Analoga och digitala verktyg i svensk?mnets skrivundervisning
The purpose of this study is to investigate how twelve middle school teachers use educational
tools and what influences their choice of educational tools in Swedish language writing instruction.
To answer this purpose, three research questions were formulated: What does writing
instruction look like for middle school students according to the teachers in the study?
What influences teachers' choice and use of educational tools in writing instruction? What
opportunities and challenges do teachers experience in Swedish language writing instruction
when using different educational tools? Twelve teachers from variously sized municipalities
and with different experiences participated in the study through purposive sampling and
convenience sampling. The chosen method is qualitative semi-structured teacher interviews.
To analyse the results, this study employs analytical tools from the sociocultural perspective,
using concepts such as mediation, appropriation, the zone of proximal development, and
scaffolding. The results show that both analogue and digital tools are used in the teachers'
writing instruction. The choice of tools should be based on pedagogical considerations, with
an emphasis on social interaction and collaboration during the learning process.

On the contrary, citizens of the society who do not use communication technologies to some extent might feel excluded from the information society. As elderly citizens are already in a vulnerable position for the digital divide, communication technology becomes an important tool for interacting with friends and family. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediatization of Swedish politics on a municipal level. We live in a world were media affects many aspects of life. One of those aspects is the communication between the citizens and the politicians.Our main research questions are:To what extent do politicians communicate with journalists and who initiates these contacts?Do politicians talk to some types of media rather than others?What factors make a politician choose to speak to media?To what extent do leading Swedish municipal politicians use media strategies?To answer these questions we have used various theories to help us understand media?s role oftoday. First we explain the transformation that has taken part in Swedish media over the last century, from political party press to independent media companies.
Miljöpåverkan av äggproduktion : En jämförelse mellan Lilluns ägg och andra svenska äggproducenter
The purpose of this report was to compare Lilluns egg production with other Swedish egg producers based on the flow of nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) in the egg production systems. The main focus in the report was the utilization rate of the forage and the excess of nutrients per kg egg. Additionally, the purpose was to identify the environmental impact from Lilluns egg production and compare the results with other egg producers. The inflow of nutrients associated with forage and poultry was compared with the nutrients that were exported from the production. All of the egg producers in this study had an excess of nutrients.
"Man får bara hänga på tåget" - En studie om lärares reflektioner kring arbetet med begreppet digital kompetens i skolans verksamhet idag och i framtiden
BAKGRUND: Bakgrunden beskriver det förändrade kunskapsbehov som samhället nu genomgår och hur lärare i skolans verksamhet hanterar och förhåller sig till detta. Kritiskt förhållningssätt, elevernasmedieanvändning och begränsningar som kan förekomma är andra delar som behandlas.SYFTE: Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur sju lärare i årskurs 4-6 tolkar begreppet digital kompetens och hur de arbetar med digital kompetens i sin undervisning. Ett bisyfte är att undersöka om lärarna tror att de kommande styrdokumentens riktlinjer kring digitalkompetens kommer att förändra deras undervisning, och i så fall påvilket sätt.METOD: Metoderna som använts i studien är self report och delvis strukturerade intervjuer. Vi valde att lämna ut våra self reports först för att låta respondenterna associera fritt angående begreppet digitalkompetens utan påverkan från oss. När vi samlat in svaren formulerade vi individuella frågor utifrån dessa och följde sedan uppdem med delvis strukturerade intervjuer för att få en fördjupad kunskap om lärarnas åsikter.RESULTAT: Studien visar att lärare är positivt inställda till att integrera digitala medier i undervisningen.

The case study we conducted describes market for transmission of terrestrial digital TV. The purpose of this study is to find out what hinders potential entrants from entering the market as well as to discuss possible competitive strategies for potential entrants. Our conclusion is that even though the market for transmission of terrestrial digital TV can be viewed as attractive due to its fast growth, there are barriers to entry that block companies we identified as potential entrants from entering the market. The industry experience of the current market players (Teracom and Boxer) along with their knowledge of the consumers and the fact that Teracom is a multi-business company are some of the factors to be taken into consideration. Switching costs is the most important barrier to entry for the industry.

Är du tekniknykter, obstinat kärring eller ska vi twittra? : Lärares attityder till den mediala och tekniska utvecklingen samt till elevers mediala och tekniska repertoar
Syftet med studien var att ta reda på lärares attityder till den digitala klyfta mellan elever och lärares repertoarer och utvecklingen gällande teknik och media. Bakgrunden till detta är några av reaktionerna från de elever jag mött under mina Vfu-perioder, under utbildningen på lärarutbildningen, där min egen repertoar sammanfallit med elevernas och därför lett till positiva pedagogiska erfarenheter. Studien har genomförts med Grundad teori och i det empiriska materialet har sammanlagt åtta personer intervjuats. Tre djupintervjuer i den första fasen som ledde till ett antal kategorier och därefter följde fyra intervjuer vars frågor baserades på kärnkategorin, uppdatering. I den sista, teoretiserande delen användes en intervjuperson i ett försök att bekräfta eller förkasta teorin. Analysen har lett fram till följande kärnkategori: lärarens uppdaterande av ny media och teknik.

kombination med varandra, hur dessa kan användas tillsammans och vad som
förändras i en spelproduktion. Syftet är att undersöka trippelnarrativ som
metod för användande av flera narrativa strukturer i ett och samma spel och att
ta reda på hur det kan tillämpas i en spelproduktion. Vi genomförde en
undersökande produktion där vi utvecklade en prototyp av ett spel med en
trippelnarrativ struktur för att sedan diskutera och resonera kring användandet
i spel.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate how the crisis communication was perceived between SAS, massmedia and citizens during the volcano crisis in 2010. The questions posed are: - How did the communication between SAS, media and citizens function during the crisis? - How did senders, intermediaries and beneficiaries experience the information and communication during the crisis? - How important was the internet communication for SAS, media and citizens during the crisis?The collected material consists of interviews and desktop research of material from Internet.The study shows that the communication between SAS, the media and citizens worked well on the social medias but was weaker in all other mediachannels. SAS was also weak in following up information received by media and travelers, and they therefore they had a different picture of the situation during the crisis. SAS thought that the communication worked fine between the parties involved.

Responsible production is a subject of increasing importance for companies toadopt and communicate to their environment and many companies choose to implementenvironmental ? and ethic considerations into their brand strategy. There is, however, adividing line between companies according to what extent they choose to implementresponsible production into their brand strategy and to which extent they choose tocommunicate it to their stakeholders and surroundings. It is the hypothesis about a dividingline that is the foundation for this essay and something we believed could be interesting forfurther analysis.The purpose of our essay is to find out how the brand strategy of a company is affected by theresponsible production and in what extent they communicate it to their environment. Byanswering those questions we hope to find out why some companies communicateresponsible production more actively than others.We have conducted in-depth interviews with the Swedish clothing companies; MariaWesterlind, Zion and Dem Collective and we have through our analysis reached interestingconclusions.
Att twittra sig till framgång : En kvalitativ studie om tre PR-byråers strategiska kommunikationsarbete med det sociala mediet twitter
This essay focus on the social media Twitter and how three Swedish PR practitioners view and use communication strategies for this social media. Twitter was created 2006 and is kind of a new channel in the digital world. The micro blog has over these few years attracted 175 million users across the world. In Sweden there is 91 000 registered users and according to a survey, 11 000 of them are active by tweeting once a day.Twitter is highly current and all kinds of people are using the social media, for example, artists, companies and individuals. Twitter is with its highly number of users building a new market for organizations to find their stakeholders.
