During recent years, the labor market has changed. Social media currently plays a larger role within recruitment for both job seekers and employers, while company policies and routines addressing background checks become less strict. The result of these changes are higher demands upon social media users to censure their online image. This study focuses on LinkedIn, which is a website intended to provide users with tools for career development. The study is aimed at user interaction with LinkedIn and how this interaction can influence career development.

Man brukar säga att kameran aldrig ljuger. Ändå blir folk ständigt lurade av bilder. Ett exempel är bilderna från Timisoara, där offren för en påstådd massaker visade sig ha dött av naturliga orsaker. Trots det landar debatten om bilders äkthet oftast i ett ifrågasättande av digital manipulation. Den kända diskussionen om huruvida man ska plocka bort en störande servett ur bilden innan fotograferingstillfället eller efteråt på digital väg, berörde aldrig åsikten att servetten kunde få ligga kvar för att undvika att förfalska verkligheten.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur lärosäten arbetar med att föra in digitala lärresurser som en integrerad del i den nya lärarutbildningen, enligt den Digitala agenda som lades fram av regeringen 2011. Studien undersöker hur både lärarutbildare och lärarstudenter får kompetenshöjning i digitala lärresurser. För att uppnå syftet har en kvalitativ studie genomförts genom telefonintervjuer med åtta personer med inblick i lärosätenas strategier och tankar kring digitaliseringen av den nya lärarutbildningen. Studiens resultat visar att det finns en medvetenhet och en strävan hos lärosätena att höja den digitala kompetensen hos både lärarstudenter och lärarutbildare men det finns en tröghet i progressionen både organisationsmässigt och personalmässigt. Slutsatsen är att det krävs en tydlig strategi och styrning i digitaliseringsarbetet och samtidigt lägga stor vikt vid att bygga upp en medvetenhet om de digitala lärresursernas möjligheter..

The company Pilotfish has developed the system MIVEO which is used by car-sharing to wirelessly monitor, book or otherwise manage a fleet of cars. In a car pool the system has three different types of users with varying degrees of eligibility. These are end users, administrative and service personnel. We have chosen to focus on opportunities to streamline the administrator and service personnel work with a mobile service, as these users of MIVEO often are movable and mobile. From this position we have in the study attempted to answer the following question: How can mobile services used to streamline administrative tasks? This study is about developing a mobile application that will contain the same features as the existing system, but must be mobile suit.

Avsikten med denna fallstudie är att jämföra annonsering i några svenska magasins tryckta och digitala upplaga. Fokus ligger på hur annonseringen förändrats i övergången från tryckt till digital produkt. Skillnader i mängden annonser, dess layout samt avsändare och budskap har undersökts.  I vilken grad annonsering i de digitala magasinen använder sig av multimedieinnehåll ämnas också undersökas. Det vill säga ljud, video och hyperlänkning samt länkning till sociala nätverk.

Dessa har genomförts med representanter från sju svenska partier, varav sex är representerade i Sveriges riksdag medan det sjunde kan antas vara aspirant till att få riksdagsmandat.Teori: Det teorier som studien vilar på är teorin om nätverkssamhället enligt bland annat Castells, Habermas teori om den offentliga sfären, teorin om den nya demokratin enligt Hacker och van Dijk och Åström samt ett flertal forskares tankar kring internet inom politisk kommunikation.Resultat: Sociala medier anses av svenska partiers representanter vara ett utmärkt verktyg för politisk kommunikation då det möjliggör diskussion med användarna samt ger politiker en möjlighet att visa en personligare sida av sig själva. När partierna använder sig av sociala medier riktar de sig till i princip alla målgrupper i samhället, dock inte samtidigt.

This thesis deals with the numerical 3D simulation of a four stroke, spark-ignited, internalcombustion engine, which is mounted on a high performance motorcycle. The work, carried outin collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and MV Agusta, focuses on the simulation of theintake, compression and expansion stroke, including combustion simulation, using an opensource CFD code.Simulation of internal combustion engines offers a great challenge in the field of CFD research.Moving boundaries of the solution domain, caused by the motion of the piston and valves, leadsto deformation of the computational grid, with decreasing quality of the solution as result. Basedon this, a previously developed mesh motion strategy was employed where a number of meshesare used to cover the whole simulation cycle. Within each mesh interval the internal cell pointsof the mesh are moved to account for the boundary motion of the piston and valves. This strategywas previously applied to simplified geometries as well as real engine geometries.

Syftet med detta projekt är att skapa en prototyp för ett digitalt tentamenssystem, där studenterna skriver tentamen med hjälp av läsplattor, samt utvärdera vilka fördelar och nackdelar ett sådant system skulle kunna medföra.Huvudfokuset för detta projekt var att utveckla en prototyp för ett digitalt tentamenssystem med stöd för bland annat automatisk rättning, kompilering och automatisk evaluering av programspråksfrågor. Vi försöker samtidigt bibehålla de positiva aspekterna av ett analogt system, som till exempel möjlighet för både lärare och elev att uttrycka sig genom frihandsritning.Denna studie har visat att det finns många fördelar för både studenter och lärare med en övergång till ett digitalt tentamenssystem samt att man med små medel kan skapa en fungerande prototyp av ett sådant system..

Most people do not think about how it really works when they try to access a web page by typing the address into their browser, but something that most people probably notice is how long it can sometimes take to access a web page.All items which are directly connected to the IP network have a unique IP address that is used to make it possible to communicate. The IP address is either a period separated sequence of digits representing 32 bits or a colon separated sequence of digits representing 128 bits, depending on whether the address is an IPv4 or IPv6 address.

Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.

Objective: The aim of the study is to describe pupils' understanding of the mathematical concept of function. How do pupils define the concept of function? What images of the concept of function evoke when they solve tasks, which involve identifying and constructing functions?Theory: A student's thinking about a mathematical concept depends on more than just the formal definition of the concept; therefore Tall and Vinner introduce the term concept image to describe the role cognitive structures play when students learn about concepts. The cognitive structure includes all mental images, associated properties and processes that an individual associates with a given concept. According to Sfard, an individual's understanding of mathematical concepts may have different character: an operational conception, where a concept is conceived as a process and a structural conception, where the given concept is conceived as an object, that is, as a whole.Method: 16 pupils at the Science Program at two different upper secondary schools inSweden answered a questionnaire on the mathematical concept of function.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the children?s mathematics learning through play. The questions to be answered are: how can teachers facilitate children?s mathematics learning through play? How can play affect children?s math learning? Are the children aware of the role of play in their mathematics learning?My method is based on interviews and observations. My informants are three teachers who work in two different preschools.

I detta examensarbete tas ett konstruktionsförslag fram på en bilbarnstol vars syfte är att minska ergonomiska problem i samband med installation och användning. Det övergripande målet är säkrare barntransporter. Inledningsvis studeras bilbarnstolar utifrån ett brett perspektiv. En sammanställning av problemen bildar basen för det fortsatta konstruktionsarbetet. En marknadsundersökning genomförs för att kontrollera utbudet av bilbarnstolar i Sverige, vartefter koncept tas fram.

ABSTRACTMusic and differences in knowledge ? a study of music teachers experiences with differences in musical knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to, out of a music teacher?s perspective, see if the differences in music abilities between 7th grade students are at all, or in some ways connected to the previous schools they?ve attended. I will also research in what areas, in the subject of music, students are differing more, as well as less, in their knowledge. The analysis is based on interviews with six 7th grade music teachers working in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school system.

This study explores the possibility to find a responsive solution for the product menu at Stadiums? e-commerce website which could contribute to increased conversion rates.The study is built upon an experiment and the foundations of the experiment is based upon a market analysis of used design patterns for product navigation in the domain of sport resellers.
