Finnhamn is a group of islands that are located in the middle north part of Stockholm?s archipelagos. On the main island Stora Jolpan there is a camp called Sommargården, which consists of eleven different buildings in various sizes. Discussions about the democratic deficit of the European Union have gotten more intense and the criticism usually points towards a great gap between the citizens and the EU politics. In this study the political communication policy is being put under the scope to investigate to what extent the policy is designed to counter the democratic deficit, supported by the theory of deliberative democracy. The analysis examines three aspects of the deficit ? decentralization, participation and the distribution of information ? and makes research into the communicative measures that have been implemented. The importance for EU to make deliberation possible is stressed throughout the essay and in the conclusion I argue that improvements still need to be made.  .

The main objective of this essay is to present the views of nine Swedish publishers and four other agents in the literary field regarding the possibilities of and obstacles to publishing fiction in an electronic format. Furthermore, whether or not electronic publishing is today actually a viable alternative. A substantial part of the essay functions as background to our interview findings and is based primarily on material originating from the Sociology of Literature field. The introductory chapter expounds the methodological and theoretical basis of the essay and is followed by a chapter placing our study in a larger, international media, context. Chapter three deals with the past decades? restructuring of the publishing sector, the professional functions involved in traditional publishing and Pierre Bourdieu?s theories on the cultural and economic forces at work in the literary field.

BAKGRUND: Då media under de senaste årtiondena vuxit sig till att bli en kraft nog att räkna med i samhället och även i skolan tyckte vi att det var intressant område att grunda vår undersökning på. I bakgrunden tar vi upp tidigare forskning som pekar på vikten av att dagens skola kopplas till den vardag samt det samhälle eleverna lever i. Här tas även upp hur barns inlärningsprocesser beskrivs utifrån Konnektivismen samt det sociokulturella perspektivet.SYFTE: Vårt syfte är att undersöka hur långt integreringen av mediala verktyg kommit iklasslärares verksamhet.METOD: Kvantitativa enkäter avsedda för klasslärare.RESULTAT: Övergripande kunde vi utifrån undersökningen avläsa att de allra flestalärare anser att integreringen av media i den traditionella undervisningen kan förbättra kvaliteten på och fördjupa kunskaperna hos eleverna samt skapa en god lärandemiljö. Majoriteten av lärarna visade sig ha en positiv inställningar gentemot mediala verktyg både i undervisningensamt i sitt eget arbete. Dock visade det sig att de förutsättningar som krävs för attkunna integrera mediala verktyg i skolan på ett tillfredsställande sätt ofta saknas..

The concentration and storage of organic chlorine and chloride were determined in soil, to a depth of 40 cm, in a coniferous forest in the Stubbetorp catchment area in south-east Sweden. Also, the spatial distribution of the two forms of chlorine was determined. Soil samples were collected at 49 of the nodes in a grid with approximately 105 m between the nodes. The analysis of spatial variability suggested that no spatial autocorrelation was present either within the variable organic chlorine or chloride. This means that no sample was more influenced by another nearby sample, as compared to other samples further away.

Examensarbetet handlar om utvecklandet av en webbportal för ett litet flygbolag. De behövde en plattform för att kunna hantera och digitalisera olika dokument. Den viktigaste funktionen som implementerades var flygloggen som fylls i efter varje flygning. När den är digital kan flertalet uträkningar ske automatiskt och exportering av statistik kan ske mycket enkelt. Resultatet blev en webbapplikation i ASP.NET och MVC med Visual Studio som också lades upp på molnet med Microsoft Azure..

Eutrophication was recognized in the early 1900's and results in severe algal blooms, increased biomass production and eventually leads to an altered ecosystem. In Mälardalen we find the most eutrophic lakes. Most of the applied phosphorus and nitrogen into seas and oceans comes from agriculture, and the nutrients losses are affected by local weather conditions and soil type. Guidelines for storage and distribution of manure were introduced in the 80s, and the rules were strengthened January 1, 2010. Localities and previous county administrations can whether there are special reasons, grant an exemption for manure application during winter-periods despite the current ban.In this essay I have examined how many exemptions of manure application that has been granted at the Sagån river, and what implications it has for the eutrophication of Lake Mälaren.

Det började faktiskt redan hösten 2004, när jag satt och arbetade med ett av de otaliga projekt man gör under sin skolgång. Projektet gick ut på att skapa en hemsida med en digital katalog, och voilá, där föddes idén. Sedan fortsatte jag att fundera, vända och vrida på idén, ett system för att skapa digitala kataloger och mindre presentationer som vemsomhelst skulle kunna använda. Findus Sverige AB, referred to asFindus from now on, harvests peas during a period ofaround 50 days during the summer. The harvest generates about 30 000 tonnes of peas which gives around 40 000 pallets to distribute to the warehouses which Findus uses for final storage. Three hours after the peas are picked in the fields, they have to be frozen to keep their good taste and quality. Because of this the pallets are marked with a preliminary label with quality classification of the content. The Findus quality department then has one day to determine the correct quality of each pallet.

A large number of farms within the agricultural sector will shortly be facing a point of time where the farm will be transferred to the next generation. The grantor can choose between totally 8 different strategies to transfer the farm, of which purchase, gift and a mixed form of these are the most common. During 2007 almost 10 000 transfers of agricultural estates occurred in Sweden and the expectation for the coming years is that about 15 000 estates will be transferred each year. By the time a transfer is about to materialize there are usually several stakeholders that in one way or another is trying to influence the outcome of the transfer. The choice of transfer method affects the conditions and possibilities for compensating the siblings.
