Pedagogik för blogg : "när skolan blir viktig och på riktigt"

In this essay I examine if socio cultural theory is present for teachers when pupils and students are using computers in class, especially when using blogs as a tool for learning. The aim of the essay is also to examine if blogs among pupils in class can promote peer support, co-operation and reflective Dialogue, and in that case in what way. The essay consists of two studies, one small interview study and one literature study.  The interview study is made with the qualitative method phenomenographic analysis, presenting four Swedish teachers who have much experience using blogs in education. The aim of the literature study where some national and international research studies of relevance are presented, is to broaden the perspective.The result of the interview study shows that a socio cultural theory is highly present among the teachers who already use blogs in education. In addition, those teachers experience that the blog in the classroom supports Dialogue and co-operation among the pupils.  In contrast, the literature study shows that most teachers in Sweden who made their pupils work with computers in classroom seem to let their student work alone, without guiding them and without creating co-operation or Dialogue in the classroom.

PR och marknadsföring inom sociala medier : En studie kring riskerna att vara social i sociala medier

Social media provides a new position of power to the single individual within PR and marketing campaigns. When a company uses social media as a communication tool in their PR and marketing practice, they have to adapt themselves after the customers' needs and the new communication structure within social media. Communication in social medi is different from traditional media, which is more one-way communicative and visual in its interaction, rather than the digital media that are more two-way communicative av viral through Dialogue. If a company creates PR and marketing campaigns within social media without adjusting to the new rules of communication through Dialogue, and instead try to apply traditional one-way communication to their social campaigns, they put themselves and their brands in risk of public humiliation and loss of customers; the speed of the viral Dialogue over social media can spread bad news fast, and with the newfound power of the single individual, the impliacations can thus be devastating for a company and its brand. If an organization does not respond and take part of the criticism that may be directed at them through the customers' comments, the negative Dialogue among clients and the public within social media can quickly create a hazard enviorment for a company and its brand to be seen in. The public within these social media platforms are more independent and continuously conversing with each other on a local an global scale.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe how librarians inSwedish public libraries use Facebook and Twitter in themediation of literature. Our study focus on the librarians? role inthat process. The research questions are:? How do the librarians in this study regard mediation of literature through Facebook and/or Twitter in relation to othermediation strategies?? What goals and purposes do the librarians give in the selection of literature that they promote on Facebook and/or Twitter?? What do public librarians think about the future for mediation of literature through social media, how will it evolve?The methodology used was qualitative interviews.

Delaktighet i samtal inkluderar elever med särskilda behov : en jämförande studie mellan ordinarie undervisning och specialundervisning

This study is about how the dialog can help students with special needs to feel participation and inclusion in the class and the teaching. My purpose with this study was to look for how the students with special needs interact with other students and teachers through the Dialogue. I also wanted to know if there is any positive and negative effects to teaching students with special need in the classroom compared with the teaching at the special teacher.I have taking purpose of the sociocultural theory in my study because it says that children learn together when they communicate with each other. The theory central words are dialog and scaffolding in the zone of proximal development. I also describe central words like participation, inclusion and students with special needs in the special teaching.I have investigated in four interviews, two of them were with a teacher and a special aids teacher, and two of them were students with special needs.

Det sociala arbetet inom folkbildningen : en fallstudie i Örebro kommun.

The case study investigates study association representatives? perspectives on the activities of the popular education within the social sector in Örebro and why they are organized. It further investigates the cooperation and Dialogue between the study associations and the municipality of Örebro regarding this activity. The study is based on critical realism. A questionnaire survey was conducted among all ten study associations in Örebro, combined with qualitative interviews with representatives from six of the active associations.

En stor röd boll : Adjektivordningen i nominalfrasen

Denna uppsats behandlar ordningen på adjektiv i nominalfrasen. Ett antal faktorer som i tidigare litteratur hävdats vara relevanta undersöks: generell frekvens, semantisk närhet med det substantiv som modifieras, grad av absoluthet och Dixons semantiska adjektivklasser. Undersökning är baserad på material från Språkbanken, främst talspråkskorpusen Gothenburg Dialogue Corpus. Slutsatsen som nås är att det finns definitiva preferenser för vissa ordningar: de mest frekventa adjektiven kommer först, de adjektiv som är semantiskt närmare substantiven och som är mer absoluta placeras närmare substantivet. Detta stämmer med vad som sagts i litteraturen.

The purpose of my research was to develop new knowledge about teachers' experiences of interaction between teachers and students with weak reading comprehension and how these teachers feel that the phenomenon of interaction is expressed in a school context. A focus-group interview with four teachers who have been employed between 4-25 years have been conducted with a hermeneutic research approach as a basis for understanding teachers' perceptions of the phenomenon of interaction. The results suggest that the interaction and communication is an important part of the work. In the communication and interaction results show that concepts such as Dialogue, development , understanding and rhetoric are tools that teachers work with in order to develop a better reading comprehension for students..

"Jag skulle vilja att syv förklarade mer, liksom..." : En kvalitativ studie om samtalets betydelse för utlandsfödda elever

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilken betydelse och påverkan samtalet med studie- och yrkesvägledaren har för utlandsfödda elever med icke svenska föräldrar som är sent anlända till Sverige. En kvalitativ forskningsmetod har används. Fakta har inhämtats via elevintervjuer bestående av åtta informanter från en mindre kommun. Urvalet utgjordes av grundskoleelever i årskurs nio som gjort sitt gymnasieval samt gymnasieelever från årskurs ett och årskurs tre. Resultat och analys indikerar att eleverna tycker att samtalet är betydelsefullt, eleverna får svar på frågor, får faktainformation och detta leder till ett bättre beslutsunderlag i valsituationer.

AbstractPurpose/Aim: The purpose of this paper was to identify the communication process at the company Cherry casino and see what opinions the employees had about it. Moreover, an evaluation of the used strategies was done and an analysis about what perhaps could be done to improve the attitude, communication and in the end the result for the company.Material/Method: The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews and theory application.Main results: The transmission of information regarding the regular work related information works just fine and the channels used are well chosen. But more large-scale information that deals with the company?s plans, strategies and targets is not handled in the right way. Neither is the respond.

Kommunikation om kommunikation : medarbetares upplevelser av vad som påverkar kommunikationen mellan dem och deras chef

Our study aimed at gaining insight of co-workers experiences of different factors that affects the verbal communication and leads to Dialogue and misunderstanding between co-workers and their managers. The empirical material was gained from semi-structured interviews with co-workers at various departments within the same organization. We used a hermeneutic interpretive approach and our data was analyzed concerning different factors affecting communication. The result has been interpreted using the theories of deliberative conversations and Dialogue competence. We have also used Illeris theory of learning.

This paper set out to investigate how teachers of Swedish in Sweden implement the grammar objectives of the curriculum in their teaching, through interviewing six teachers. It has been important to compare their methods to modern research of grammar teaching and teaching in general. They have been asked a series of questions to answer whether or not they use grammar terminology as mediating tools, if they intergrate Dialogue among students in grammar teaching and to what extent the teachers? knowledge of and attitude towards grammar influence their teaching methods. The results show that grammar is used as mediating tools primarily when it comes to feedback on pupils? texts, though not to a great extent; Dialogue between pupils is rare when it comes to grammar teaching; and the teachers? grammar knowledge and attitude affect the teaching methods, primarily in the sense that seeing value in grammar knowledge increases the teacher?s desire to develop new methods for grammar teaching..
