Den ger även en överblick i att jobba med Google API för sökfunktion samt phpbb3-anpassning av en redan fungerande login/registreringsfunktion på den egna sidan. I denna studie har jag använt mig av de ämnesdidaktiska principerna som en teoretisk modell för att möjliggöra förståelsen för hur lärare i ämnet samhällskunskap använder sig av digitala medier i sin undervisning. Det empiriska materialet i studien kommer ifrån sex intervjuade lärare som arbetar på tre olika högstadieskolor. Två av de intervjuade lärarna i studien arbetar även som IKT inspiratörer. Två av skolorna i studien som de intervjuade lärarna arbetar på bedrivs av kommunal regi medan en är en friskola. Resultatet som jag har kommit fram till i studien visar att lärarna använder olika former av digital media i sin undervisning.

Syfte: Syftet med magisteruppsatsen är att konstruera en ansats till en generell teoretisk analysmodell som kan förklara hur affärsmodeller påverkas av externa branschförändringar. Analysmodellen kommer att appliceras på TV-branschen.Metod: Vi har konstruerat en ansats till en generell teoretisk analysmodell som vi har applicerat på TV-branschen för att försöka förklara hur företagens affärsmodeller påverkas av externa faktorer som bidrar till förändringar i branschen. I vår undersökning har vi valt en kvalitativ metod, och vi har huvudsakligen använt oss av teori inom branschutveckling, värdekonstellationer och value migration teori. Vår primärdata utgörs av intervjuer med personer som arbetar inom digital-TV området i någon av de tre distributionsplattformarna. Sekundärdata har vi erhållit från artiklar, remisser samt annat material från olika instanser inom området.Slutsats: Vår ansats till analysmodell utgör en grund för att studera hur affärsmodeller påverkas av branschförändringar.

People play games now more than ever before. While the digital gaming industry dominates the market, boardgaming has been living in its shadow. Board games offer a physical tangibility and a social experience that can be found in few digital games. How do we create a tool that further builds upon those strengths? The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of developing a service that consists of an mobile application and board game events to promote social face-to-face interaction. Focus has been on the social face-to-face interaction in the context of a board game session.

The expectations of a successful outcome are great during childbirth. The overall objective of prenatal care and birth care is that midwives contribute in creating the most positive experience of pregnancy, child birth and infancy as possible. During the past 30 years there has been a significant increase in sectiofrequency both in Sweden and the rest of the Western world. More parents feel an overall insecurity when it comes to child labour. The purpose of this study was to describe how midwives experience the work of creating a sense of security and good nursing when meeting the expectant parents.

The development of software was considered until the beginning of the 1990th as a cathedral like product development in closed companies. This way of development changed in the last decade. Open source software (OSS) development challenged this consideration significantly. OSS is produced in co-operation by skilled people, distributed and used by many moral agents. Ny nationell höjdmodell är ett projekt som utförts av Lantmäteriet på begäran av regeringen sedan år 2009 och beräknas vara färdigt år 2016. Datainsamling sker med hjälp av flygburen laserskanning. Syftet med studien är att kontrollera noggrannheten av laserdata som ska användas för framställning av ny nationell höjdmodell i Sverige. Noggrannhetskontrollen utfördes på området Årsunda ? Ockelbo (syd ? nord) och Storvik ? Forsbacka (väst ? öst).

A central discussion within society and businesses today, is the change of generations in the business market which occurs within the upcoming years. A change of generations is unavoidable and a natural step in business. The challenge of the forthcoming reform is the large number of people leaving the labour market and the grand entrance of new labour; Generation Y. The characteristics of Generation Y differ from the older generation which enhances the challenges for the businesses to attract a new workforce. It may also be necessary for the organisations to adapt to the younger generation.

The explosion of new digital media puts pressure for developments within copyright law both in Sweden and internationally. These developments are taking place on two different international areas: (1) WIPO which is a part of the UN family and (2) the EU where a new directive on copyright law is being prepared and probably implemented during 2001. The aim of this thesis is twofold: (1) to study which considerations libraries must make when handling the new digital media both under today's copyright laws and under those which are being developed internationally. (2) What will be the consequences, for Swedish libraries, if the new EU-directive on copyright law is implemented in Sweden? By analysing current copyright laws, international treaties and the proposal for a new EU-directive as well as the national debate the thesis brings attention to a number of central issues for libraries.

 The purpose with my study was primarily to illuminate the students' expectations on gained knowledge during their studies at the upper secondary school Hotel- and Restaurant program, and to what extent these expectations were fulfilled. Secondarily, the purpose was to compare the students' expected and perceived knowledge with the program goals set by the Swedish government and the knowledge requirements expressed in a pilot study made by the Education council of the Hotel and restaurant business (UHR, 2007).I chose a quantative approach and I used an anonymous group enquiry among students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program at two different upper secondary schools to carry out my study.Tendencies in the result suggested that the students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program expected high knowledge level within the competence areas of Guest reception and communication, Cleaning and hygiene, Cooking of cold and hot dishes and Waiting. The expectations were not big within the areas Computers and Internet and Business economics and management.Fulfillment of expected knowledge tended to be high within the areas where the expectations were big. It might therefore be a good investment for schools to work on the student expectations to increase motivation within the low expectation areas.A confrontation of the tendencies in the result with the program goals and the competence requirements expressed in the UHR study, suggested that the upper secondary Hotel- and Restaurant education might focus some more the areas of Guest reception and communication, Beverages and Organization of banquets. Business economics and management should be given much more weight..

Till följd av Internetanvändandet har en ny arena för kränkningar och mobbning uppstått. Tidi-gare forskning har i huvudsak studerat nätmobbning och nätkränkningar bland barn och ungdo-mar varpå föreliggande studie studerar fenomenet bland unga vuxna. Studien syftar i huvudsak till att undersöka förekomsten av nätkränkningar och/eller nätmobbning, via digital interaktions-teknik, bland unga vuxna, detta både ur ett förövar- och offerperspektiv.

The purpose of this essay was to study whether the UN convention on the Rights of the child is implemented in the Swedish executory authority, in cases that include compulsory auction of property belonging to families with children, in the southern area of Sweden. I have especially focused on questions concerning whether civil servants work with child consequence analyses, whether they have been offered education in child competence at work, to what extent they have listened to and taken into account the child's own voice in the execution process, and finally to what extent civil servants have had contact with the social welfare committee.The study was based on qualitative telephone interviews with seven civil servants working with cases that comprise compulsory auction of property belonging to families with children.The conclusions of my study are that there exists no specific child perspective regarding the UN convention on the Rights of the child in the civil servants work regarding compulsory auction of property belonging to families with children. Neither do they work with child consequence analyses nor do they listen to what the child has to say in the execution process. The civil servants have not been offered any kind of education concerning child competence. Regarding contacts with the social welfare committee, the result shows that this is, in general, not based on systematic procedures..

Purpose of the essay: The purpose of the essay is to, from the view of the nurses working at the x-ray infirmary; see how the internal e-mail communication is working as the main digital communication method at the x-ray infirmary.Material/Method: The material has been collected using qualitative interviews with eight nurses working at the x-ray infirmary. The material has then been analyzed through a theoretical perspective based on The Media Richness theory.Main results: The results of the investigation have shown that the nurses see the internal e-mail communication as relatively poor. The information that is sent out by their superiors is often too extensive, this making the screening work an extra work burden. These e-mails are also supplied to the whole infirmary instead of being addressed to specific individuals. Seen through a media richness perspective, the e-mail is a mediumrich communication medium that well could be used in the everyday communication at the infirmary as the main communication agent.
