The aim of this study is to examine the language, used in parts of The day care report of 1968 (?1968 års Barnstugeutredning?). The day care report of 1968 was a public investigation appointed by the cabinet intended to prepare new policies on the part of the Swedish state.  I focus on the change, which can be assumed to have occurred, when replacing the names ?day care? (?dagis/daghem?) and ?kindergarten? (?lekskola?) with the name ?preschool? (?förskola?).

Research shows that supportive conversations with elderly who are living in nursing homes isrequested among care personnel, this to satisfy both older people's mental health and socialhealth. The care personnel try to offer the elderly supportive conversation to the extent theyare able to, but they are experiencing obstacles in terms of shortage of time, ignorance and aperceived ambiguity in their profession. The purpose of present study is to describe andanalyze the phenomenon of supportive conversation with elderly living in nursing homes,based on care personnel?s perspective. The study is based on qualitative interviews with thecare personnel working in special housing.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka följsamheten till läkemedelsordinationerna för orala medel mot diabetes hos en grupp bestående av 50-59 åriga individer. I studien är följsamheten beräknad som den procentuella andelen av patienterna som köpt ut minst 80 % av ordinerad mängd av läkemedel. Med hjälp av expeditionsdatum, uppgifter om antalet uttagna tabletter och dosering beräknades om mängden uttagna tabletter skulle räcka fram till nästa uttag.

The purpose of this study is to examine the situation of the school for boys 15-21 years of age lacking compulsory school attendance and is being located at five residential care units from the pedagogues? point of view. The study was conducted by interviewing four pedagogical leaders and two teachers. The results demonstrate that the boys can choose the subjects they study as well as the amount of time they spend on studying each week. The teachers include non-learning activities during their lessons.

In this critical situation the nurse has an important role for the care. Many nurses lack of knowledge about how to take care of the bereaved relatives. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe aspects of caring for suddenly bereaved relatives. Method: The data for the study were scientific articles found in the databases PubMed and Cinahl and from a manual search.

Graviditetsdiabetes innebär diabetes som nyupptäcks under graviditeten. Graviditetsdiabetes innebär en förändring av det dagliga livet. Forskning har visat att förändringen medför både positiva och negativa upplevelser, dels ökad medicinsk uppmärksamhet beroende på sjukdomen, dels ett mer inrutat liv än tidigare eftersom kvinnan måste kontrollera sitt blodsocker upprepade gånger varje dag.. Därmed blir hon också hela tiden påmind om sin graviditetsdiabetes. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur kvinnor som får diabetes under sin graviditet upplever sin situation.

Inledning: Föräldrar till barn med diabetes typ 1 utför en avancerad egenvård för attskapa förutsättningar för att deras barn ska få ett normalt liv och minska risken förföljdsjukdomar. En bristfälligt skött egenvård innebär risker både på kort och lång siktsamt påverkar skolarbetet. Under skoltid har skolan ansvar för att egenvården fungeraroch att barnet får det stöd det behöver. I den begränsade forskning som gjorts gällandeföräldrars erfarenheter när deras barn vistas i skolmiljö framkommer att föräldrar dåkan känna oro och att skolpersonalen inte alltid har förståelse och kunskap omdiabetessjukdomen. I skolsköterskans arbete ingår att ge stöd till elever ochvårdnadshavare i syfte att främja hälsa.

Sökorden var diabetes, education, empowerment, management, nurse, nursing, patient, satisfaction, selfcare. Totalt användes 31 referenser till studien varav 16 empiriska artiklar låg till grund för resultatet.

The aim of this study was to investigate if the next-of-kin of patients cared for at the thoracic clinic at Uppsala University hospital, have received information about self-care and how they perceive the information they have been given.
