Inom varje organisation så finns det en egen ledarskapsstruktur, som oftast har den manliga normen som utgångspunkt. Denna norm har föreställningar om vilka egenskaper ledare bör ha. I dagens läge har alltfler kvinnor fått chefs-/ledarskapspositioner. Dock anses dessa kvinnor vara bristfälliga då de har mjuka egenskaper i sitt ledarskap - egenskaper vilka ofta ställs i kontrast till det manliga ledarskapet. För att skapa en viss ledarskapsstruktur använder sig dagens organisationer av individers personligheter och egenskaper.

This study treats the possibility of breeding mallards and pheasants on our own farm, Björnslund. From the beginning I considered to breed them from eggs to adults but after visiting several breeders I changed my mind. It seemed to be a lot of work with no economic profit in comparison with buying already hatched birds and then feed them to adults. If the business shall be profitable I have to be soll the hunting for the birds and then sell the dead birds to game purchasers. There are also calculations that show which price you have to charge for the hunting that will give a positive result. Another possibility is to own a slaughterhouse and sell the meat to restaurants and supermarkets.

Through the qualitative research grounded theory, I made several phone interviews with independence retail traders within the Swedish beauty care business. The selection of respondents is based on statistical facts and geographic coverage of Swedish beauty care shops.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur ett varumärke påverkar en stad och dess image. Vi har dessutom undersökt hur varumärket marknadsförs och om privatpersoner bosatta i Stockholm på något vis kan hjälpa till att stärka varumärket.Fallstudien handlar om Stockholm Visitors Board, Stockholm Business Region och deras varumärke Stockholm ? Lärlingsutbildning som skolform : Hur ställer sig lärare, elever och handledare till det?

 The purpose with my study was primarily to illuminate the students' expectations on gained knowledge during their studies at the upper secondary school Hotel- and Restaurant program, and to what extent these expectations were fulfilled. Secondarily, the purpose was to compare the students' expected and perceived knowledge with the program goals set by the Swedish government and the knowledge requirements expressed in a pilot study made by the Education council of the Hotel and restaurant business (UHR, 2007).I chose a quantative approach and I used an anonymous group enquiry among students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program at two different upper secondary schools to carry out my study.Tendencies in the result suggested that the students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program expected high knowledge level within the competence areas of Guest reception and communication, Cleaning and hygiene, Cooking of cold and hot dishes and Waiting. The expectations were not big within the areas Computers and Internet and Business economics and management.Fulfillment of expected knowledge tended to be high within the areas where the expectations were big. It might therefore be a good investment for schools to work on the student expectations to increase motivation within the low expectation areas.A confrontation of the tendencies in the result with the program goals and the competence requirements expressed in the UHR study, suggested that the upper secondary Hotel- and Restaurant education might focus some more the areas of Guest reception and communication, Beverages and Organization of banquets. Business economics and management should be given much more weight..

Hållbara städer ? bidrar IT? En undersökning huruvida kommuner använder IT för att uppnå en hållbar utveckling

Environmental issues and sustainable development is a high priority in today?s society and has received substantial attention lately. In the inaugural speech it is expressed that the goal for the IT?politics is a sustainable information society for everyone, which can be achieved by using IT to support sustainable growth. The Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications has developed a document which outlines three specific proposals on what the government should focus on during a three?year period (2008?2010) that with the use of IT will contribute to a sustainable society.

Access to the market - a question of collaboration?

When contemplating entering an alliance the rationale behind the decision should differ depending on the size of the companies involved as well as on other important factors. The important factors influencing the decision are related to the resource pooling potential of the alliance, the power structure along with the business network the companies are a part of. The analysis has shown proof of a need for cooperation if one wish to succeed in the telecommunication industry and it has also determined which resources that are deemed to be most important to get in touch with, for our study object, to facilitate its access to the market. Those resources are defined as a direct channel to the customer, funds/capital and the access to relevant business networks. To get in touch with these lacking resources, three alternative approaches has been proposed; all of them involving a strategic alliance decision.

Nedskrivningstest av förvärvad goodwill -mer rättvisande bild?

Syfte: Syftet är att analysera konsekvenserna av nedskrivningstestet och om detta kommer att leda till en mer rättvisande bild. För att uppnå detta ger vi en deskriptiv bild av förslaget samt redogör för skillnaderna gentemot det rådande redovisningssättet i Sverige. Metod: För att få en förståelse för uppsatsområdet har vi utgått från befintlig teori, genom att huvudsakligen undersöka lagar, rekommendationer samt förslaget ED 3. Vi har även gjort intervjuer med personer som har kunskap inom området. Intervjuerna gjordes med utgångspunkt från en kvalitativ metod på grund av att uppsatsen i första hand förespråkar ett förstående syfte.
