Projektet har utförts ur ett bokförlags perspektiv och förklarar Natur & Kulturs byte av teknisk plattform för deras digitala lÀromedel. Detta projekt var ett delprojekt och delades in i tre faser: FAS 1: Förstudie, FAS 2: Genomförande och FAS 3: Analys och utvÀrdering. Syftet med projektet Àr dels att ge en helhetssyn över hur bytet skett i praktiken inom bokförlaget, och dels undersöka mÄlgruppens förvÀntning pÄ den nya tekniska plattformen. Projektets mÄl Àr att producera tvÄ titlar i produktions- och publiceringsverktyget 3D Issue, med utgivning höstterminen 2015. Metoderna som har anvÀnts i det hÀr projektet Àr: intervju och en sammanstÀllning av Natur & Kulturs enkÀtstudie, och en variation av deltagande observation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and develop a workflow for assessing and representing the value of ecosystems to professionals involved in municipal planning. A thorough literature review was conducted and supplemented by interviews and observations. Frameworks for ecosystem service assessments were analyzed and combined with methods in urban planning in order to assess social and ecological conditions. A workflow was set up and methods were evaluated by applying them to a case study in the area ÅstrĂ„ket in Uppsala. Experience from the case study was compiled in order to improve the workflow.Complex assessments were identified and simplified for the method to be useful for practitioners.

I enighet med bland annat Agenda 21, Baltic 21 Education och FN:s Ärtionde för utbildning för hÄllbar utveckling ska Sverige omorientera sina utbildningssystem sÄ att de stödjer en hÄllbar utveckling. Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka vad utbildning för hÄllbar utveckling innebÀr för lÀrare i grundskolans högre Ärskurser,genom att identifiera och undersöka anknutna möjligheter, svÄrigheter och erfarenheter. Detta har gjorts utifrÄn en teoretisk litteraturstudie och en kvalitativ fallstudie. Den teoretiska studien baserades pÄ vetenskaplig litteratur sÄvÀl som internationella och nationella styrdokument, överenskommelser och undersökningar et cetera. För fallstudien genomfördes fem djupintervjuer med lÀrare.

This thesis presents the theory behind prototyping and user interviews as parts of requirements analysis. It further discusses how these were used in the development of a budget planning application. The implemented Web-based solution uses a new component-based design rooted in a Model-View-Controller architecture. The application is used today with complete success at the Department of Computer and Information Science at Linköping University..

Test Driven Development (TDD) Àr en utvecklingsteknik dÀr testning ses som ennaturlig del i utvecklingsprocessen och dÀr tillvÀgagÄngssÀttet hjÀlper utvecklaren attsektionera upp programkoden till mindre och mer hanterbara delar. PÄ sÄ sÀtt gerTDD utvecklare ett stöd under programmeringsfasen sÄ att de fÄr fram ren ochflexibel kod som Àr enkel att Àndra och felsöka. TDD som teknik underlÀttar Àvenmöjligheterna att utveckla koden inom den tidsram som finns i och med attbetungande testfaser, som i traditionella metodiker och tekniker kan blitidsavgörande, istÀllet integreras som en naturlig del i utvecklingsprocessen. Syftetmed denna uppsats Àr att belysa de fördelar som finns med att anvÀnda TDD vidutveckling av nya applikationer. Vi ska ge utvecklarna som Àr involverade iprogrammeringsfasen argument till varför TDD bör tillÀmpas vid utveckling avapplikationer och hur TDD kan vara ett hjÀlpmedel för att uppnÄ en bÀttrekodstruktur/design för applikationen.

Denna rapport beskriver framtagandet av ett Àmnesöverskridande temaarbete för Ärskurs 4-6 om mat med hÄllbar utveckling som grund. Dagens samhÀlle prÀglas av klimatförÀndringar och konsekvenser av detta. I framtiden kommer dessa konsekvenser att mÀrkas allt mer. För att vÀnda den negativa trenden och skapa ett hÄllbart samhÀlle spelar utbildning en stor roll. Enligt den svenska lÀroplanen ska hÄllbar utveckling genomsyra all undervisning genom ett övergripande miljöperspektiv.

The project was made in cooperation with Coffee Queen AB, Arvika. The task was to develop and design a new cooler for the milk to Jura Impressa X9, an espresso machine. The good assistance with staff at Coffee Queen and engineers in China and at KPA in Karlstad led to a solution to the problem. It was a long road to get there, many different concepts was developed. When the day came to decide which concept to work with, the choice stood between two different technical solutions.

The project Design analysis and proposals of plastic screw caps in Australia was performed at Högskolan Dalarna incooperation with University of Western Sydney, Australia. The Swedish company Tetra Pak, in Lund, were assigner forthe project that was performed 2006-2007. The commission was to do a survey about the packages for non-carbonateddrinks in Australia. The bottles had to be plastic, able to open in one step and with focus on the caps.The project has result in design analysis and a new proposal of a plastic screw cap for the Australian market. Sixbottles were choosen and they were all testet on 20 consumers each with a Likert-scale test.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda pÄ hur förskollÀrare upplever att barns utveckling och lÀrande frÀmjas, hur de upplever sin roll samt vilka fördelar och hinder de upplever i utomhusverksamheten. För att ta reda pÄ detta genomfördes semistrukturerade, kvalitativa intervjuer med fem stycken förskollÀrare med utgÄngspunkt frÄn en intervjuguide. Resultatet vi kom fram till var att alla förskollÀrarna hade en positiv instÀllning till utomhusverksamhet och att barns utveckling och lÀrande frÀmjas pÄ ett annat sÀtt utomhus Àn inomhus. FörskollÀrarna sÄg olika pÄ sin roll och nÀmnde flera olika egenskaper bl.a. att vara vÀgledande.

'Hir in the box' is a study about the gender perspective in packaging design and how it is today. The study deals with the product category razors, for both women and men, to examine and compare products with the same function but with different designs. Based on an analysis of how packages are designed for different sexes, information should be given on how gender-neutral packaging can be designed and used in the future to reach the market. The purpose of the study is also to contribute to future research on the subject. To fulfill the purpose of this study, nuanced and in-depth data is collected by means of a small-N-study and a qualitative study in the form of open group interviews where the survey units are reviewed and discussed.

The water tower in Uppsala city forest was built in the late 1950's in what is now a nature reserve. The unique place was supposed to be visited by people, which is currently not the situation. This bachelor thesis aimed to perform an analysis and make a design proposal for the environment surrounding the water tower. The analysis was performed using the methodology previously described by architect Arne Branzell. The methodology focuses on how a space is perceived by a person moving through it.

The following report comprises my bachelorÂŽs thesis in Industrial design, 30 hp. It is executed in collaboration with Bonum senior housing, who has been the client and assignment- maker of this project.The goal was to design a bench for their entrances, which could represent not only the needs of the target group but also Bonum as a trademark. The work is done with great care for both human kind and the environment, with sustainability as beacon.The design process has been followed.Initially, you will find the definition of a bench for entrances, the framework including inclusive as well as sustainable design, a function- and market analysis followed by the inspiration part of the project. Getting to know the target group and their specific needs has been essential for this work.Investigations about what senior house living and senior products are and what the target group thinks and feels, has been done. As a result, two ?personas? has been developed.With the help of a purposely chosen group of people, surveys and ergonomic studies has been executed, as well as prototype-testing.The fact-finding has formed the stable and unavoidable foundation of this project, which later on gets more creative and idea based.
