The aim of this essay is to investigate the attitudes towards religion and religious people held by a group of Swedish high school students. The main questions are; what causes these attitudes andhow do they shape the students? encounter with religion and religious people and in what way could religious education help the students problematize these attitudes?The method used is a quantitative method using a questionnaire, with a Likert scale, posing different questions about religion as such, world religion and religious people. The theoretical basis, in order to discuss the result of the questionnaire, is a gender theory and the theory of social psychology.The result of the study confirms earlier studies of youths both in Sweden and Western Europe. The result shows that there is a certain degree of negative attitudes towards religion, most of all againstIslam.

Through this project -?Projekt Pedadoggen?- I have tested dog training as a pedagogical resource at Daily activities. The study was made together with a group of persons with intellectual and neuropsychiatric disabilities, whose daily activities consist of running a day-care centre for dogs. Each participator of the project trained a dog towards a specific goal. This goal was individually formulated by each participator from his or her specific interest.

Meditation, med ett ursprung från yoga, har blivit allt vanligare i friskvården mot fysiska stressymptom exempelvis för att minska muskelspänningar men även som ett verktyg för den egna personliga utvecklingen. Samtidigt som forskningsresultat visar på meditationens betydelse för fysisk kropp och det mentala finns rapporter från forskare som varnar för överdriven tilltro till undersökningar som inte verifierats eller varit undermåliga. Uppsatsens syfte har varit att studera meditation utifrån jungianskt och klassisk yogafilosofiskt perspektiv. Med detta som bakgrund har en intervjuundersökning gjorts för att få meditationsutövares svar på frågor om varför de börjat meditera, vilken effekt på den fysiska och mentala kroppen man upplever i samband med meditation och hur man vill beskriva meditationens betydelse för sin personliga utveckling. Metoden som använts är inspirerad av fenomenografi.

The aim of the present thesis is to examine discourses about teaching information seeking in upper secondary school teachers. The main questions are: (1) What different interpretative repertoires can be identified among teachers talking about teaching information seeking in relation to students? problem-based tasks? (2) How are these repertoires constructed and what functions can be observed? The theoretical framework is discursive psychology. Two teacher teams from two different upper secondary schools in the Gothenburg area participated in focus group interviews. Group A consisted of four teachers from the Individual Programme and group B of seven teachers from the Social Science Programme.

Bakgrund: Tidigare studier visar att när någon blir allvarligt sjuk påverkar det hela familjen. Familjefokuserad vård innebär att de som är viktiga i patientens liv inkluderas i vården. Få studier har med en djupare förståelse beskrivit anhörigas upplevda behov. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa vuxna familjemedlemmars upplevda behov vid mötet med en akutmottagning/intensivvårdsavdelning. Metod: Litteraturstudien byggde på åtta studier, varav fyra med kvalitativ forskningsansats och fyra med en lämplig kombination av kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats.

For most pupils homework is a natural part of school and their education and there are several providers of homework assistance: the pupil's parents, sibblings, friends, Internet forums, hired private tutoring, non-profit organisations and at times even the pupil's school. This study has investigated the use of the school-based homework assistance programme at the Upper Secondary School of Psychology in Stockholm and why the programme is not more frequently used by its pupils. The school offers homework assistance two hours each Thursday afternoon, with at least two teachers being present to tender for the school's 127 pupils. The cost of the programme has been estimated to approximately 12 500 Swedish kronor per week. Through the main use of a questionnaire given to both the school's students and teachers, as well as an interview with the school's headmaster, this study will show that despite receiving the opportunity few pupils take part of the programme on a regular basis.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka dels vad det är som får människor att vilja träffas "face-to-face" från en kontakt via Internet, dels vad som väcker attraktion för en annan människa på Internetdejtingsajten Q500. Totala antalet deltagare var 732 stycken, varav 395 kvinnor och 337 män. En explorativ undersökning har gjorts med hjälp av två riktade enkäter; en för de som hade dejtat någon via Internet och en för de som inte hade det. Frågeställningarna för undersökningen var vad användarna på Q500 uppfattade som särskilt attraherande, vad som kunde tänkas leda fram till en dejt offline från en kontakt online och om eventuella signifikanta skillnader fanns mellan könen, samt mellan de som dejtat och de som inte dejtat någon tidigare via Internet rörande hur de skattat frågeområdena. Civilstånd och ålder korrelerades med skattningarna och det framkom en del svaga positiva samband.

Achievements within the fields of computer- and telecommunication technology have led to a revolution when it comes to managing information. These achievements have made it possible to offer new services in healthcare, especially in telemedicine. New technology has become a complement to traditional care, thus partly compensating for insufficient time and resources. Telephone Linked Care (TLC) is a telecommunication technology that enables automated dialog counselling and monitoring of patients in their homes. During the last two decades numerous randomized controlled studies with TLC have demonstrated improvement among outpatients with chronic and health behaviour disorders.

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt hur styrdokumenten inom ett medelstort företag i Västsverige påverkar organisationskulturen och samspelet mellan personalen. Vårt syfte har varit att öka förståelsen kring hur eller om dessa dokument kan styra och påverka individerna och kulturen inom en organisation. Vi har utgått ifrån ett institutionellt etnografiskt och etnometodologiskt angreppssätt i vår ansats in i fa?ltet. Vi har genom detta sett till dokumenten som en makronivå, translokal nivå och samspelet som en mikronivå, lokal nivå inom företaget.

Magisteruppsatsen studerar pedagogers erfarenhet av motstånd mot genusarbete samt försöker förklara motståndet utifrån socialpsykologiska teorier. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med lärare som arbetar med skolans äldre åldrar. Samtliga lärare var engagerade i genusarbete på sina skolor. Tidsbrist samt ointresse var två former av motstånd som kollegor och skolledning utövade. En svårare form av motstånd visade sig vara tillmötesgående motstånd ? då motståndsaktörer ger sken av att vilja arbeta med genusperspektiv men i själva verket låter det bero.

Background: During extreme market conditions like the period during fall 2008 the discussion of what affects company value becomes apparent. The capital structure is the relation between borrowed capital and equity in a company´s financing mix. What impact changes in capital structure have on company value is a widely debated subject within the theory of finance. If a relationship between capital structure and company value exists the implication is that an optimal capital structure where company value is maximized also exists.Aim: The aim of the thesis is to study whether a certain relationship between capital structure and company value exists among selected stocks and companies listed on Stockholmsbörsens OMXS30.Implementation: With aim to fulfill the purpose of the thesis regression analysis has been performed among chosen stocks and companies. The empirical results eventuating from this have been analyzed from the view of elected relevant theory.Completion and results: We find that during normal market conditions a positive relationship between debt ratio and enterprise value (EV) can be established.

Det har alltid funnits en önskan att effektivisera processer vilket kan vara en anledning till varför teambuilding idag har blivit en vanligare insats i arbetslivet. Om teambuilding är ett fenomen som kan öka effektiviteten ställer man sig undrande till varför åsikten om det pendlar från entusiastiska rapporter till ett starkt ifrågasättande. Syftet med uppsatsen var att få grepp om termen teambuilding, samt undersöka i vilken utsträckning teorier tas i beaktande när man använder sig av teambuilding i praktiken. I undersökningen användes en kvalitativ metod där 10 strukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med teambuildingkonsulter. Resultatet visar att det i de flesta fall existerar en genomtänkt struktur för hur man förenar teori och praktik, dock kunde inga allmängiltiga mönster eller klara riktlinjer för hur teambuilding ska bedrivas fastställas.

Doctors typically relate to a explanatory biological model, and social workers and psychologists seek social and historical reasons for neuropsychological diagnoses.A diagnosis is an obligation for medical doctors as well as other professionals within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a neuropsychological diagnosis is a prerequisite for treatment and more often than not for other forms of support from society.The aim of this study is to examine the function of a neuropsychological diagnosis with regards to the individual patient, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and society. A second aim was to examine how psychologists and social workers trained in the social sciences view neuropsychological diagnoses.Qualitative interview research methods have been used. Most of the interviews were recorded and transcribed in their entirety. The data has been organised into appropriate categories and the most relevant quotes have been selected.

Intentionen med denna studie var att söka djupare förståelse för anställdas upplevelser och förväntningar av inflytande vid en stor omorganisation. Studien bygger delvis vidare på en kvantitativ undersökning som gjordes i samband med organisatoriska förändringar inom Göteborgs stad. Där framkom flertalet faktorer som kan in- och påverka individens upplevelse av inflytande. Med utgångspunkt ur tidigare forskning utarbetades fem olika teman kopplade till dessa faktorer; förändring, ledarskap, attityder, kommunikation och inflytande. Härefter intervjuades fyra personer anställda inom Göteborgs stad.

Work is an important part of the lives of humans, fulfilling several functions; it establishes possibilities to interaction and to feeling as belonging to a context, it gives structure to time and space, creates common goals and it leads to a general well-being in individuals. For the well-being of employees it is essential with recuperation in a pleasant environment where you under relaxing and informal forms have a chance to interact with colleagues. The aim of this study was to investigate to which extent the employees of Tetra Pak Packaging Material AB at Tetra Pak in Lund experience that the informal communication during the coffee-break contributes to their well-being. The aim was also to distinguish if this potential well-being effects how the employees experience how work in general makes them feel. The hypothesis of the study is that the coffee-break effects the well-being in a positive way, and that it has a positive effect on how work in general makes the employees feel.
