Holocene. Consequently, high resolution LIDAR-derived images from the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority (Lantmäteriet) was used to detect the dunes throughout an area covering most of Västerbotten, above the highest coastline and below the mountain range. The analysis resulted in several new findings of aeolian dunes compared to the findings in the quaternary soil map created by the Geological Survey of Sweden. Despite the fact some of the dunes at the LIDAR-derived image had a strange faint appearance, it was quickly evident during the fieldwork that the aeolian sand was not covered by till on any of the dunes visited.

Banverket Trafik has a responsibility to make sure that the companies who traffic the Swedish railroad have the correct information about the status of the railroad. One of Banverket Trafiks information systems (Opera) presents the train?s actual position on a map and provides the user with physical information about the trains. Due to increasing demands on the information systems, Banverket Trafik needs to update the present system architecture in order to manage the increasing demands on map graphics and map functions. This paper analysis the information system Opera on the basis of theory and support of methods and discuss problems and demands for Opera.

Dagens förskolebarn är den första riktigt digitala generationen. De har vuxit upp med datorer och Internet sedan de kom till världen. Följaktligen är barns värld idag både analog och digital och barnen rör sig ledigt mellan dessa två världar. Digitala spel har gjort att barn förstår sig på den nya tekniken på ett sätt som vuxna inte gör. Digitala spel vädjar till barns fantasi och ger ett alternativ till verkligheten AFK (Away From Keyboard).

The open air museum of Disagården is situated in the Old Uppsala parish, Uppsala municipality, are projected to portray a double row village, before the land enclosure, on the Uppsala plain during the 1860s and 1870s. Disagården operates under the County Museum of Uppland and serves as an exhibit of Uppland's farming culture during the late 19th century. However, an open-air museum is a complex institution where many interests are linked together. Disagården aims to simultaneously portray an historical environment while offering broad public appeal. The Disagården open air museum was inaugurated in 1931 and consists of relocated buildings that together form three farm complexes "Gränbygården", "Skuttungegården" and "Bärbygården". The thesis explores how the close surroundings of a typical farm in Uppland looked during the 1860s and 1870s. This historical depiction has then been applied to Disagården in a development suggestion creating a foundation from which Disagården can structure the close cultivation of the different farms. The basis of the development program has primarily been compiled through archival and literary studies but also through on-site visits and interviews. How did the concept of open air museums start and what were the ideas behind the concept? Which external influences affected the situating of cultivations and buildings? Which crops and species were present on the farms in Uppland during the specified time period? What was the relation of the different structures to each other? Which organizations had influences on the farmer's household of the Uppland plain? The thesis attempts to clarify the answers to these questions. The influences affecting on the farmer's household in Uppland were probably numerous.

Experter hävdar att smartphones blir allt vanligare i högre utbildning (högskole- och universitetsnivå) vilket gör undervisningen mer flexibel och tillgänglig för studenter. En smartphone fungerar som en handdator och du kan använda den för att läsa e-post, surfa på Internet, logga in på sociala nätverk som Facebook och Twitter, läsa nyheter, spela spel, lösa korsord, foto- grafera och spela in videor och mycket mer.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka skillnader i attityder mellan studenter och lä- rare samt män och kvinnor om användningen av smartphones i högre utbildning. Detta gjor- des med ett kvantitativt angreppsätt där datainsamlingen gjordes med hjälp av en webbaserad enkätundersökning. När det gäller studenter och lärare, har vi utgått från Prensky?s (2001) teori om digitala infödingar och digitala immigranter.
