Varumärkesidentitet och image ur ett nationellt och ett internationellt perspektiv
Detta är en fallstudie med Axcent of Scandinavia som studieobjekt. Studien behandlar varumärket och imagen hos företagets klockförsäljning. Syftet med den här studien är att studera och analysera Axcent of Scandinavias tänkta image i jämförelse med konsumenternas upplevda image dels i Sverige och dels internationellt.Författarna har använt tillfällighetsurval som underlag för enkätundersökningarna. En intervju med Chief Operating Officer på Axcent of Scandinavia, Liisa Männistö, har genomförts. Detta för att beskriva den tänkta imagen.Resultaten från enkätundersökningarna och ?2 -testen visade harmoni beträffande den tänkta imagen och den upplevda imagen i Sverige.

Organizational culture is a widely discussed topic. Today job mobility in society is increasing as well as part-time employment. This study aims at investigate how organizational culture is maintained in an organization where employees work as combiners of different work occupations. The study is a case study of the department of Art at Konstfack (The University College of Arts, Crafts and Design). The organization is unique in the respect to that the majority of the employees have part-time employments within Konstfack combined with their parallel own artistic occupations.
Generiska strategiers påverkan på köpbeteenden - En studie av kunderna till två livsmedelsbutiker
Due to the well-developed rhetoric and the relative easiness to estimate costs, cost considerations are usually more in-depth than revenue considerations when discussing strategies impact on profitability. To avoid dysfunctional companies and poorly judged strategy decisions it is necessary to develop the rhetoric of revenue considerations.By collecting data from 230 respondents in a quantitative study of two grocery stores in Mora, the study aimed to assess the relationship between choice of generic strategy and self-reported buying behavior, considering differing decision-making processes of customers.The results of the study indicate that a Differentiation strategy performs better than a low-cost strategy in terms of buyer frequency, number of goods and cost of purchase. However, due to a poor data collection method, the results are weak, and should therefore be questioned. The study indicates that reliability considerations for behavioral measures should be treated in the same respect as psychological measures, and therefore illuminates the need for new methods and measures to be developed..
Nivågruppering i grundskolans tidigare år : Hur och varför används den i matematikundervisningen
The aim of this essay is to examine why and how three teachers who work in elementary classes choose to use ability grouping during math lessons and what they think of ability grouping as a method to individualize the activities according to the pupil?s needs.I chose one main question for this study that is the following:What is the teacher?s point of view and experience of ability grouping in teaching mathematics?And three sub-questions:What are the motives behind the choice of ability grouping?What are the advantages of ability grouping?What are the disadvantages of ability grouping?In order to be able to answer my questions, I used the qualitative method. I interviewed three teachers who work in the elementary classes (First to fifth grade) to find out what they think about ability grouping and how it is experienced in mathematic teaching.The result shows that the common thing between these three teachers is that they don?t use ability grouping as the only teaching method. They all agree that the whole class teaching has many benefits for the pupils.

Att utmärka sig bland konkurrenter vid ett lågt produktengagemang : En fallstudie av mejeriföretaget Valio
The purpose of this study is to create an understanding of how a company selling commodity products works to create interest and loyalty among customers and how to stand out relative to competition. Based upon present theories within marketing communication, a comparison is made with actual market information to understand how well the theory can predict reality. The study is applied to the dairy industry with the company Valio as the bench mark. In total four persons have been interviewed, marketing manager and category manager at Valio Sweden, and also project manager and art director from their advertising agency. The qualitative data obtained has been compared to predications given by theory.

I denna uppsats behandlar vi ämnen som relationer, emotioner och sociala band som är baserar på verksamheter inom vården i Västra Götalandsregionen. Vi har undersökt hur man som sjuksköterska, undersköterska och läkare förhåller sig till patienter som är dödligt sjuka på ett professionellt och medmänskligt sätt. Vi vill belysa hur sjuksköterska, undersköterska och läkaren hanterar eventuella svåra emotioner i mötet med sjuka patienter. Ytterligare en aspekt på vår studie är förhållandet mellan individ och gruppnivå i dessa yrken samt hur stödet mellan kollegorna ser ut när det gäller ventilering av emotioner. Vi har även studerat hur arbetsliv och privatliv interagerar med vartannat i detta fall.
Könsneutralt bemötande? : En studie av kommunala inspektörers kundbemötande, ur ett genusperspektiv
Forskning har visat att det förekommer skillnader i bemötandet av kvinnor och män, men att det ofta sker omedvetet. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka kommunala inspektörers genusmedvetenhet och könsdifferentiering i bemötandet av sina kunder. Genom intervjuer med fem inspektörer fann vi att deras allmänna kunskap och medvetenhet om genus var begränsad. Vi använde även observationer för att undersöka skillnader i inspektörernas bemötande av sina kunder beroende på kön. Resultatet visade att manliga kunder fick större uppmärksamhet, fler öppna frågor och mer beröm från inspektörerna än kvinnliga kunder.
Holy cows and dirty dogs : the influence of culture and religion on animal welfare in India
India is home to every sixth person in the world, some 30 million dogs and a quarter of the total world cattle population. A vast majority of Indians are Hindus, and even though the Hindu religion proclaims love, nurturing and worshipping of animals, sometimes the same religion constitutes an obstacle for animal welfare in practice. This paper investigates the significance of historic and religious symbols to the way animals are perceived in modern Indian society, as well as the different social factors which underlie attitudes to animals. The concept of karma, as well as that of good versus bad deaths, is probably the foundation of the general Hindu reluctance to euthanasia in any form. Although in theory all species are generally regarded as equal in Hinduism, in practice there seems to be a Differentiation; for cultural, religious, medical and financial reasons.

The essay deals with the subject about branding and the communicative process that entails between businesses and consumers. The purpose of this paper is to increase understanding of the opportunities and risks of brand building through sponsorship and Co-Branding. This descriptive analysis is made by highlighting the partnership between two strong brands in the Swedish market, Åbro & AIK, and how internal and external associations related to their impact on brand equity. The study has led to the conclusion that the sponsorship should be seen as synonymous with Co-branding, ie. a synergy between two or more brands.
Undervisning för elever med särskilda matematiska förmågor : En studie om hur lärares undervisning i grundskolans tidigare år bedrivs och anpassas till elever med särskilda matematiska förmågor.
The purpose of this study is to see how some teachers in primary school creates and adapts their mathematics teaching for students with special mathematical abilities. It also aims to identify opportunities and challenges that teachers see in creating a teaching adapted to these students.In this study, qualitative interviews has been done to collect data. The interviews were conducted with five teachers who all are active in the primary school.The study results show that there is great variation in how the interviewed teachers create their mathematics teaching for students with special mathematical abilities. The use of mathematics book proved to be significant for how this adaptation took place. The result also shows that the teachers? explanations for the choice of the adaptations that they make in teaching vary.
