The main purpose of this study was to inquire into personality and the state anxiety in relation to career decidedness scale among students in upper secondary school. The participants were 124 students in three grades and respectively non vocationally oriented classes. The participants were asked to grade themselves on a scale in relation to the statements regarding, state of decidedness for career choice, personality (NEO FFI, Costa & McCrae, 1985. Sweden, Gerontologic Center) and anxiety (AnTI, Wells, 1994). The results showed no significant relationship between personality and state of anxiety that could be connected to the decidedness for career choice.

Ear Acupuncture is an alternative form of treatment that has been shown to relieve anxiety and depression in previous studies.Aim: To evaluate ear acupuncture as a group treatment for depression and anxietyMethod: A psychiatric outpatient clinic has been offering group treatments with ear acupuncture for anxiety and depression for 5 weeks. Participants of the study have answered self-rating scales Montgomery Åsberg Depression Rating Scale, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Sheehan Disability scale before and after the treatment period. Material was collected in the period 2008-2012 and has been analyzed in SPSS.Results: Data from 31 patients were included in the study. The results from the study showed a significant difference, between the measurements before and after treatment, with a reduction of the average values in the three different scales.Summary: From this study, it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the effect of ear acupuncture.

Syfte: Litteraturstudien hade två syften. Det första syftet var att undersöka hur vanligt det är att tandvårdsrädsla är en orsak till att vuxna inte går till tandvården och det andra om oregelbundna tandvårdsbesökare är mer tandvårdsrädda. Material och metod: En systematisk litteratursökning utfördes i databasen PubMed. Inklusionskriterierna var att studierna ska ha utförts på personer > 15 år och artiklar vara skrivna på engelska. Exklusionskriteriet var reviewartiklar.

The main objective of this study has been to explore how art therapists experience the visual art´s that can be used in the promotion of health among people with depression - and anxiety disorders. The concept of SOC- sense of coherence has been a central term and a link between imaging and SOC were identified in the study. The underlying method in the study was a qualitative form, where semi-structured interviews were used. Through a strategic- sample five female art therapist were contacted, who all came to participate in the study. The study is essentially based on hermeneutical method and the analysis of interview material has been analyst by using thematic analysis.

The aim for this study was to describe Social Physique Anxiety and Self-Efficacy in the school year of 7 and 9. To that the aim for this study was to describe if there was differences between girls and boys, but also between the school years, when it comes to the estimation of Social Physique Anxiety and Self-Efficacy. The method for this report was of statistic design, with a deductive methodology who was analysed and presented in. The empirical material was collected thru questionnaires where the level of information was of quantitative characteristics. The results from this study showed that girls estimate higher Social Physique Anxiety then the boys, in school year 7 and 9.

This study examines if children in 5th grade experience any speech anxiety about speaking when everyone in the class will hear but while sitting down either by their desks or in a circle. I also want to find out how much the children speak; do boys or girls speak more than the other sex? Is there any difference in space of speech in the classroom, and if so is it connected to speech anxiety? Gender perspective is the theoretical outlook that this study has which is used to find out if there are any differences between boys and girls in the amount they talk in the classroom and the way the children themselves describe how it is to talk in the classroom. To find out if children in 5th grade experience any speech anxiety while speaking sitting down in everyday activities I interviewed six boys and six girls and to find out how much they spoke I observed the grade for a total of nine lessons. The result shows that some of the pupils do experience speech anxiety when sitting down and speaking so that everyone can.

The study was based on a questionnaire that was made at the patient clinic. The questionnaire was conducted by the treating dental hygienist student after the treatment. The questionnaire was answered in the waiting room. Collection of the material occurred during the month of March in 2009.

Introduktion: På grund av extremt hög fattigdom har de orala hälsofrågorna haft låg prioritet i Tanzania. Vid en konferens 2004 i Nairobi om den orala hälsan i Afrika ställde sig Tanzania, tillsammans med andra Afrikanska länder, bakom det gemensamma beslutet att hållbara nationella program måste utvecklas för att främja oral hälsa. Detta beslut har varit en drivkraft till att delta i och utveckla nedanstående projekt avseende munhälsofrämjande insatser. Endast ett fåtal studier finns redovisade vad gäller prevalensen av karies, gingivit och dental fluoros bland barn i Tanzania.Syfte: Syftet var att kartlägga antal tänder samt förekomst av karies, gingivit, dental fluoros samt munhygienvanor bland barn i Nkinga English Medium School och Nkinga Public School i Nkinga, Tanzania.Metod: Studien är en epidemiologisk tvärsnittstudie och bestod av klinisk undersökning av 244 skolbarn på 2 olika skolor. Undersökningen avslutades med tre muntliga frågor om munhygienvanor.

A study was carried in conjunction with the Orthodontic department at Halmstad General Hospital in Sweden to investigate the possibility of reducing cost and manufacture time of dental implant drill guides. The current system involves sending a digital image in STL format to the Materialise factory in Belgium where information of the position of dental implants is translated onto a moulded mouthpiece. Drill guides are placed in the mouth piece which is then returned to the surgeon. The mouthpiece complete with drill guides is then placed in the patients mouth and used as a guide for the implant drill holes. The cost of 10000 sek and a turnaround time of 2 weeks gave rise to the need for a faster and cheaper solution.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva och jämföra tandvårdsrädsla och attityder till tandhygienist vid studiens start samt 3 månader efter icke kirurgisk parodontalbehandling hos patienter med kronisk parodontit samt att beskriva hur olika bakgrundsfaktorer påverkar tandvårdsrädsla och attityder till tandhygienist. Ett ytterligare syfte var att studera sambandet mellan attityder till tandhygienist och tandvårdsrädsla. Studien var en jämförande studie med kvantitativ ansats och en del i en större experimentell studie med två aktiva interventioner för att påverka munhygienbeteende. Studien innefattade 109 studiedeltagare, 57 kvinnor och 52 män i åldrarna 25-65 år som var remitterade till specialistklinik för parodontologi. Frågeformuläret som användes gällande tandvårdsrädsla var Dental anxiety Scale (DAS) med 4 påståenden avseende upplevelser för att besöka tandhygienist.

 Introduktion: Tandlöshet är ett problem som drabbar många människor. Kraven på funktionella och snygga tänder i livets alla skeden har blivit tydligare på senare år. Dentala implantat är en möjlighet att ersätta förlorade tänder och har hjälpt många individer att få sin livskvalité tillbaka.Syfte: Att kartlägga mjukvävnads- och hårdvävnadskomplikationer som kan uppkomma efter en behandling med dentalt implantat och vilka orsaker det finns till dessa.Frågeställningar: Vad finns det för mjukvävnads- och hårdvävnadskomplikationer som kan uppkomma efter en behandling med dentalt implantat?Vad finns det för orsaker till komplikationer efter behandling med dentalt implantat?Metod: Studien är en systematisk litteraturstudie.Resultat: Efter behandling med dentalt implantat kan olika mjukvävnads- och hårdvävnadskomplikationer uppstå. De två vanligaste mjukvävnadskomplikationer var peri-implantär mukosit och mukosal hyperplasi.
