The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.

The overall purpose of this study has its starting point in theories about the consuming society and its advertising. I have examined what kinds of methods that are being used in TV-commercials for beauty products, to influence the consumers. To study advertising, a semiotic method, symbolic interactionism and other theories which discuss symbols and influences, have been used. Six different TV-commercials for beauty products have been examined.The results from this study indicate that the advertiser apply to feelings such as, happiness, a sense of satisfaction, status and success, to affect the consumers behaviour. Med utgångspunkt från detta har jag ställt upp de två frågeställningarna ?hur påverkas kattens beteende om avvänjningen från modern sker före 12 veckors ålder?, och ?vilka problem kan man som djurägare få med sin katt om den avvänjs för tidigt?. Med begreppet beteendeproblem menas beteenden som anses oacceptabla av djurägaren, som ?wool-sucking? eller överdriven vokalisering.

In the palliative care there are many close encounters between the care-taker and the care-giver. To be touched is foundational to every human being and the care-giver shows his presence to the care-taker, when he touch the care-taker. Touch is an important tool for the care-giver in the care for the care-taker. It becomes a natural way of communicating. The aim of this literature study was to describe which factors that are important, for the care-taker in the palliative care, to receive touch in the purpose of feeling well-being.

The aim of this study was to investigate whether the Swedish Institute of public health care uses paternalistic information in their alcohol publications. My intention has also been to examine to what extent the paternalistic information is being used. This is determined simply by how frequently paternalistic information is found in the publications. I chose to analyse five publications that contain alcohol related information and had a clear motive. My results show that all five publications use paternalistic methods with the intention to change readers, or people in their surroundings, alcoholic behaviour. Though this is quite a small essay, I have suggested extended research of the subject ? preferably of all 176 alcoholic publications presented by the Institute of public health care..

The primary aim of the current study was to gain increased knowledge about drivers' risk experiences. The study was based on questionnaires answered by 30 private drivers and 30 bus drivers, with 50% men and 50% woman in each group. The study revealed no differences, either between men and women drivers with regard to their experience of risk, or between the groups of private and bus drivers. Gambling is common within the private drivers group. Mistakes are common in all groups.

Vad är avgörande vändpunkter i psykoterapi? Detta är en kvalitativ studie av konfidenters upplevelser av avgörande ögonblick/vändpunkter. Studien utgår från konfidenternas upplevelser och beskrivning av dessa vändpunkter. Metoden är fenomenologisk och utgår ifrån EPP- metoden. Samtliga sex informanter har gått i terapi över 25 timmar och alla har gått i en psykodynamisk terapi.

The ability of a dog to perform some kind of practical work, for example hunting or herding, depends among other things on its behavioural characteristics. In animal breeding it is not always easy though to select for behavioural traits. It may, for example, be difficult to identify traits that are not only heritable but also of importance for the dogs' ability to perform the practical work of interest. Moreover, it is often difficult to accomplish accurate measurements of behavioural traits. When selecting dogs for breeding, it is usually preferable to evaluate them using an objective and standardized bahavioural test, rather than results from field trials.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate professional artists experience of the need and use of information in their creative work. I have collected the material through qualitative interviews with four professional artist working with different materials and techniques. One of the results of the study is that the artists first of all used information as a source of inspiration in their creative work. They gathered their information from various scources, for example; pictures, exhibitions, visual arts, books and novells, depending on what project they are working with. Other important information scources were colleges, especially for the technical information need.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av hjälpmedelsuppföljning. För att besvara syftet valdes en kvalitativ metod för datainsamling och analys. Tolv verksamma arbetsterapeuter ingick i studien. Inklussions- kriterierna var att arbetsterapeuter som deltog skulle vara verksamma legitimerade arbetsterapeuter, förskriva hjälpmedel och ha yrkesarbetat under minst ett år. Data samlades in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer och en intervjuguide användes som stöd vid intervjuerna.

Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilken betydelse sociala aktiviteter har för äldre människor.Metod: En litteraturstudie av elva kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Studierna artiklarna bygger på har ett urval av socialt aktiva äldre deltagare med fokus på sociala aktiviteter ur ett deltagarperspektiv. I dataanalysen användes kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i följande kategorier: Sociala relationer, vidgade vyer, meningsfullhet, tillhörighet, delaktighet, sociala rutiner, livsberikande, tillföra något till andra, personlig utveckling och välbefinnande.Slutsats: Sociala aktiviteter var betydelsefulla för deltagarna i studierna som utgör underlag för den här studien. 2800 kvinnor i Sverige insjuknar i gynekologisk cancer årligen. Vanliga behandlingsmetoder är kirurgi, strål- och cytostatikabehandling. Behandlingarna har visat fysisk och psykisk påverkan och att kvinnor med gynekologisk cancer oroar sig i större grad än andra patienter med andra cancerformer. Syftet var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser efter avslutad behandling av gynekologisk cancer. Uppsatsen genomfördes som en litteraturstudie där 12 artiklar analyserades.
