AbstractIn this text the attitudes towards and using of blogs in teaching Swedish toteenagers will be explored. The results are based on a survey made amongst 17teachers and 58 students from all over Sweden. The end results show that theusage of blog still hasn?t found a permanent way into the classrooms, but has anappeal to and is being used by predominantly younger teachers both, male andfemale, with a positive response from students regardless of gender. Theconclusion is that using web tools like the blog is an easy first step for schools toconnect to the digital society of the 21stcentury and take advantage of the perksavailable in the digital classroom.Svensk titel:Blogg + Svenska =Sant? ? The outset of this thesis is to raise questions on how we design for the mobile context and the capabilities of smartphones. Not only the presentation but also the use of input and interaction between a service and a user.This work evolves around sign up forms and answers the question: How does the sign up process affect the holistic perspective of a digital service regarding usability and user experience? This thesis consists of a case studies, and design experiments conducted on Twitter, Instagram and Randos sign up processes to explore if and how the usability, and the user experience could be affected and im- proved.This concluded some important aspects to be considered when designing sign up forms for a digital service.The usability, and the user experience is not only affected by user interaction, and the choice of input method but it?s also affected by which data the service is requesting, and more important; if that data is motivated to request by the service..

The purpose of this thesis is to compare mass digitization and qualitative digitization, to see how the digitization process and the digitalized material differ. The study emanates from the mass digitization as it is performed at the National Library in Norway, and the qualitative digitization at the Royal Library in Sweden. The method used is document studies combined with mail interviews. The focus is upon the practical operation, to which counts: ?purpose & selection?, ?preparation, image capturing and processing?, ?metadata & text encoding?, ?quality assessment?, ?storage of digital originals and copies? and ?display?.

One special feature in the Swedish nature, mainly in the county of Uppland is one distinctive kind of dip, which can be distinguished from its fast and unaccounted drainage. These dips are called ?glupar? and can mainly be found in coarse-grained pebbled moraine under the highest shoreline (HK). During spring, and particularly when snowmelting occur, the wateramliptude fluctuates a lot until late summer or the beginning of fall comes; these dips are then often almost fully drained. During winter however, the waterlevel stands high.

I denna rapport beskrivs arbetet med att tillvarata och anpassa data från en enkätundersökning till digital hantering i GIS. Undersökningen är en besöksstudie utförd av Karlstads kommun och Skogsstyrelsen för att kartlägga människors rörelsemönster i I2-Skogen, ett gammalt militärt övningsfält som numera används som rekreationsområde. Enkäten består av ett antal frågor om exempelvis typ av aktivitet, ålder och åsikter om området, samt en karta på vilken besökaren ritat in var i området han eller hon rört sig. Utgångsmaterialet för arbetet har varit en databas innehållande enkätsvaren, samt originalkartorna med den ritade informationen. Arbetet omfattar dels att undersöka om kartinformationen kan digitaliseras automatiskt genom scanning och vektorisering i batch, och dels att normalisera och strukturera databasen med enkätsvaren.En metod för digitalisering har utarbetats och testats på ett urval av kartorna.

This study concerns digital stories told by five young Romani students and one teacher from Roma Culture Class in Stockholm, Sweden. The theoretical framework draws from theories concerning identity, culture,Romanipe, the Romani value system and social semiotics. The material for the study is the digital stories that were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that the young Roma in the study demonstrate pride in their Romani background and culture, but also signs of changes and development in their culture. Some of the participants do not show external signs of Romani traditions, for example in the ways of dressing.

The intention of this essay has been to investigate how the new digital technology has affected the tourism industry and marketing, as well as how travel agents and tour operators adapt to this. We also aimed to get a broader view of how the future might look like when it comes to marketing and virtual service landscapes. We decided to base our research according to these following four questions:? What affect travel agents? way of adoption to the technical development?? What purposes do the travel agents have for building up their virtual service landscape?? How much does the travel agents emphasize on digital marketing?? What can travel agents do to better adapt to the technological development in the future?We have chosen to use a qualitative research for this essay. The reason for choosing a qualitative research was to gain a wider understanding that would represent a big part of the changes of technology development.

I detta examensarbete har jag fått i uppgift av Consultec Byggprogram AB att utvärdera olika utvecklingsverktyg för cross-platform utveckling samt utveckla och utvärdera en mobilapplikation som kan ersätta eller komplettera deras webbversion av projekthanteringsprogrammet Sitecon. Kraven på applikationen var att den ska kunna ta emot push-notifieringar, kunna ringa de telefonnummer som visas i applikationen, kunna lagra data direkt i den mobila enheten, använda kameran samt lokalisera en byggarbetsplats med hjälp av en inbyggd karta.Efter en utvärdering av både utvecklingsverktyg samt utvecklingsmetoder, utvecklades mobilapplikationen som ett proof of concept och uppfyller alla de satta kraven..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur lärare förhåller sig till digitala texter och digitala verktyg. Litteraturgenomgången består av forskning som berör digitala texter, digitala verktyg, mediers betydelse för barns lärande och hur lärare förhåller sig till dessa. En teoretisk utgångspunkt är det sociokulturella perspektivet på lärande med centrala begrepp som literacypraktiker, multimodalitet, medieekologi och progressivism. Vår undersökning bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer med åtta lärare och hur de förhåller sig till digitala texter och digitala verktyg, utifrån frågor som berör arbetssätt, möjligheter/hinder och påverkan från skolans styrdokument. I resultatet synliggörs fem olika förhållningssätt till digitala texter och digitala verktyg; digitala texter och digitala verktyg skapar både möjligheter och hinder, digitala texter och digitala verktyg ger stöd, digitala texter och digitala verktyg öppnar fönster till elevers fritidsvärldar, traditionella skriv- och läspraktiker som normerande syn på digitala texter och digitala verktyg samt Lgr 11 har inte förändrat något.

Orientering är en sport som går ut på att besöka ett antal förutbestämda kontrollpunkter med hjälp av en karta. Orienteringskartan redovisar olika objekt som finns i verkligheten så som stenar, gropar, höjder och branter. Att tillverka en orienteringskarta är dyrt och tidskrävande. Omkring 120 000?150 000 kr och mellan 20?30 h/km2 fältarbete läggs ner på varje karta som skapas.

This essay examines the narrative aspect of interactive fiction. The study uses Janet H. Murrays analysis of the digital environment and the properties of it as procedural, participatory, spatial and encyclopedic. From this, her three characteristic pleasures in digital narratives - immersion, agency and transformation - are examined from the perspective of interactive fiction. The study also examines Nick Montforts analysis of interactive fiction as a potential narrative and a simulated world or environment.

Vårt examensarbete innebar att skapa ett system för digital lagring av trafikolyckor som inträffat i Kiruna centralort. De dataprogram vi använde oss av var ESRI Arc-view, Microsoft Access och Excel. Arbetsgång: Vi använde oss av Kiruna kommuns databas över vägnamn som via en länk kopplade ihop programmen Arc-view och Access. Alla vägnamn kommer därmed att finnas tillgängliga i Access databasen. Varje trafikolycka tilldelas ett unikt diarienummer vid inmatning i Access.

Debatten handlade om staten som genom övergången skulle få större möjligheter till att kontrollera me-diemarknaden, om en teknik som var föråldrad och om oförberedda tittare. Gotland var först ut i detta teknikskifte och uppmärksammades speciellt. De lokala dagstidningarna har stark ställning i Sverige och har flera funktioner. De fungerar ofta som den huvudsakliga källan för den lokala samhällsorienteringen, som ett forum för den lokala debatten med såväl kommen-tarer som opinionsmaterial, både på redaktionell nivå som insändarnivå.

The aim of this research was to gain a comprehensive understanding of how daily activities impact the organizational culture within the Swedish Police enforcement agency, Polismyndigheten. The study specifically explored the influence of the purported culture of silence on organizational culture. Employing a case study approach, data were collected with a qualitative method from a total of 15 individuals, including students and officials affiliated with Polismyndigheten. The findings were categorized into five distinct groups, revealing a noticeable gap between employees and management. Additionally, the study identified generational disparities and a lack of a clear set of core values.
